I Am obsessed with them though 😩 they're hot. They're amazing. I was stressed and anxious and at the edge of my seat the ENTIRE TIME! I loved every single page of this! I can't wait to read more from this series. The action. The world building. The love. The romance. The spice.

Who will be the winter maiden??
We’re back for book two of The Twisted Society. Please be sure to check the TW!! There was a cringe worthy moment or two but I pushed through and kept reading. LOL I was quickly engrossed in this dark, twisted tale about Sadie, Constance, Cain & Lucien. Quickly turning each page to see what comes next, I was a bit sad when I came to the end. It ends on a cliffhanger! Gah! I really enjoyed this story & look forward to the next book! I’d highly recommend.

What an amazing book to end the year with!
It’s the perfect follow up to Scream at the Fair and answers sooooo many questions I had!
Lucien and Sadie are the very definition of opposites attract but love doesn’t care.
If you like a book that’s a little bit historical, a little bit paranormal, a little bit dark, a lotta bit spicy, and a fast paced read, this is the book for you!
I’m not a novella person, I love 200+ page books but this author writes novellas that I love and that feel like full length novels! Sooo much story is packed into these!

OMFG! What the freaking hell, I need my heart to stop racing out of control after finishing this incredibly dark and twisted story! For a novella this one sure packed one hell of a punch to the gut.
Lucien and Sadie take us on an emotionally charged journey filled with depravity, violence, hatred, and passion. What transpires between them had me gushing with love for them as a couple, but what ends up happening left me reeling with anger and wanting to smash my kindle against the wall!
Right from the beginning I was completely and utterly hooked on Lucien and Sadie’s story. It kept me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails with anxiety, and gasping at every shocking twist this story takes.
This amazing story was well written, incredibly intense, and heartbreaking and has left me aching for to know what the hell is going to happen now!

I loved this book so much! Did I finish the book with more questions than I started with after reading the first one? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely. There is literally nothing that I can tell you that won’t be a spoiler in some aspect… except what’s in the author’s blurb. But I WILL tell you this: my soul has been ripped from my body. I don’t know which way is up. This book ends with a pretty big cliffhanger. And I am SO excited for the next one!! If you love dark romance, then you don’t want to miss out on this series!

This is a gripping novella that will have you turning page after page. I do hope there’s a sequel to this book but the book itself is packed and a quick read that will lea e you wanting more. The rich and beautiful descriptions are amazing. This is a fantastic read and Cristina did such a great job.

This book tells the story of Sadie & Lucien, it shows us that sometimes we just can’t help who we fall in love with. Despite all that is against them their feelings for each other are soul consuming. I enjoyed the connection between them and how the story flowed and am looking forward to reading the next book.

This is the 2nd book in the twisted society series ... please read book 1 before this one. I loved this short read it flowed effortlessly, a little historical, paranormal novella, the story follows Lucien and Sadie, the story had me gripped throughout and i cant wait for book 3 after that cliffhanger. Will Lucien and Sadie ever be the same again?

The second book of the Twisted Games Series, this book goes back to give us a glimpse of Tallulah/Sadie's past. As we found out at the end of the first book, Tallulah has essentially been living a lie this entire time, and discovered it after Lucien alerted her.
This book centers on the past. They introduce Tallulah, who is in fact, Sadie. The second born in her village, she has always been considered an afterthought due to her older twin sister, Constance being raised as the fairer of children. Sadie has basically been a slave to her sister, but that has never stopped her from caring for people and wish the best for even those that hurt her.
She meets Lucien when she attempts to help his brother, Cain's, horse. This brings attention to her in two ways. Cain sees her and wants her for himself just to break her, and Lucien sees her and instantly fall for her. This also causes even more of a rift in her family, because her sister that was raised to become the Winter Maiden is cast aside for her by Lucien. Lucien promises her that they'll be together, but things go sideways, and Lucien finds Sadie on the brink of death.
Without giving away too much, as you can see I'm trying not to do, Lucien decides that he'd rather spend multiple lives with Sadie as long as he can than lose her for eternity. He also vows that he won't rest until any and everybody will pay that tries to stop him or that hurt Sadie.
As I'm coming to learn, Cristina does a great job conveying everything that she needs in the short stories. She makes the story short enough that it keeps your attention, and the characters so realistic that you love them. There are some triggers in this story, and they are listed at the beginning, so look out for those if you have any.

Well this book surprised me. I always go to books almost 100% blind and the cover on this one I would kind of thought it was more maybe horror with the ghost but I was way off. Maybe even a winter fairy or winter queen. But nope again! 🤣
I enjoy that Cristina Lollabrigida books are short, fast read but very juicy and good!!!! She has a storyline which is catchy, along with the spice. Oh that's spice... Right to my dark soul!
Storyline:Sadie is lower class and shouldn't be seen or heard from by anyone. She is more like Cinderella! She has an evil step sister that makes her clean!!! Cain finds her and claims her as his... But his brother has different plans. And that is where I stop.... If you want to figure out what happens you need to read it

This is the second book in The Twisted Society. It was a short story but I didn't feel like a lot was left out of the story. The relationship development between Sadie and Lucien was great. I felt the connection between the characters. They meet before the ball where the Winter Maiden will be chosen and you can already see the interest growing. Once they are at the ball, Sadie is chosen as the Winter Maiden and this starts the major development of their love story. They are only together for a short time but the love and caring I felt coming from Lucien towards Sadie made this a great love story.
However, the ending is slightly rushed, but I do believe there will be a second book to conclude this story as it does leave you with some unanswered questions and gaps in the story. It leaves some questions about the safety of some of the characters and a major event happens near the end of the book which really makes me believe that there will be a second story to conclude this love story.

In this book we get to explore how Sadie and mr L met among other things it’s a really quick read with lots evil things happened. This book is not what I expected but I liked it nonetheless I can’t believe how cruel some of the side characters are I hope they get a taste of their own medicine one day! In my opinion there are lots of unpredictable surprises in this read that’s always nice cause it keeps you wanting more like a page turner. Which I think this is along with adventurous steamy moments and full of wanting/chemistry with the two main characters which I always love in the books I read! This is not for soft hearted people it’s definitely dark, dangerous stuff in it so please be careful reading. I’m really looking forward to see will things go in this twisted mess up series but impossible not to read especially when people like us love dark dark mess up romance books! This is definitely one of those:)

Sadie felt like a worthless nobody, do everything she could just to survive the cruel world she lived in. Never truly felt wanted or loved and then her heart is opened up by the devil himself. For someone so dark, he shone brighter than anything she had ever seen.
But love doesn't come so easily and not without any scars. Can the two love birds be strong enough to face the wrath of the jealous. The monsters that crave everything they have and more!
Filled with pain, joy and wonder in a world of monsters. A love story like no other, that you will never forget and will leave its mark on your heart forever.

This is book 2 in "The Twisted Society" series. You don't need to read Scream at the Fair but I highly recommend that you do. These two stories intertwine together. The good thing is that they are both short novellas.
This book delves deeper into Sadie and Lucian's story. This is set in more of historical time then first book but still just as spicy and just as dark. I don't want to give any spoilers away but I will tell you that you will be left with questions but it is absolutely worth it. Sadie and Lucian's love transcends time and you get to find out exactly who he is which I love.
Please make sure you check the trigger warnings because this book is very dark but so so so so worth it.

Every book I've read by Cristina I've loved, her books are amazing, they suck you in and don't let go. She knows how to to rip you to pieces and have you begging for more.
This is the second book In the twisted society series, telling us the story of Lucien and Sadie, and what a fucking story it was!! It had me on the edge of my seat , heart pounding and hands sweaty. It's a crazy rollercoaster ride that will leave you questioning and saying wtaf!!
It's dark, twisted, raw, intense and heartbreaking. But I loved every single minute of it. Once I started I couldn't put it down, it's a quick read novella that packs a helluva punch!
The characters are amazing and will make you fall in love with them. The story was written beautifully. The world building was awesome. I just couldn't get enough of them, Im never disappointed in her books. They always deliver. But that ending 🤦🏼♀️😱 damn. I can't wait to see what comes next in the series. Highly recommend!!!!!!.

This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites. She has the ability to write twisted, smexy times, romances that are not for the faint of heart. This book is no different.
Sadie and Lucien are smoking hot together. This story has a secret society, morally grey to black characters, protective MMC, and truly evil villain. Lucien will truly burn down the world for Sadie.
The cliffhanger made me want to throw my kindle. I cannot wait for the next one!!!
You definitely need to be aware of your triggers. There is the d3@th of an infant (not by the two MCs), torture and SA of the FMC (not by the MMC).

Sadie gives herself over to her desires for Lucien and becomes his Winter Maiden. Unfortunately as soon as they’ve had their night together Lucien must leave. In doing so she is left unprotected and has to endure some horrific events begging for Lucien to return and save her.
When Lucien gets back, HELL is being paid.
This does answer some questions from Book 1, but I still have some unanswered questions. Hopefully Book 3 will tie up these loose ends.

Hot Twisted Short Story!!!
What a read! My mind feels like a twisted mess. When I started reading this, I could not fathom that it would end the way it did! This book has very hot spice, there are very dark parts and the story is one that I want more of. It does end in a cliffhanger, but I have not doubt that I will be very satisfied with the rest of the story because this author is truly amazing! Please check the TWs prior to reading this because some of this story is extremely dark. I’m off to try to piece myself back together . . . OR maybe I will just read it again!

I need more! Not later, NOW!!!
That cliff was brutal. But knowing this is Sadie & Lucien’s beginning. Traveling back in time was a brilliant move for this story. I am here for The Twisted Society’s tale.
Can I just say I love Lucien! Considering who he is, the devotion he shows Sadie is some next level book boyfriend stuff. I love morally gray and touch her and 💀 kind of stuff. I'm waving my flag for this couple and shipping them hard.
Cain and Constance are the worst! I can't wait to see them get theirs.

I love every book I have gotten the chance to read by Cristina Lollabrigida and this one is no different. The Winter Maiden is the second book in The Twisted Society series. Scream at that Fair was amazing, so I just knew I wasn’t going to be disappointed with this one. This book will have you on the edge of your seat with every turn of the page. I loved Lucien’s and Sadie’s relationship. Im super excited to read the next one!

Devotion that lasts
This is the story of how Lucian and Sadie’s love and devotion for each other lasts through the centuries.
At first look Lucien knows she will be his and for all eternity, if he has anything to do with it. But it’s not to be and Sadie, who is pure of soul has to endure terror and trials for love but how will it end?
This series caught my eye when I read Scream at the Fair (which after a reorder is now #3). It’s so intriguing and I can’t wait for the other books to see just how everything will come to a head!
Highly recommend for short, spicy and heart wrenching reads.

“The Winter Maiden” by Cristina Lollabrigida is a very intense, twisted short story featuring a young woman named Sadie Winters.
This short story is part of The Twisted Society, and honestly, all it did was make me even more curious about these characters.
I have so many questions, and I’m really hoping they’ll be answered in a further installment, because I’m definitely hooked at this point.
