I love the names of the characters. They were very unique. Nice story with a nice ending. We will probably read it over and over!

I read this one because I always let the children pick some of their own books, I don't really care for them though. Might as well watch the darn show! But the kids like them, and I want to encourage them to read any way they will.

Not sure I like the pictures replacing the words, but overall a good beginning reader with lots of repetition. Toughest words are backyardigans names and "bandit."
