Law of Attraction - 30 Practical Exercises

Rate this book
Although I had read dozens of self help books and knew all there was to know about the law of attraction, I wasn't really 'practising' it. I was still struggling with several areas of my life - a career I disliked, a bank balance that anyone would be ashamed of and a non-existent love life. After a very low point in my life I decided enough was enough. I had to take charge and get my life back on track. Using everything I had learned about the law of attraction, I compiled a selection of practical exercises for my own personal use and challenged myself to regularly use them for 60 days. What happened in that short time was nothing short of a miracle. I got the opportunity to work in an industry that I had been dreaming about for the last 3 years, my income increased and I felt happier than I had for a very long time. Fast forward and I am now my own boss! I am financially free and happily married with a beautiful, healthy daughter. My world has changed considerably because of the exercises contained in this book and yours can too. Consistently focusing on these law of attraction exercises centered my attention on the end result and that is the real to key to success. This book provides you with the practical know-how to manifest whatever it is you choose in your life, whether that is financial freedom, better relationships, your dream home, better health, loving friendships, a successful business or a healthy, happy family. The power is in your hands.

This is a short book. 30 exercises to deal with if you want to. This book is similar to the secret but much more practical. You can use all those techniques or just few of them to have whatever you want. The author has references to the internet, for example YouTube, were you can find this and that she is talking about. For instance you can go and find blank checks on the net and fill them out for your self.

Of other exercises here are: Going to some store, have money in your pocket, be able to buy some stuff but don´t do it. Just have the feeling of being able to do it and that you are rich. And so you become.

Stand in front of the mirror everyday and say something positive. Stop gossiping, it comes back at you and be grateful every morning you wake up. Lots of ideas like that are in that book.

This book is positively written, takes no time to read but leaves you with positive ideas you can use in life.

One of the better LOA

She provides a vast amount of exercises and information. These exercises are so doable, and she goes into great detail about the benefits of each exercise and how to accomplish it. Very interesting information.

So helpful!!!

Wow is all I can say! This book is so incredibly helpful and most importantly PRACTICAL!! This book is like gold mine for anyone who is ready to change their life. I have read several books on the LOA and watched several movies. I know the content very well but like most others I found it to be a little impractical. With these thirty exercises, they help to bridge the gap with practicing the LOA. I love that each exercise can be applied to each area of your life. There are so easy to do, yet they will have a profound impact on your life! I'm excited to implement these changes and I want to say thank you to Ms. Shapely. I appreciate this book!

Some 8 or 9 years ago, I started a blog about trying to change from a pessimist to an optimist. It honestly was meant to be humorous, tongue-in-cheek, a way to laugh at the ridiculous mishaps that seemed to always come my way. While writing said blog, I started reading a book on becoming an optimist, written by a psychologist, to do "exercises" for my blog. I needed material after all. But something unexpected happened. I realized how truly damaging my way of thinking actually was. I realized how quick I was to spiral out of control when one area of my life wasn't going well. (Come to think of it, I never wrote a review on that book, but I should, because I think it truly changed my life.) The lessons I learned in that book stuck with me and come into my mind every time I started repeating the patterns it taught you to try to avoid. Our thought patterns are taught to us by the time we're 7 years old (yay, we can pass the blame). But the unfortunate result of that is how difficult they are to change. But luckily, not completely impossible.

Enter this book. In December of last year, I wanted to make certain areas of my life a priority. I ordered this book and a journal/planner to hold myself accountable for my new habits. What initially attracted me to this book was that I wanted a game plan. Like the aforementioned book, I needed exercises and things I could actually put into practice. Before this book even came, I had been thinking a lot about what I wanted in a job. I'd been thinking about the type of company I wanted to work for, the type of work I wanted to do, the type of benefits I wanted, and the type of team I wanted to work with. In my mentioned planner I wrote, "create job with meaning." The hilarious thing is that before I had written that down and before my book arrived, the wheels had already started. I'd applied for a job that I'd get soon after that met every last one of the things I'd thought about.

I don't buy into every aspect of the law of attractions, but I do believe in like attracts like and that you really have to believe something is attainable and believe in yourself in order for it to happen. I think it's a valuable skill for focusing on the positive in your life and changing harmful thought patterns. The author of this book mentions that she used to have something like 90% negative thoughts before she started her journey. I think mine were probably that if not worse. They're prolly at 70% now, but hey, progress.

This book isn't perfect (she seriously needed an editor -- typos galore). But it has some good exercises to kick off or keep you going on your journey.

Really easy and informative read.

Much appreciation to the author for creating a concise guide to developing a daily LOA practice. I've studied LOA a long time and this is the first time I've been able to review various exercises all in one place to determine the best fit for my life. I appreciate the author candid discussion of her own personal practices. It really helps to know about the practical application of the LOA.

I finally read Ms Stapley's book from cover to cover on screen and:

I was not disappointed in any way by this beautiful toolbox of ideas and reality unifying secrets. I especially respect the realistic approach she takes in telling about real life applications.

Images in Kindle version don't show

This is a very practical guide with lots of practical exercises. Some of it focuses heavily on material things, and those exercises didn't really gel with me, but other exercises such as Gratitude, EFT, letter to the Universe resonated. I'm not blind to LOA-critics , particularly the risk of victim blaming, but I do think there are enough practical exercises here that can improve your life, even if you're not a believer. For most people, having a little more gratitude won't be a bad thing, but some of these exercises did give me a Very Hungry Caterpillar-feeling and as such contradicted the message of gratitude. But that's just my opinion.

The author referred to images that were supposed to be included in the book (I read it on Kindle, so this might not be an issue with the print-version), but they weren't there. She did give some suggestions for Google-searches, however, Googling is a bit cumbersome on a Kindle.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this and definitely picked up some new LOA-exercises to try.

Extremely helpful, informative and practical Law of Attraction book.

I really enjoyed reading this practical, informative Law of Attraction book. There are several practical exercises in the book that I have been using to help me succeed with my LOA. She even has great links in her book showing examples of the exercise a she describes. This is a book I am going to keep in my library to re-read for helpful tips and reminders.

Reinforces The Power Of LOA!

I got introduced to Law Of Attraction through Rhonda Bryne's book, 'The Secret'.
LOA is very powerful when combined with Belief, Practice & Persistence. It works for sure.
In this book, the author has prescribed 30 LOA exercises that are picked up from various LOA books.
For me, it was a reinforcement of the power and benefits of LOA.
Anyone who want to walk the path of positivity, then it is advisable to read & practice LOA.

No better...it could get. Its the best.

It explained the methods in most elaborate and interesting manner . Its one of the most honest book I founded. At last, its value is judged by how much you will be able to apply this in your life. Actually think about...that you are applying it in your life and you have an incredible success.

Very desapointed!

I didn't like it. It is a Bad copy of Ask and it is given. Exercises are better described in Abraham's book. In some of the Exercises, I had the feeling to be in a computer class. I gave 2 stars because the author achieved her goal: sell the book and earned the $10.000/month she put in her LOA dashboard.

Detailed - Doable & Achievable

For once an author has collected snippets from various exercises and binded them all together.

Appreciating the detailing in which cursor to cursor and video references are shared for convenience and adaptation.

Thank you for introducing us to this beautiful work!

Short and Concrete

I was always excited to read about LOA, So I found this book on this platform with decent reviews , it was everything I expected not too much nonsense all exercises mentioned properly just like how a guide book is structured. Would be a resourceful read for those who are open to reading Law of Attraction Books

Good book to re-read as a reminder of different ways to apply LOA into your life. Probably I know more methods than what’s available in this book, but it’s a GREAT start for a hungry beginner for the LOA.
