Santa Gifted Love

This was an Insta love story and despite it being a few pages and mostly wholesome I liked it!

Laylani is at a point in her life where she just wants to find love; her person. After some unfortunate changes in her life she is looking for comfort to move forward.
Alex whom is ex military is also ready for his one. He was intrigued by Laylani when he first saw her picture. Now years later he is in a place to pursue her. I love the pressure he applied.
Who knew a letter to Santa would help bring them together.

This was sweet, on theme, and a little unorthodox. I love that they took a chance on love and YES to the epilogue.

The epilogue ruined it for me! It felt so random to throw all of that at the end and it completely turned me off from the already confusing story. For somebody to go through all the romantics before ever actually knowing someone?! It's giving creep.

How it ended: 🎶 I feel like you were made just for me baby. Tell me if you feel the same way. Cause it just feels so right….🎶

Spending time with her 7 year old goddaughter, Laylani wrote a letter to Santa asking for the one thing she wanted most, love. As a successful toy store owner she has accomplished all she wants in life and is finally ready to settle down with Mr. Forever. Not realizing she had a bit of help from her best friend, Lay’s letter is “mailed off” and the magic of Christmas begins.

Alex is home from the military and has his life going exactly the way he wants it. He has been preparing his mind, heart and soul to give and receive the love of the right woman and thanks to a long time friend, he’s found his perfect match. Alex knew he had one shot to get this right and baby this man put in EFFORT!! He created the perfect scavenger hunt that led to the best gift of them all!

This was a really cute read and for a novella hit the spot for me. It was short yet well developed and gave the perfect dose of holiday cheer! A may have found a new author worth holding on two but a second read from her catalog will seal the deal.

Cutesy

This was a very adorable and lighthearted story. It most definitely had Christmas spirit and it was a breath of fresh air. Alexander is such an awesome man and what I admire about his character is he didn’t approach her until he knew he could love her how she deserved. Janice and Keith are also awesome friends because they made sure his intentions were pure before allowing him to take it there with their friend. Lay’s character was also very open and I like that. Overall this book was a good read.

Quit While You’re Ahead

Did I miss a chapter🤔⁉️ “Dear Santa: A Willow Cove Novelette (Willow Cove Series) had potential until …it didn’t🥴‼️ Skeptical, but I was advocated for Laylia & Alexander’s rapid scavenger holiday induction & romance journey success until the epilogue 🥴😲‼️Umm, “Dear Santa: A Willow Cove Novelette” Ms. Shaw you should have quite while you were ahead🤦🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️‼️After a congenital eight chapters, the readers hadn’t anticipated an alter ego erotic Alex. WTAH Santa🫣🥴⁉️

This was a super cutesy Christmas romance and the perfect little number to put you in the spirit. It was whimsical and charming. The MMc went all out to secure the attention and a date with the FMC and it was beautiful to watch. How cool would it be if Santa answered our letter with all the things you love best in the world.
