A Great Read
I enjoyed how quickly the story came together. Character development was thorough through the action. Once I started the book I read it straight through. I loo6forward to reading more about Clara Verona.

I have read many of this author’s books but The Deepest Cut is the best one yet! I read it in one day. Greenwood has a great storyline, tight editing, and a plot with a few surprises. Couldn’t put it down. I am a big fan and will anxiously look forward to book 2’s arrival.

A passionate story with a lot of attention to detail.
The Latin American cold war setting is done well, and a lot of attention is given to the nuanced perspectives of the era. The idea of including a disclosure page at the very end with the truths and half-truths of the time, and what creative liberties the author has taken, was really nice.
As a student of history myself, I can get behind more books like this.

I'm somewhat disappointed with this. I thought to be very good until the last 10% when it got a little ridiculous and soapy as well. Still might give Greenwood another try.

Nicely constructed plot. Well worth reading. Will be reading next in series.

A great read with plenty of action and twists to keep you wanting to get to the end. A good plot and characters that a realistic makes this a must read book.
