Sweet story of wishing for the stars and then reaching them. Joel is a fish with a dream. Many of his companions make fun of him. He wants to fly, and only Hosea his best friends seems to support him. One day, he sprouts wings and is able to achieve his dream. However, it is not perfect, but that's okay- because he has at least experienced his hopes.
Wonderful little book about hopes, dreams and the ambition to make them come true. It's nice to read a real old fashioned fairy tail of sorts. A wealth of discussion can be opened up after reading this book from; be careful for what you wish for, to if you want something bad enough, and don't lose faith, it may just happen. This book brings me back to the innocent days of wishes coming true.

I was asked to read and review this cute children's story. I read it with my 4.5 year old daughter and she loved it. It has a great lesson to it, that it is ok to be different from your friends and that you can do anything you want. I will be keeping this on the list of books I read to her at bedtime. The pictures that go along with the story are very cute.

What a GREAT story!

A FUN book just to read!
But what AMAZING lessons to learn!

*Sometimes we want what others have...

*You can do anything you set your mind to...

*Sometimes what we already have is really what we need...

LOVED IT!
ENJOYED IT!

I liked this children’s book about this little fish that wanted to fly. Joel was different from all his fish buddies in that he had a dream. He worked hard every day to accomplish his heart’s desire. It didn’t matter to him that he wasn’t like all the other fish.

I liked that I Will Fly teaches that it’s okay to be different. We don’t need to be the same as everyone else. There is nothing wrong with having different goals and dreams than other people. Even if others scoff at you and say you will never reach your goal, it’s important to keep working towards it. You may surprise them

and yourself when you do. (And even if you don’t, you’ll learn important lessons on the way.)

I enjoyed the illustrations in the book as well. They were a unique composite of photographs, ink drawings and watercolour. I think children will enjoy the colourful pictures immensely.

I Will Fly is published in both. The translation to English was well. There were no issues with the English grammar.

There was a link in the book that was supposed to take you to some free colouring pages published on Facebook, but clicking the link did not take you there. (I only ended up on my own Facebook page.) Mr. Ezra has a Facebook page, but I did not include the link as it is a personal page and there are no colouring pages on it.

I Will Fly: The Green Fin Fish Story is a delightful tale with a wonderful lesson about being different and working towards your goals. I would highly recommend this book for children ages 3 – 8. I gave this book 5 stars out of 5.

Thank you to the author for providing a copy of the book in exchange for a fair and honest review. A positive opinion was not required. All thoughts are my own.

Awe fish

this is a cute children's book that could teach kids that just because someone else tells you that you can't do something doesn't make it true and that if you set your mind on something and work hard to achieve it, then you can do anything.
