Because it’s a ‘best of’ for the year, the stories might seem mismatched as the calls for submission were quite varied - both by theme and length. Stories ranged from good, clever, excellent, to the ridiculous.
Overall, it’s a decent anthology, and though probably not one of Black Hare Press’ best, it’s a good length so I feel you get value for money. I found this one hard to rate because there were so many stories I loved, and it seemed like an equal number I disliked, so I’m gonna go with 3 1/2.

*Disclaimer: I have a short story in this anthology.

I wrote a story for this one! It wasn't the best story, or the smartest, or the funniest, or the scariest, but... uh... um... check it out!

It's fun to read this a few stories at a time. Many I remember from when they were posted online. My favourite series was the Lemmings. And my favourite story was The Hike by Leigh Kenny. My story is on page 131 "Fluid Illustration" Not my favourite. But different.
