Her dragon has emerged. The four princes can’t control her. A war brewing between Dragaal and the rejected.

Kaida is a Plasma Dragon and can’t seem to control its power. With her randomly shifting and causing havoc throughout the island, Kaida isn’t sure if she is safe around anyone. Beckett, Arlo, and Esen do their best to find the solution to taming her dragon before it kills someone and alerts the king to what kind of dragon she is and how her power is a contender for the throne.

The cons of her being a Plasma dragon escalate when Enzo returns to the island to talk to Kaida. Between the Elemental Princes, the Prince of Dragaal’s return and possible report back to the king, and her dragon bowing to no one… Kaida isn’t sure how she is going to survive.

Will Enzo keep her secret? Will the Elemental Princes all come around to be at Kaida’s side? Or will the King march his army to the Lands of the Outcasted and set fire to her new world?

If the first book is good, the second is amazing. Kenzie takes the story to another height in terms of story development, such as character characterization.
With each chapter, he loves Kaida more and more and how she slowly discovers how powerful she can be. From the first book he loved Beckett and I still do. I loved the development of Kaida's relationship with Arlo and Esen, although I love that the actions they had with Kaida in the first book were not without consequences and what can I say about Blaze, I think Kaida gave him what he deserved.
I loved how this book expanded more on the Plasma Dragon and also the Dark Dimension.
Kaida's friendship with the rest of the girl, spectacular. I can't wait to read each of her stories.
This book is fantastic and I can't wait to read the last one.

DNF

Couldn’t finish. Too boring. A shame because it had a good idea to start with. Book one was a struggle to get through at times but over all decent. This one I got about 60% before I quit. Terrible character development and just snoozy

story good but…

Spoilers

To me the plot is good and that is what has kept me reading but all the characters, to me, seem to react weirdly to many of the scenarios. For example, Blaze literally tries to kill the FMC twice and everyone is just like “oh it’s just Blaze he is a hot head”. Even her mate is like barely upset because “they are best friends”. She seems “upset” but chooses to still live with and be around him?! But then later her dragon shifts after and other dragon shifts to attack her friend and doesn’t attack the other dragon, just intimidates it till they go away and she full on chastises her dragon. So dude almost kills her twice seemed to get less crap than her own dragon who just was protecting her friend. It’s bizarre and she still wants Blaze as a mate, even though he is still a complete douche! Being a bully or mean is one thing but he straight up said he wants her gone and admits to trying to kill her and she and the other mates just aren’t doing anything about it and still letting him around her? Then they all kind of get on her for being “aggressive” later in the book, but again several of them were good with murdering her earlier in the book. I want to find out what happens next in the plot but I am so confused by their actions half the time it puts me off. Not sure I will read next book.

One or two inconsistencies, but an enjoyable story!

There's maybe a couple of inconsistencies in this story. (Example: Someone had notified the main land that Kaida's dragon emerged, but no one knew what kind. A little bit later, it says that they heard she was a Plasma dragon.) I noticed another one, but maybe no one else will notice it, it's a somewhat small thing anyway, so I won't bother mentioning it.

Considering that's the biggest issue I noticed, this book is good! It's a bit quicker paced than the previous book since everything was laid out, so it was able to get to the main plot. A war on the horizon, a dark dimension threatening to take over, hesitant or outright stubborn mates not wanting to mate... you know, all that good stuff.

I'm excited to hop into the third book!

There's going to be series after this one involving each of the friends Kaida made (seemingly starting with Remy, according to the blurb on Amazon), but I hope most things are resolved in this series so I don't have to wait to read all of the others!

The story moves quickly and kept my attention throughout.
Filled with a few revelations, new threats and the Dark Demension.
There was action and suspense, humor, drama, and spice.

We learn more about Kaida and her dragon. We also get to see her learning how to use her magic.

The relationships between Kaida and each of the guys change. I don't want to give away spoilers, so I won't go into detail. I will say this, we do see certain characters return again.

I think this was a great addition to the series. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Amazing!

This is the second book in The Dragon's Throne series and once again I was hooked from start to finish. Kenzie Graves does such an amazing job of drawing you into this world. I love the characters and how unique they are. Kaida and her men have such great chemistry and her best friends are amazing. There is action, spice and plot twists. I can't wait for book three!

This book is great also it is a good continuation of the first one. Kaida is learning her magic and control of her dragon while the Dark Dimension is threatening their island. Blaze is still a jerk but her other mates are great at supporting her. Then throw Enzo in the mix…you have to read to see what happens there. This ends on another cliffhanger so I’m onto next book for the conclusion now.

P.s. Beckett is still my favorite but Arlo has some game

Better than book 1

Better than the first. I enjoyed it.
Spoilers probably

Didn't feel as rushed.
Book 2 gave me more of the girls and I loved it. Their friendship is gold. Especially how they are/were/still are? all top dogs in their own kingdoms. Can't wait to read more about them. Her mates in the other hand, I could still care less about and are something to be desired 🙄. Still hate Blaze

Wow, what a read. This book is a must read, no doubt about it. It moves along at a pace that makes for a very enjoyable read and is perfect for the flow of the story. The characters are amazing and no matter what happens you cannot help but love them. This book is a must read and it needs to be on your TBR list. You will not be sorry that you did.
