I enjoyed the read. There were "aha" moments of inspiration as he shared his walk and scripture. I believe the book is timely in that our churches seem to be overflowing with church goers who view the Bible as a source for good behavior and life lessons, but render it powerless in terms of faith and prayer. God IS the same yesterday, today and forever.

Mr. Thomas shares how God showed him that being stressed out or worried is really a lack of faith and further that making our plans without seeking Him first, is really living of this world and not living in faith.

I believe his book to be honest and encouraging. Go out and impact your world as the salt and light you were called to be.

What I liked most about this book is the way the author makes connections between classic Bible stories and our own lives. I enjoyed getting another person's perspective on how these real people and events can be applicable today thousands of years later.

I took away one star because the first section of the book had some layout/graphic problems. Some of the pages were light and a little hard to read.

One to read again.

I gave this book 5 stars because I believe it makes very important material understandable. Keeping it simple is a real skill. The chapter in God's Word was a revelation for me. I would recommend this to anyone because I believe it is for everyone.
