Tracie Delaney writes billionaire romance where the men fall hard and the women make them work for it. Even though she has more than 35 novels published across many different series, Tracie still considers herself a reader first and foremost and loves fangirling over her favorite authors.
At night she likes to curl up on the sofa with her two furbabies, Murphy & Cooper, and binge-watch shows on Netflix. There may be wine involved.
Fabulous return to The Rogues world, reading Engulfed felt a bit like coming home!
Told from multiple characters POV, the Rogues, the incredible women they fell in love with and their families, get together for Christmas to celebrate the opening of their new and first Boutique Hotel. A Christmas none of them would ever forget.
How can I describe what you'll get? Firstly, emotion from one end of the scale to the other, that will have you swooning, chuckling, then biting your nails desperate to find out what happens next. Then there's tension, shocks, suspense, twists, love, steam, strong bonds, healing, happiness and a good look at what their futures will be now they've all found their soul mates. Damn those women are incredible, especially Catriona, the woman's a Saint lol. Was that really a vulnerable moment Garen? Now you need to to read it to see if thats really true 😜
I loved reading all the ROGUES series books and this final book does not disappoint. There was romance, intrigue, some sadness, and a hot PI (Draven needs to pop up in other books or have a book for himself).
This book focuses on a devastating fire at the new ROGUES boutique hotel. Who is the culprit, but more importantly, who was the target? All the ROGUES were there with their families. The story is told mostly by Ryker and Garen (and their wives). The twists and turns will keep you riveted and wondering who? Who would do this? The other trials some of the couples face are heart-wrenching pre-mature labor scare for Harlow, severe burns for Oliver, Garen and Catriona facing fertility issues, and Garen feeling responsible for the fire.
Another fantastic read! I highly recommend this book.
Engulfed is the seventh and final book in the ROGUES series. After meeting all six couples separately, we got this final bonus book featuring all six together. It was nice to have a story with the six finally, but I miss having more of Upton and Sebastian. Both of them are two of my favorites, and we never get much of them.
The book is mainly narrated by Ryker, Garret, Athena, and Catriona, so those two couples get the most out of the story. However, we see much more of Elliot and Oliver because they are in NYC, too. In my opinion, the story would have been better if we had gotten a little of the six boys. They could have told the story from their different points of view, and it would have been amazing to have a whole book narrated by the six ROGUES.
Either way, it was a good book and the perfect way to close this series and see where they are after so many years. It's always good to glimpse their lives post-book because when you spend so much time inside a series, you don't want to part ways so abruptly.
Ever wonder what hoppers when the whole family get together. Well this time it’s not all sunshine and roses that’s for sure. They all come together for Christmas at the new hotel that has been built. Disaster strikes and everyone is tested to their limits. We now have a mystery on our hands as we try and work out who done it…They enlist PI Draven goes all out to get the job done. I have to say I absolutely loved this book and this whole series and if you want to read about smokin hot , brooding , protective alphas and sassy as heck , brave women then this is the series for you. What a fabulous end to the Rogues and I’m pleased I got to revisit them.
This is the book I didn't realise I needed in my life. We are revisiting the gorgeous, hard bitten, men of the ROGUES series and the women who brought them, one by one, to their knees. The couples are scattered across the globe keeping all the arms of the ROGUES empire afloat. It's nearly Christmas and they are all heading to the new hotel Garen built, to spend a few precious days together as a family. It is obvious the one of the couples is struggling but are unwilling to spoil the occasion by sharing their problems, and no one is sure how to approach them to try and help. A devastating incident puts all of them in horrific danger, some of their lives will never be the same again. While investigating what caused the tragedy everyone slowly goes back to their lives but Ryker and Elliot contact a man to look into what happened. This is the point at which a much loved character, from previous book, has a "walk on" part in the story and works to finally solve the mystery behind the act that changed the lives of these amazing group of men and women. Tracie has out done herself with this book. I have loved everything she has written but I think this may be my new favourite, helped in no small way by the "walk on". I read this in one day but have to say I had to put it down and walk away a couple of times to steady myself. For a book that was never going to be written, it is amazing and it would have been a tragedy in itself if Tracie hadn't revisited this series and rounded it off so spectacularly. The people in this series are well worth visiting in their own right and can all be met in the Rogues series, so go grab them and introduce yourself to these amazing men and women while you wait for Engulfed. You won't be sorry!!!
A Christmas get together for all the Rogues family in the newly built Boutique hotel which is Garen’s baby, ends in disaster when it catches fire & is totally gutted. Luckily the whole family survives including all the babies, but nobody knows what caused the fire. The police have drawn a blank. A PI none other than Draven is brought in to try & get to the bottom of it. This book has everything. Drama , crime, family loyalty but mainly togetherness. A great read that I absolutely loved, being back with The Rogues.
Just when we were all settled and each couple had their HEA.. It’s funny, I went back and read my review for book 6 and it said something along the lines of, we needed more, an update on each couple. Well, I got just that. Now, we had to stress first, but we got it. I love this series and hate this is it.
You definitely need to read these in order and read them all. Love the banter between all the ROGUES and the chemistry with all the couples. So good!
Where to start on my review of Engulfed, is a hard one. I just don’t know if I have the words to do this book the justice it deserves. I can say though that I loved it, and it had so much emotion, so much emotion. Just grab this Rouge read even if you’ve never grabbed another, as this is one book from 2023 that you need to read. P.S. Mind have tissues to hand, they’ll be needed.
I received a review reader’s copy of the book, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
It had been so long since I read the Rogues series, and I enjoyed every one of the previous books. I could not imagine the writer bringing this series back in such a wonderful way. This book brought back so many memories of the first 6 books. It is very well written and I enjoyed getting reacquainted with all the characters. What an excellent way to end the series. I highly recommend reading all 7 books, in order.
I love that this book brings back the Rogue characters further in life. I love it has real life struggles even though they are billionaires. The plot twist is amazing and keeps you on your toes... I might have had eye leakage at certain parts!! Definitely one of my absolute favorites and a MUST READ!!!
The final instalment to the rogue series and boy it sends you on a roller coaster filled with emotions that you struggle to handle! It's an amazing read, and to have the entire group back together even better, without giving too much away!
The hatred of one man almost destroyed entire families as well as a corporation. Evil at its finest. Love, strength, and family and a well negotiated contract fought back and won. One HEA I agree with. I will miss these ROGUES and their families. They have grown on me.
Brilliant! I didn't realise how much i had missed these couples from the Rogues series and to get them all together for Christmas at Garen's new boutique hotel was just amazing as they are spread all over the globe. But disaster strikes in the most horrendous way that will leave them all changed and never be the same again, it will have you on the edge of your seats as it will be a Christmas they never forget.
Loved this holiday book but boy you know how to keep us glued to this story with the twists and anguish that happens to these guys, it had me hooked from the off catching up with them all. I cant tell you how emotional this story got me, you will need to pick this book up to find out. 4.5 stars.
The ROGUES’ Christmas get together does not go to plan. This is exciting, heart pounding suspense, mixed with fun moments. I love the ROGUE men and the women who know how to deal with them. The conclusion to the story was unexpected but a perfect wrap up for the series. Simply brilliant.
This book will put you through an emotional roller coaster. Through all the highs and lows and constant guessing on who or what could cause so much pain and suffering to all of the couples. To the fantastic ending. You will not want to put this one down
Omw what a rollercoaster. Poor Oliver 😭 that scared the crap out of me. So glad everything worked out in the end. Absolutely buzzing for Catriona and Garen (although still don't like him much). Sad to be leaving the ROUGES.
Loved this. Great to revisit this wonderful series and check in with the Rogues and their significant others once again. What a rollercoaster of a ride. Highly recommend.
Have just read all 6 books over Christmas 2024 really enjoyed them. It must say book 7 was the top of the tree so good and enthralling and nail biting. Sorry it is now finished
It's great to see the magnificent six back again. This time they all head off to visit the new hotel that has been a pipe dream for Garen. The book has some adult content, written in well with the love and friendship the families have together. Will this be a Christmas to remember for the right reasons?
This is the perfect ending to the ROGUES series. I loved seeing all my favourite couples again and the cameo appearance by the dark nd dangerous Draven was brilliant. This story broke me! I had to stop reading so many times to wipe my tears away before continuing. Absolutely loved it and now can’t wait to re read the entire series with this perfect ending.
