Nico has faced threats from men, threats from dragons, and horrors beyond the physical world, but he's tired of reacting. Nico may like lying around on piles of gold, but that doesn't mean he's going to wait around any longer. He's going to take the initiative and that includes freeing the enslaved dragons, and establishing Scale Nation, a place for all dragons. Of course, that's just a stepping stone to restoring the proper rulership of dragons. Book 4 in this series continues the same world building and relationships but provides significant steps forward for Nico and Cami as well as a deeper understanding of the connection between the past and the present, the gods and the dragons.

It's another excellent book from a fantastic series. I loved the world-building in this book as there were a lot of really cool events that occurred, which was super fascinating. I eagerly await more from this world as it is super well-developed. Nico is a fantastic character who is a dragon! Cami is a great character as well. The adventures are fantastic side characters and the rest of the minions. It's a great book. I highly recommend it.

love this series!

I was so excited to see that the next book was out. I’ve been following this series for awhile and I love it. Nico is unabashedly a dragon. He acts like a dragon he thinks like a dragon and he continually grows in power and understanding. His character grows and evolves and how he thinks changes. Well written and fairly fast paced. I can’t wait for the next book.

In Bite Down Nico and Cami are ready to confront the problems they see head on! And the first thing is to free the dragons from the slavers that have held them for so long in servitude to the humans, but still remain alys to the humans, which is easier said then done! Nico also decided to form his own nation run by dragons, but allowing every race to thrive if they want to immigrate to Scale Nation. All the while fighting with monsters from Gnolls to Bone Horrors controlled by a Elemental Lich who wants to destroy all of Nico's and Cami's plans.
Bite Down is just as good if not better than the first three books in this amazing action-packed series. And as a dragon lover you'll need this in your library. So get the book and enjoy!
I love finding great quotes and Nico with his dragon arrogant nature is rich fodder to choose from, I think you'll know which ones are his:

“Humans,” I called out, “return to your lairs. I am not here to harm you. My dragon knight and I have slain an enemy who meant to destroy your city. Rejoice, for you have been saved. You need only bask in my glory.”

I snorted. “Of course. No one in their right mind wants to be enemies with a dragon—that’s a quick way to become an appetizer. Though, if I am honest, I would need to wrap such an appetizer in your lovely bacon to disguise the flavor…” I shuddered briefly

I you better when you weren’t this confident.

great 4th installment

Another great book in the series. Nico and Cami’s relationship continued to develop and fought some great battles. Nico’s arrogance and pride as a dragon provided a lot of humor. Minions and side characters are all interesting and the antagonists are pretty formidable and complex. Great series!

good book

Worth the read and the wait. But needs a bit of polish. Several misspelled and misplaced words and in one spot there is missing half a paragraph. But it’s a great series and worthy successor of its predecessor in the series.

Good continuation of the story

Love your work really do but it could have used an editor to reread it before you sent it or maybe the zon just posted your rough draft but the typos reminded me of when gamelit was fresh and new. Can't wait til the next one

4.5 stars. Continues to be good, and things progress significantly in this book. Nico and Cami have a great deal of groth, and a long-standing issue is resolved. Still the big showdown to come, so I look forward to the next installment.

Enjoyed the story but this one, contrary to the previous books, needed more editing. Lots of typos, missing or wrong words in this one.

Bite Down

Nico has decided his plans. Dragons will return to their proper role as leaders of the world. Naturally, he shall be the Emperor. In order to establish Scale Nation, he will start by freeing all the domesticated dragons and find a way to restore them.

The dragon PoV and mindset make this series! Cami just keeps getting better and more interesting. I started this series as it was tied to Welcome to the Multiverse, but it is well worth the read! I can’t wait for the finale in book 5. Neil Hellegers did a fantastic job with the narration!
