Liam Hallows was a beast that everyone feared, ruthless, and filled with anger. He was born to torment his oppressors and hates the word mate or love. His ideal type is a one-night stand, fvcks and never to be heard of again.
What happens when Liam had a one-night stand with a girl who he accidentally imprinted on, a mistake he dreads his entire life?
Nicole Mallory, the perfect luna who was loved and adored by all except her mate. She was forced to watch her mate have sex with different omegas as a punishment for being given to him as a source to pay her parent's debts.
Too much pain and agony had her drinking in the bar and ending up in bed with a total stranger who wanted her but he was the same, exactly like his mate.
Would Liam be able to win the heart of the girl he imprinted on or would she be able to tame the beast that is ready to devour her?
A bit more of a dark romance book than others I've read, but I enjoyed the story and was genuinely so upset and frustrated about them not accepting just being with each other. GOD JUST ACCEPT IT. But I also quite liked that it's not just an oh we're instantly in love story as well.
So, the plot is ok. The grammar and spelling errors were ATROCIOUS! Whoever wrote this book, must have self published it. If there was an editor, they should be fired! I spent more time correcting grammar and spelling errors, than reading the book! Not worth the amount of money that is being charged. It should have been free. Plus, for the cost it is only 38 FLIPPING chapters! Waste of money and time.
There is much about this book that leaves me wanting. The plot is full of holes. The random drama that pops up suddenly. The talk about the pack being the strongest yet silly rumors put it to ruins. The relationship with Nicole and Liam makes little sense, especially considering Nicole relates Liam’s treatment as similar to her former abusive mate. I love shifter novels, but this one just has too much going on to cover all the tropes.

The story line is pretty good, the editing is atrocious. It reads like the first draft of a book, that the author or an editor never went back to correct the grammar, flow or spelling on. MFC starts out as a faux Luna of a pack, where the alpha tortured her physically, mentally, emotionally & she gets drunk, ends up with a mystery man that turns out to be a secretly visiting Alpha of another pack. He pays for her, takes her home thinking his attraction to her is physical & nothing more, but falls for her. First, though he's really stupid, acts like an arrogant a55 & drives her away. Then there's an ancient witch, pack & family dynamics, kidnapping, illicit drugs, treason......& it drops off like the author just cut her original word document in half in the middle of the story....continuing in book 2. I kept reading for the story line, but like I said EDITING it's a thing, especially for "published" books.
This book was so poorly written. I could see that the author was trying to do some kind of dual POV, but it was very confusing to follow. The plot was decent but nothing I would remember long term. There were SO MANY spelling and grammar errors I’m not sure if it was on purpose or what, but it drove me NUTS. The main character’s name was spelled differently like 4 different times, and there were several minor spelling errors that don’t necessarily affect the book, but they were definitely a distraction.
The ending of the book? Horrible. We’ve been dealing with the witches for almost half the book so one would think the ending might have something to do with it, but no. The end wasn’t happy, or sad, or cliffhanger-like, it felt very incomplete.

Good storyline. I'm not sure if this has been translated or just not checked, but the simple spelling and grammar mistakes are so frustrating. It's also irritating that the books are full price when there is clearly no proof reading by the publishers.
The storyline is what keeps you hooked despite all of this. Poor, beaten, gorgeous omega meets handsome, powerful alpha. Both fall in love, and both refuse to accept it. Add territory fights, other people interfering in the lovers' lives, and, of course, the obligatory kidnap and near death of a main character always makes for a good read!
Has the potential to be a good story. Very poorly edited, if it was edited at all. I’m sure most of the main characters are Bipolar. The writing is contradicting from paragraph to paragraph. Disappointing to have payed $7.41AU for something this badly written. Would like to actually find out how it all ends, but not for the price being asked * Note to Author put it on KU
It started really well, exciting, characters to like and hate. Then...... It just stalled.... It became quite boring and not really going anywhere. It ended quite bizarrely, as if the author just chopped the book up randomly to make three separate books. I haven't decided if I want to buy the next book in the series..... It's a shame it started so well.
This story has it all ,cruelty, lust ,longing, anticipation. It was a very captivating read. The ending was not what I expected. I need to find the follow up book to quench my curiosity as to where it will lead Nicole and Liam.
The plot is good, well it could be good if someone paid attention grammar. The editing is atrocious. Indiscriminately use he and she incorrectly to the point you have to decide who they’re referring to. Lots of misspellings.
This had me in a choke hold story wise. However, there were a lot of mistakes, and the story jumped around or left parts out. I could overlook them, though, because the story was excellent.
Sad because the story had the potential to be great. The plot was decent. It started out well with characters to both like and hate that it’s stalled. There was so much filter nonsense and a lot of contradiction from paragraph to paragraph. The grammar and spelling errors were absolutely HORRENDOUS.
