Will is being tortured, and Courtney has to wait her turn. Small Jay is ruthless and handles the prisoners cruelly while his brother, Big Tom, battles with the realization that Adrian might be gay. On the other hand, Mike has flown Evelyn and Lisa away to safety as he had done with his family. Will and Courtney escape from prison. Small Jay finds Evelyn and Lisa.
Evelyn’s POV
I have become a shadow of my former self since Will got captured. I live constantly in fear, even though we were out of the country, away from Big Tom’s troubles. It is pissing me off that Lisa acts like everything is okay, although I understand that she’s trying to not think of our troubles. Barely a week out of the country, trouble comes calling at our doorstep.
Will’s POV
I think death is better than the torture I am being fed here. Courtney gets her share from time to time, while awaiting her own trials. I have given up and wish to die, but Courtney brings hope when she skillfully gets the keys from Small Jay again. We are careful not to make the same mistakes again, and despite my broken frame, I am not giving up in the face of hope.
Evelyn’s POV
