My Little Girl by Kitty Rose is my second ARC read of the year and it did not disappoint! This releases on February 21st so be sure to pick it up then and give it a read for yourself!
This is considered a dark romance so as usual, you’ll want to check out the trigger warnings before reading this one as it does have a few pretty heavy topics in it that are talked about on page and in detail. They do add quite a bit to the story and character development and are important to the plot.
I enjoyed all of the characters in this at the end but the FMC’s behavior did kind of drive me nuts until the end of the book where you get to learn more about why she acts the way that she does. The MMC is possessive and hot tempered and it is an age gap so he is much older than the FMC but he is likable. I also really enjoyed the more background characters and am glad that we got so much of them in the book and got to know them as well. They really added to the fun and adventure of it.
The relationship between the MCs is all over the place and difficult which makes it relatable for most people which is nice. Not all sunshine and rainbows and not a totally horrible abusive relationship either so it’s a nice middle ground. They go through a lot together but this is a HEA.
I really enjoyed reading this and look forward to reading more from @authorkittyrose in the future! I gave this book a 4/5⭐️ for the plot and characters and 4/5🌶️ for the many spicy scenes

Wow, just Wow
This book was just so beautifully written so raw with emotions, traumatic and heartbreaking, but also action-packed and comical, and the character dept was amazing.
Ava and Killian have a strong instant connection, with lots of suspense and tension that keeps you intrigued throughout.
They go through highs and lows, self-doubt, and very, very low self-worth.
Ava's struggles were just so heartgribbing. It broke my heart reading.
This book definitely pulls out a lot of emotions, so have your tissues ready..

Just enough detail to keep you intrigued! Love the emotions and dynamic between Killian and Ava! All in all this book is raw with emotions from the FMC!

this was my first book ever read by kitty and i have to say that it was incredible!! i loved how the depth of the connection between ava and killian was explored more and more with each page.

I enjoyed it! It got right into it, wasn’t slow to get into at all. I loved the side characters, especially the FMCs best friend who introduces her to smut. Killian was toxic but hey, we love a toxic book boyfriend. 😏

This book was a quick, easy read and was enjoyable overall. There are moments that are very dark and potentially triggering🚩. Struggling with mental health is a big part of this book, please do not read if that triggers you.
Avamarie’s inner thoughts about her size definitely hit home as a plus size girlie. The struggles she had with her mental health were also really relatable! My heart broke for her as she blamed herself for things beyond her control and it was so nice to see a doctor who helped her multiple times without judgement or comments on her weight.
I really enjoyed the chemistry between Arriana and Killian and cannot wait for her book! I love that this first book is size inclusive and the next one will be lgbt 🏳️🌈 inclusive 😍 I also hope we get to see more of Andrew!
This is not a slow burn book, the 🌶️ is almost immediate and continues throughout the book! It’s 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ from the beginning pages straight to the end! There are some darker intimate moments, again please check 🚩trigger warnings🚩 before reading!
My only complaint is the one guys name being Colon but honestly it makes me giggle that he’s a shit person 💩

The whirlwind of emotion that this book brings is insane. Physically, on the edge of my seat, most of the book and couldn't put it down. This one definitely hit me emotionally and mentally as I relate to Avamarie so much as I, too, deal with depression, body dismorphia, and anxiety.

This was my first book by Kitty and boy am I hooked! Kitty, I hope you know you're stuck with me now because wowzers!!!

Daddy Killian....he had no intentions on Ava being someone to completely change who he is or ever becoming "daddy" 😉
I absolutely loved the ups and downs that both Ava & Killian endured. Their relationship was no easy feat at all, but is was beautiful in the end! I felt such an incredible connection with Ava and this draws me into a story so much more. The self-doubts and low self- worth, I have definitely found myself on that side of things many of times, so making that connection with her was something I absolutely adored.
Now Arriana...she's unhinged, off the wall, but absolutely someone who I'd love to have in my life too!

I loved this book so much. I loved both main characters and enjoyed the supporting characters as well and cannot wait for the next book.
I found myself holding my breath a lot trying to help the characters make the right choices. Sometimes I was pleasantly surprised and sometimes I winced and shook my head.
Obviously check your TWs. There is some content that could be stressful, but I will always appreciate seeing characters go through situations that many people struggle with in real life and see them work through it. It’s not always pretty or comfortable, but sometimes to get through you just have to bare down and get to it and that is so relatable for a lot of people.
As always not liking a book doesn’t make it a bad book. That book just isn’t for you. Not finishing a book doesn’t mean you’re weak. Just means that book isn’t for you. Don’t be afraid to take a breather if you need it. Happy reading friends.

I’m so in love with this book. Kitty is a new to me author. My Little Girl also comes with a BIG list of trigger warnings. Let’s say I love going in blind and it’s soooo worth it! Talk about some kinks unlocked or at least catching my curiosity lol.
There was only one incident of the book that made me feel uncomfortable. It’s not something that you “traditionally” see on a TW list, but I know there can be some normal things that cause triggers or feelings.
I’m obsessed with Killian and his little girl. Such development and brutally broken characters. I can’t wait for the next book with our crazy lovely ladies.
10/10 recommended

After reading this book I will never not read something by Kitty Rose! Her writing is so captivating it had me hooked from the first page. Kitty is able to pull you in and make you feel like you're immersed in the story right along with the characters. This story had everything I needed, romance, bickering, touch her and..., funny and interesting side characters that leaves me wanting their stories, it had some heavy that made me want to cry and light and funny that made me giggle.
I can't express enough how much I thoroughly enjoyed this book though it definitely blurred my perception of red and green flags 🤣 cause like Killian was just so sweet

This was my first Kitty Rose book and I really really enjoyed it.
It is a DARK romance so please do check the TW before you dive into this amazing book. It’s dark and tackles some heavy topics, so prepare yourself.
Kitty really did capture my attention from the very first page right up till the last page.
I loved both the main characters and how with each page you follow their relationship go through ups and downs. Their relationship was not easy at all but watching them figure it out together and seeing it blossom and end on a beautiful note was amazing
It was nice to see how kitty portrayed the FMC and her struggles in life and it made me really connect with the character
I really really enjoyed this book and would really recommend it!

This was my first book by Kitty, and I loved it! The dynamic between Killian and Avamarie is everything you could want from the main characters. It is dark, twisty, and filled with many instances of him making sure she knows her worth, even when she doubts it herself. This book may not be for everybody, so make sure to read those trigger warnings. With that being said, I found the story to be captivating. The light Kitty sheds on mental health issues (as well as addressing them) and normalizing all body types is phenomenal. Can't wait to read the next book in this series!

5 star read! I absolutely devoured this book in a very short amount of time. I won’t lie when I first read the trigger warnings I was a little apprehensive on if I could handle it. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it wasn’t as dark as I thought it was going to be. I thought it was perfectly steamy and I loved all the characters. This was super well written and had a decent plot to boot. Will definitely be reading more from this author.

Definitely check your trigger warnings!!!!! But this story was so so so good. From the beginning it had me hooked in a way that I definitely did not expect. The unaliving scene was a first for me. I wasn’t sure how that made me feel, but then slowly but surely I started to fall for Killian. He is definitely the definition of touch my girl and die. Overall great book and great story. Can’t wait for the second book.

This story follows Avamarie who gets a random message and decided to message back not knowing what she just invited into her life. Killian is a huge cinnamon roll but can be the meanest person on the planet if need be. Avamarie is a kind and timid person that wants to help everyone. They compliment each other so well and had me binge reading this book till late at night. I love how he protected her and how possessive he was over her. The spice in this book is just right and I love it. I definitely recommend

Killian is so morally grey that at times I was questioning myself because I was swooning over him. And his dirty mouth omg I loved it.

This book tackled heavy and uncomfortable topics, but the way the story was woven together was captivating. It left me wanting more, not just of the story, but of the world and the characters.
Speaking of characters, I have to mention how well they were developed. Each one had their own unique personalities and flaws that made them feel so real.
What stood out the most for me was the writing style. The author has a way with words that made me feel like I was a part of the story. The dark and gritty atmosphere was portrayed with such depth and detail, I could vividly imagine each scene.

This was the first book I’ve read from this author and oh my god I will be binging all her past and upcoming books!!
Killian and Avamarie have been living rent free IN MY HEAD since I started reading the book🥵. The authors writing was amazing and every time I had to put the book down, I couldn’t wait to pick it back up ‼️‼️

Freaking fantastic!!!! I was worried at first. When I read the CW. I’d never read any books with some of these. But my goodness it was treated with dignity, respect and a whole lot of heart!!!! This book was phenomenal. It has you hooked from the very beginning. It does contain heavy topics so definitely check trigger warnings and prioritize your mental health above all else.
That being said, this story was beautifully written & a heart jerker. It was fast paced and surprising and to watch both characters grow and learn and heal because of the other without knowing it was beautiful. I’d read this a million times if I could.

This book was my first by Kitty and holy... She instantly became a one click author for me! This book was DARK but also so uplifting and sweet! The red flags were flying and it still felt okay?!
Please check your TW in the beginning as it deals with heavy topics, but Kitty does it in a beautiful way. I was hooked from the start. I even dragged out finishing it because I wasn't ready for it to end!

I appreciate that the trigger warnings accurately match what happens in the book. This book brought up many emotions for me, some of them bigger emotions than I anticipated, but it was great read because of this. I imagine many people will be able to resonate with parts of this book.

This book wasn't as dark as some of the other books I've read but there are still things that people should take care and consider before reading this book. That being said I absolutely loved Killian and Ava's story. Ava and Killian's relationship by no means is a healthy one but they work and their chemistry is hot.

Absolutely devoured this book and couldn’t put it down. Ava and killian are absolutely 🔥! Obsessed with how obsessed he is with her. The spice is top notch and it touches on some interesting subjects in mental health and self image. I enjoyed this book a lot. Highly recommend.

Oh my dear sweet baby Jesus!! This book is hands down amazing!! Keeps you want to read it but also you want to slow down from reading it so it isn't over sooooo soon.

This is my first book I’ve read by Kitty Rose and it definitely won’t be my last. I enjoyed every bit of this book. The story line was different from anything I’ve read. I enjoyed that the characters touched on real life issues, makes them seem more real. I love the dynamic between Killian and Ava. I also loved that Ava was a true plus size FMC with a super hot MMC boyfriend.
