Vanishing Act: A mysteriously chilling read

Rate this book
In the world of magic, nothing disappears without a trace.

When the celebrated illusionist, Gabriel Mirage, is found dead in the midst of his own vanishing act, O’Malley and Swift are thrust into a realm where the truth is as elusive as the disappearing act itself.

As the duo peel back the layers of deception, a fierce rivalry between magicians comes to light, and a clandestine society within the community is discovered.

When Swift does a vanishing act of his own, it’s a race against time for the rest of the team to unravel cryptic messages, decode ancient secrets, and navigate a world where reality and illusion blur.

But is this world secret enough to kill for? And will O’Malley and Swift find out just how far they’re willing to go to keep it that way?

Because nothing is as it seems, and the search for answers may prove more dangerous than any magical illusion.

getting silly

I have read all of these books because they are relatively short on Kindle Unlimited and I have enjoyed them- to a point. This one just seems a bit silly. Annie isn’t a police officer yet solved all the crimes. Again. It just seems a bit silly.

Like mentioned in the previous books review.. this story with Mim and their parents is still getting dragged to the point it gets annoying. And don't get me to start about Mim - she is actually the worst, can't stand her at all.

The story was fun and I was really scared for a tiny moment.

Also can't Annie become a proper police officer? This time she was doing all the solving which was weird..

The book was amazing!

So much going on, but very exciting. Again, you don’t know who the bad guy is till the very end. This series is so good, I can’t wait to read the next book.

I don't know why, but I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did the previous ones. I shall still continue to read K T Galloway as I enjoy the characters in the series.

I enjoy this series as you get invested in the characters and story never to drawn out.

Reason for 4 is due to constant spelling mistakes eg that instead of than.

Another incredibly brilliant book by K.T.Galloway, Annie, Swift, Tink & Page, are great characters who make up Swifts team, and all work so hard in the gripping crimes they solve.

Iv read this whole series and last 2 books iv even pre ordered to carry them on but this wasn't the best, felt a bit rushed, but I need to know about Annie's parents so I'm persevering because the previous books are good, hopefully the next will pick back up my favourites are corn dolls (book 1) and house of secrets (book 4)
