DNF for me

This was a struggle for me. I normally finish all books I read and rarely DNF a book. The story was a little too slow paced and there were a number of grammatical errors which made it hard to read. I also felt there was a lack on the authors end to really take the time to build up a scene or moment. I really wanted to like this book.

You need more

The story line is very intriguing and the characters are good. I found it was all very interesting and I was left wondering about what happened next. It is a series and you will have to read it that way. The Author has done a great job of sitting up the locations and the characters and I enjoy the intriguing story line. But I found it a little slow.

The book starts at a very good pace, loved the main character's energy, the mystery, the setting, the action, the side characters, the bonds of Maria with her colleagues & no bonds as well, god! that fight, her emotions were amazing. Even their intimacy scenes were good, but the concept of lover & his mystery is too mysterious for me, so I gonna read other books, see ya there.

Got this book for free during stuff your kindle day. Turned out it was only a part of the story. It is not what I usually go for, it did not really mad any sense and the writing was a bit off

good foundation

Interesting world building great main character. I enjoyed this story a lot. Can’t wait to read the next book. Hopefully we learn more about the mystery man
