WOW!!!
Thank goodness I read one of his other books, so I felt somewhat prepared
These boys were brutal. However, I was laughing at certain scenes. How can this be so bloody and yet so funny, i was cracking up. This book made some good commentary on racism but in sick and twisted ways. They weren't heros, only in their mind.
Rashad - This man is the most delusional out of the four. In his mind, he thinks he is not a psychopath , but a black warrior fighting back the wrongs of his people 200 years ago.
Big Mike - I commend him for not being a cheater and a rapist because he promised his wife. However, he is a brutal murderer who was the most honest one out of the four because he just likes killing, and he just can't hide it.
Mooky- This man was so funny that I almost forgot. He was brutally killing these people in cold blood. He seemed to be that friend who couldn't keep a secret, which is shocking that he haven't gotten them in problems yet.
Steve - At the beginning of this book, I actually thought steve was a cool guy, but he had blinding deadly hatred, especially at the end.
What made this book so great? Is something that happened close to the end that gave this group more justification in killing the last victims. It was a wild ride. I literally paused reading and was still thinking about it.
The victim's monologue and internal monologue while being brutally murdered are so hilarious and yet touching. Thank goodness I never felt emotionally attached to the victims even tho everyone had individual personalities.
The sad, crazy part is I still liked these 4 men.
The author notes with quotes about the destruction of violence and hatred stayed with me
