Catching up on manga I've been following. I thought I'd feel tired of this series by volume 4, it's literally just what the title says. Small episodes of life with a cat when the author gets home from work in the evening. But this was a pleasant, relaxing read; I think the artwork is also becoming more elaborate and dynamic (and depicting the gooeyness of a cat who's splat especially well, I think :) ), but I don't have the previous volumes at hand to compare.
I somehow missed that there is also an anime adaptation, that's probably why this series seems to be increasingly popular in my library? I've been ordering these volumes from my purchase requests, and I've been wondering if that's really the best use of them, but it was one of the first things I read from the latest batch of my library borrows and it was such a joy. I literally had a "hmm, what to read, what to read... oh THIS!!!" reaction when I pulled it out of my book bag. So I'll be definitely keeping this up. ____ Source of the book: Lawrence Public Library (my purchase request - thank you!)
Another sweet, gentle, and relatable collection of mini comics celebrating the endearing and sometimes baffling behavior of a big-eyed cat and his loving people.
An adorable and sweet manga about living with a cat, even one that’s technically not even yours.
Fuuta is a bit wary of his sister’s cat when they first move in, but Kyuruga quickly establishes Fuuta as their favorite human and P-chan as the “substitute human”.
This manga talks about all the fun things that happen living with a cat: ways to pet a cat, methods a cat uses to ask for attention, places cats love to sit, toys cats love to play with, and many more.
Anyone who loves cats will love this manga and those who ever wondered what living with a cat really is like.
