Newly engaged Rachel Summers has a brand new to-do-list . . . will she tick everything off before she says 'I do'? Catch up with old friends in the sequel novella to The Single Girl's To-Do List.
*Please note, this novella was previously featured in the 2021 reissue of The Single Girl's To-Do List.*
Lindsey Kelk is the Sunday Times bestselling author of books including the I Heart series, On A Night Like This, The Christmas Wish, and One in a Million, along with the middle grade Cinders & Sparks series.
As well as writing books, Lindsey co-hosts the award-winning beauty podcast, Full Coverage, and Tight and Fights, a pro-wrestling podcast on the Maximum Fun network.
Born and raised in South Yorkshire, Lindsey lived in Nottingham, London and New York before settling in LA, where she lives with her husband and two very rude cats.
Fancied a quick read this afternoon to get me back on target with my Goodreads reading challenge.
I read The Single Girls to do List when it was first published so tricky to remember the storyline but this book was really easy to get into and enjoy and it was nice to revisit Rachel and friends in this novella. Lindsey is one of my favourite authors as she always makes you chuckle reading her books.
I didn't want the book to finish and really hope now that Lindsey will write another book continuing Rachel and Dan's story and Emelie and Paul's.
This is a short e-book following on from the single girls to do list, I read that about 10 years ago so had forgotten the majority of the plot😂
Regardless I still loved this short story, Lindsay’s humour comes through perfectly and it’s just a book that makes you smile with a really nice happy end. I hope we do get a full story from these characters again sometime in the future
Maybe I am rating this lower because of the fact I didn’t realize that it was a novella and I hadn’t read the first book. The friendship bond was great, but I think I need to read the first book before making a further judgement on this one.
Disappointing tbh I usually enjoy books by this author. Easy escapism and really humorous. This just fell short. The characters were unlikeable this time round. Plot seemed to go nowhere and was flimsy. I know it was more of an update but seemed unnecessary.
The further adventures of Rachel the protagonist from the single girls to do list and her friends as they prepare for Rachel's wedding to her boyfriend. Due to the nature of the book ie a short story it means that we can't explore in depth as much but it was nice to revisit these characters again.
Had a fun time reading this, even though I never read the single girls to do list! (Although I might try it now) i laughed out loud a few times, was enjoyable!
Totally loved this follow up to 'The Single Girl's To Do List'. It made me laugh, especially at the end! The beginning is great too. Another smash my Lindsey Kelk
Love Lindsey Kelk as an author, she never writes a bad book. It was great to revisit these characters and find out what they have been up to. Can not wait until the next book!
It was nice to revisit Rachel and friends in this novella! I loved “The Single Girl’s to-do List” and hoping that Lindsey will continue m with another book with Rachel and Dan
We revisit Rachel Summers and friends in this sequel novella to The Single Girl’s To-Do List. Newly engaged Rachel has a brand new to-do-list and it must be completed before she ties the knot. Needless to say, not all goes smoothly.
This is a great introduction of Lindsey Kelk’s work if you haven’t read any of her books yet. It filled the time until her next romcom will be released in July.
Lovely to see what has happened between Racheal and Dan. Lindsey creates all the feels no matter what type of relationship is being described. What a lovey group of friends. Would love a follow up for the wedding. Well written and fun to the end.
