As an energetic man at 6’4” tall and 195 pounds of muscle, I very much enjoy athletic pursuits including basketball, waterskiing, and snow skiing. While having a quiet and shy personality, I value my integrity above all else with loyalty to my friends and family coming in as a very close second.

An unexpected pleasurable read with this high-stakes, action-heavy storyline that blends espionage with an emotionally complicated romance. From the start, there’s a strong sense of urgency, with the rescue mission driving the plot while tension simmers between the characters.

Ty and Xander’s relationship is far from straightforward, and that’s what makes it interesting. There’s history, lingering feelings, and unresolved complications, especially with Garrett still very much part of the picture. It adds an emotional edge to the mission, where it’s not just about survival, but what happens when the past collides with the present.

The story moves quickly, with plenty of danger, shifting plans, and moments where everything could fall apart. That constant pressure keeps things engaging, while the underlying relationships give it more depth than just a straightforward action plot.

The characters themselves feel human in their flaws and choices, which makes it easier to stay invested in both the outcome of the mission and their personal journeys.

Review for (Naked Gay Hostage) Intrepid Rescue by Ty Debauchee

I am drawn to this style of romance, an action-packed story that has intrigue and trying to survive all the people that are trying to kill them as they go on a rescue mission to save Garrett, who was his first love. The intrigue of foreign governments that want them dead. This series by Ty Debauchee is a new author for me. I did enjoy their writing and the world they built around Simon & Xander (Xan for short)
trying to rescue Garrett. Simon feels that Xander and Ty are meant for each other, so they try to set the way to make this happen. Simon cares for him enough to want him to be with who he is meant to be with. Trying to make this happen, he sets a birthday party for Xander, and he makes sure he invites Ty. All hell breaks out at the birthday party. This story is full of so much action that I couldn't put it down; I needed to know what happened lol. The heated sex was so well written. I have to go read the next one because I'm addicted.

I've read books 501 and 502 in this series in a binge read because I couldn't put them down. This book does a wonderful job of setting up the next book and they flowed seamlessly into each other. Here we meet Ty and Xander and learn about their history with each other. They have a friend working to get them back together, but plans are interrupted when Ty is assigned to lead a covert mission and rescue another old love, Garrett. We see the mission training and set up as well as how things go off and fail to go off as the team works to rescue Garrett. Things contine apace in the next book.

Intrepid Rescue is the first book in the Naked Gay Hostage series. This is the story of Ty and Xander. This is an action packed story with great characters and world building. I loved the steamy bits, they were well written. I also enjoyed the intrigue and suspense in the story. I loved that Ty and Xander aren't perfect, they are flawed just like everyone else. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book.

Thank you for the ARC, I voluntarily give it an honest review. Like WTH, does no body have any social awareness? What is it nake Ty question his own inner psych?
Dang I'm hopeful that my bais wouldn't rear it's ugly self just yet, but even joking Ty isn't really wrong on about how Xander acts sometimes.
But then Ty does do some questionable things also.
