A sexy, laugh out loud, fantasy rom-com! The goddess of justice seeks to save her only child from the vicious fate put on her by none other than the king of the gods and the child's father, but she is gonna need a little help. Too bad the powerful but imprisoned god doesn't remember who he is. But it's not too bad that he's super hot, sexy, and the goddess may have been without proper loving for a while, even from her ex-husband, Zeus. This story is so much fun! RA Winter does a fantastic job of making mythical deities and creatures relatable and awe-inspiring at the same time. You'll thoroughly enjoy the witty banter, awkward and comical situations, and the spicy, steamy, sexy romance factor.
What’s a mother to do when her ex-husband is a God among the Gods and passes a law that threatens her child. She walks through hell to save them. Themis is an enjoyable story about a Goddess who will go to any lengths to stop this injustice. But with emotional entanglements hindering her path, Themis finds more than she bargained for when she attempts to halt what Zeus has decreed. The author did a good job creating a world fraught with danger and as fun as Hades. A 4-star read.
I went into this completely blind. This book was recommended to me, and I'm so happy that it was. I was thoroughly confused for the first half of the book....but the FMC was also confused, so I don't feel too bad about that.
I really like the world building here. There are a lot of moving parts, and it all came together so well. The settings were described beautifully, and I had no trouble visualizing each one. I'm excited to read the rest of the series and find out what happens!
This is My first time reading her book I love the characters in the book n how I couldn’t stop reading I love the character Themis she was n I love the twist so far in this great book
Themis is a twisted tale set in Greek mythos. The characters are wonderfully written and the world building in Hades is well done. Themis is a fantastic character and I loved her growth throughout the book. I adore Greek Mythology so this book was right up my alley. I look forward to continuing the story in book two.
