Choosing to return to Treepoint during the Christmas season, Megan Smith knew the small town in Kentucky like the back of her hand. While the town might be full of Christmas spirit and joy to the world, none of it would be extended to her. They may consider her a “bad penny,” but Megan isn’t going to let that prevent her from staying nor fulfilling the promises she made to herself. What she didn’t take into consideration was Cole.

Visiting friends in the area, he shows the spirit of Christmas in every smile, the joy of living with every glint in his eyes, and his “Fa-la-la” is nothing to sneeze at, either. Cole may be hotter than a hot toddy, but Megan hasn’t come back to Treepoint to find someone to snuggle up with in front of a fireplace, build snowmen with, or find the true meaning of Christmas.

Yet that is exactly what she gets. Together, Cole and the town show her that not all of what you see is real, and only by giving of herself will she have the power to let go of the past.

Loved this!!! How wonderful to have a story for Megan, and Cole❤️ I’m glad this one’s in my library, definitely a keeper❤️
They’re both people I’d be friends with too!! She definitely needs someone like Cole, with strength and overload of sweetness to help her battle her demons!!!

Kinda funny that Megan & crotchety Marty had a friendship!
If I were her I absolutely believe that The Last Riders would want to punish/kill me too!! Yet was floored by everything Viper told Cole😳😲🤐 and then even more shocking what was said between Megan & Chelsea 🙁😶🫢💔

Megan frowned. “I don’t understand.”
“I know you don’t,” he said softly. “But I promise you, you will.” His hand went behind her neck to pull her down for a passionate kiss.”⭐️🩵⭐️
💚⭐️💚 “Why are you awake?” she murmured in a groggy voice.
“I wasn’t finished loving you.”
Megan buried her face in the covers. “I’m sleeping.”
Cole grinned, rolling her onto her back. Then, pulling the cover down, he stared into wide-awake eyes. “What are you doing awake?”
Her body melted into his, her thighs going around his hips. “I guess I wasn’t done loving you either.” 💚⭐️💚

As always, I’m amused with certain parts:

Nothing spectacular. We get reintroduced to two past characters. Megan and sweet Cole. Back in a Predator's MC book Greer healed Cole from a brain injury which started Greer's health decline. Cole really is a sweet character, and I wish he would have got a longer book. Megan was a tad annoying with all her self hatred, but did deserve a second chance. Honestly, I'm really disliking all the newest FMCs. I much prefer JB's older books though unsafe AF. 😆Here the LR's make an appearance along with Greer still recovering from a stroke.

Beautiful

This was a beautiful book to read cole and Megan were ment to be together I had wondered about her after all this time the heartbreak she had endured but somehow she survived they both did it mead me cry with what she had to go through the memorial had me crying they all came to her side to show her that she was worth so much more then she thought of herself just beautiful

I've decided to make this review short and sweet, due to it being a novella and me not wanting to spoil any future readers. So with that being said, let's get started.

In My Own Words:

Megan Smith isn't new to Treepoint, and she isn't new to the Last Riders MC. But after a traumatic episode and years of therapy, Megan is back in Treepoint ready to make amends and apologies towards those she feels she wronged. She's let her fear hold her back, and she'll do everything in her power to see her past wrongs are made right.

My Thoughts:

A Treepoint Christmas was the perfect novella to get any motorcycle club romance reader in the holiday mood! This novella takes us on a journey of redemption through Megan's eyes. My heart broke for this woman for all that she went through and had continued to put herself through. I loved seeing her find true love in its finest form.

My heart warmed with Megan and Cole's story. My only issue, and this happens to be the issue with most novellas I read.... I wanted more! I wasn't ready to close the book on these two. I loved how gentle and tender this romance novel felt. My heart felt all the feels throughout this one.

I'm looking forward to reading Moon's story next! That snippet at the end of A Treepoint Christmas has me immediately wanting to get my hands on this bad boy!! I can't wait!

I've been waiting for coles book forever.

Wanting to know the kind of man he's become etc.

Quite a lot of questions still:

Where did he get the money to buy all his boats?

Is he still in the destructors mc?

Why does he live in california - where his boats are if the destructirs are in Jamestown?

Why did he move to california, was it because kaden lives there?

So to the story, I would have liked dual pov and a longer book obviously.

I dont get the insta love Cole had for Megan.

Megan's character was so well written. I feel I was short changed on Cole whom we didn't get that much of. I guess I need to read it a few more times to see what i missed.

Overall a simple straight forward love story. Not jb's usual naughty style. Shame. No sex at all. They had it, just no details really.

I always want more from jbs books esp these novellas which frankly are annoying af, same as Jonas, hammer n Mika's book, way too short in the 3 story book. Didnt do the 3 of them justice and neither does this. Its like an appetiser, not the main course so I'm left starving for more.

But I can still appreciate a good appetiser and as such loved this book even though it left me wanting.

A nice Xmas surprise from jb but I would have rather her wait and give us a full Cole book.

And gutted, absolutely gutted about greer one of my fav characters!!!

Everyone had eagerly been anticipating the story about Cole. After he was healed by Greer we just wanted to know him.
I for some reason thought it would be different. Don't get me wrong I liked Cole but he just seemed to nice. Not that I thought he would turn into a bad boy but at least a bit of an alpha male.
Sadly I don't remember Megan to much. I vaguely remember who she is and if there hadn't been flash backs as to what happened I wouldn't have remembered her at all.
I do love how all of the town embraced her and didn't blame her for the mistakes she made when she was so young.
As always this author gives us a good story. On a side note Chelsea was a bitch and for her to act like she is so much better than Megan irked me. Then when she shows up at the funeral like all is forgiven, nope. I wouldn't be that easy on her.

It was not as good as her other books but I liked that the hero was decent in this one unlike some other books in which heroes grow on to you. Cole was different. I have always wanted to read about him more since Greer fixed him. But his story was lacking. The heroine, Megan, was an okay character. I don't remember her from the last books. I did like the appearance of other characters. One extra stars is for them. Glad to see Greer on the way to recovery. I am really eager to read more about Coleman and Potter's. Hopefully we will get to read about both families in Coleman series since they are related and are cousins. And hopefully Knox will come up with a solution on how to get Greer back to his job. I liked the input Megan gave him about Greer.

I am really like Silas among all the Coleman's as of now. My fav characters are Potters hands down.

Bruh this left me so emotional

Lemme tell you about the tears I cried. The pile of tissues beside me. How only one nostril works right now. Puffy. I’m still leaking. There’s little dots of saline clinging to my Lashes.
Predicting the book hangover now. I’m calling it. This is very romantic. With an overtone of past tragedy. The inability to forgive oneself really is a universal angst we can all relate to. This goes story goes deep into this common wound and shared bond.
The story packs a punch. The author deserves all the accolades. The talent is larger than life. Bravo. Take a bow. Clap clap clap clap.
This is so good. Read it.

outstanding

I think I spent the entire time reading this story crying my eyes out. This story hit me hard. The injustice done to a fourteen yr old girl and that she still carried the burden of a bad decision so long. Highly recommend this book especially if you are a Fan of the Lost Riders MC series. The Characters I fell in love with years ago remain dear to my heart. I hope the second generation grows fast and more stories are coming. This one was just outstanding. Enjoy. HEA, no cheating, no cliffhanger (just a glimpse at Moon history.

Special treat, it's been awhile since the last release from this Author. So this is an unexpected novella just in time for Christmas.

Megan hasn't been back to Treepoint since she lost her baby and Almost killed Vipers in tge wake of her mental break.

She has returned so she doesn't have to keep looking over her shoulder.

Cole, couldn't be any sweeter I just wanted to hug him. The Last Riders ask him to keep an eye on her. He falls fast and hard. Can to people with broken pasts find happiness? Read it and find out.

OMG Greer, no!

Still dislike Viper, especially for Winter.

What happened with Marty?

I wondered what happened to Cole, he was such a great person and his mother caused his adulthood to be cut with brain damage at young age until Greer gave him his life back at a great cost to himself. Love Greer. Now on a visit he finds love with someone from a Winter and Jo's traumatic past. Only to having her own traumatized past revealed. I didn't even notice I was crying about such loss...
And, then reading the prologue to the next book, Moon's promise...my tears soaked my pillow!!😢

I love Megan and Cole, great chemistry. This is a turn that frowns upside down story. Life has not been easy for Megan at all, parents are jerk and her husband was a piece of work, a real scum bag. There hasn’t been anyone on her side except Winter. If you only have one member of Last Rider on your side, that’s all you need. They saw she wasn’t in the right state of mind due to absolutely no support from her parents or husband. It takes Cole to show her she’s worthy.

Jamie always kills it

Jamie Begley never disappoints with her books. Even one that was a surprise release for Christmas. The story of Megan and Cole was short compared to the others written by Jamie but it was filled with what I’m used to from her books. It was a redemption for Megan and we got to learn just how strong she was. I was left a sobbing mess in a good way! Jamie always kills it!

There is nothing like reading a Jamie Begley book that brings out all the feels .

I adored this book so much 🙏 my poor heart has shed so many tears while reading it I gave myself a headache.

Megan went through hell and Cole was destined to be the man to help bring her back from Rock bottom.

It was good to catch up with some of the members from tree point I absolutely love The Last Riders MC series by Jamie Begley its one of My all-time favorite series ❤️

Cole & Megan
Megan isnt new to treepoint, but she feels like noone will welcome her because of a mental breakdown from loosing a newborn. the only person that ever seemed to have her back was Winter, and during her nervous breakdown she stole Winters baby. she attempts to go to the clubhouse to make amends.
Cole has his eye on Megan, and has to fight to make her see that he really wants to have a relationship with her

Beautiful and rich in substance!

This book is recommended for anyone who enjoys a tender and forgiving tale of self discovery. Megan was looking for self redemption but instead found self enlightenment. Our heroine is surrounded by Treepoint's finest and sneak in a little love interest, bam Jamie does it again, I'm balling my eyes out. I know Christmas is over, but this a universal time of year book. So, strip up and give this little gem a go.

I read this book all in 1 night and i cried for nearly all of the book i am so happy Jamie gave Megan and Cole their Hea getting a bit worried over Greer though hope he gets back to his normal self soon in future books and im so looking forward to Moons Book next .Love Treepoint and all its residents .

Past Mistakes

Megan returns to Treepoint to atone for past mistakes, never expecting to meet a sweet and gorgeous man her first day back. Cole is taken with Megan immediately and goes about winning her over while try to help her deal with her past in this wonderful emotional tale.

This book gives all the feels! There was angst, sorrow, anger, fear, love, family, friendship, forgiveness and most of all a future for our characters.

Megan and Cole’s story was honest, raw, and beautiful!

One of the editors for this story suggested that I read this story because of my commitment to reading only Christmas themed stories in December. I was a few days late for December, but still enjoyed this Christmas story. Cute story, great/fun characters. I really enjoyed the ending. It put a smile to my face.

BEAUTIFUL STORY

What a pleasure to read about so many (ok…all) of my favorite characters from Viper to the Coleman’s. I’ve missed them all. Megan deserved an HEA and Cole was the perfect man to give her that. After such a horrendous life from fourteen years old she needed the love he had for her. I just wish we could have heard from Reaper too!

A short but enjoyable Christmas story about a couple of characters that have featured in previous 'Last Riders' stories. I'm so glad that these two characters that had been through so much in their lives got to have this emotional and healing story. Megan and Cole's story is a great edition to this series and if you haven't read the previous books I highly recommend that you do!!!

Back in Treepoint and I am so happy! Loved this book; it brought me to tears. Megan finally healed and found love at the same time. The scene with the service for her daughter was so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. It was also great to see Cole again. He also deserved a happy ending 🤎.

Megan & Cole

Cole and Megan's past brought me to tears. If any two people deserve a happily ever after its definitely these two. I'm so happy the Last Riders are so understanding and still looking out for Megan. I cried a lot throughout their story as it was so well written.
