Who doesn’t like gifts? They show someone cared enough to pick out the perfect gift just for you, but what do you do when your gift is delivered broken? Children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3), so why would God give a “broken” gifts? Follow the journey as a family deals with God’s gift of a precious baby girl born with hypo-plastic left heart syndrome. Selah Faith’s journey involved miracles the medical world was not able to explain, hope, tears, joy, and lots of love. Told mainly from the grandmother’s viewpoint, this book deals with a family’s pain and growth as they struggle to find the messages God wants them to know. Sometimes the best treasures are hidden in the darkest places.
This book is a compilation of family members’ journal entries during the course of little Selah’s short life. I know some of the family members and remember clearly the pain and times of uncertainty they were going through. Their faith in God was strong and they relied heavily on that faith.
