A Wrathful End: Reflecting on a Satisfying Romance Series Conclusion "What a satisfying conclusion to this series!" That was my initial thought after turning the final page, and it's a sentiment that's only solidified as I've had time to reflect. This journey through love, obstacles, and characters with deeply ingrained walls has been a captivating one, culminating in a book that delivers on its promise.
Specifically, "Prince of Wrath" presented a unique challenge. Seere had perhaps the most formidable barrier to overcome with Sloane. Their relationship felt like a tightrope walk, leaving me constantly wondering if they would truly find their way to each other with the enormous walls Sloane had built around herself. The author brilliantly portrayed the intricacies of her past, the building connection with Seere, keeping the tension high and the stakes even higher, making their eventual connection all the more rewarding.
But the brilliance of this series extends beyond individual books. What truly elevated it was the interconnectedness between each installment. While each book stood on its own, exploring a different romance and set of challenges, the threads that linked them together created a rich and immersive reading experience.
My absolute favorite example of this was the recurring party scene. Experiencing the same event from multiple characters' perspectives, each with their own unique insights and agendas, was a stroke of genius. It not only provided a familiar backdrop but deepened our understanding of the characters and the overarching dynamics of the group. We saw interactions we might have missed, motivations hidden beneath the surface, and the subtle shifts in relationships that played out over the course of the series. This clever technique fostered a sense of community and made the entire narrative feel more cohesive and engaging.
Ultimately, this series has been a testament to the power of well-developed characters, compelling storylines, and skilled writing. The author has crafted a world that feels both familiar and fantastical, populated by individuals you can't help but root for, even when they're at their most frustrating.
And finally, the tease at the end! The author's hint about her next venture has me absolutely buzzing with anticipation. If her future work holds even a fraction of the charm and depth of this series, I'll be eagerly joining her for the ride. Consider me hooked, and already counting down the days!
The final installment in the Princes of Sin, I hated it, it ended too soon. K. Elle I need like MORE! There should be 13 princes of sin! Or 666?
Seriously though, I adore Seere, he’s a hard man/demon. He doesn’t compromise and he does not quit. He also doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what he is, a monster. It doesn’t bother him, it seems to bother Sloane, not enough to stop her from selling her soul to him. But Seere wants more than her soul, he wants her body and her heart. What Seere feels for Sloan, “What I have for you has no comparison to love. . . I was created, fought, survived, and yearned just so I could be yours.” He is completely obsessed with Sloane, at she’s determined to keep him at arm’s length. Seere is all in, totally unhinged in his feelings for her, but Sloane is terrified about the depth of those kind of feelings. Which is why she runs.
The connection between wrath and each of the characters lies in betrayal and vengeance. It’s what propels them forward physically while holding them back emotionally. The story/plot is absolutely amazing. I loved how strong and determined Sloane was, but at the same time she wasn’t invincible. She had to learn, just like Seere did. That’s kind of been the theme through each of these books, each couple complements the other. I’m going to miss this world, more than I expected. I am so impressed with how K. Elle is able to fabricate whole entire worlds and the people that inhabit them and plot out an entrancing, hot, smexy story that keeps me mesmerized, yet its not dictionary sized. *sigh* I look forward to her next books.
Once again I have fallen for a Prince of Hell and I personally don’t ever want to stop lol. I think the author saved the most unhinged for last, but that’s hard to be certain of because when it comes to their women, each of the princes lose all sense lol. Prince of Wrath was so quick and to the point with Seere and Sloanne, which I loved. You knew instantly what they were to each other, even if Sloanne didn’t admit it to herself. I loved how Seere was ABSOLUTELY unhinged from the beginning and was absolutely not afraid to show it 😂. I’m so sad this series is over now but I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author!
Seer had Sloane in his hold for years...until she ran away. After inking a protection spell on her leg, Sloane was able to avoid her demon for months. Until a sudden encounter at a boat party. Sloane had originally made a deal with Seer to get back at her ex for absolutely ruining her. Things got pretty hot and heavy, but ultimately, she was scared he would eventually grow tired of her and move on like all the other douche bags she's dated. Well, Seer is back, but so is her ex Ben and that's when things get interesting.
If you enjoy witty and kinky text messaging, this was pretty enjoyable.
The series is worth to read, it will made you smile and laugh. There are loads good spicy scene in the series.
3.5 ⭐️ 2.5 🌶️ Prince of Wrath: Seere and Sloane The last story of The Seven Deadly sins series
Tropes: ✔️ touch her and die ✔️ Strong-ish FMC ✔️ Obsessed MMC ✔️ Violence ✔️ Slight gore ✔️Love-hate relationship
I loved the series, I have my favourites. Seere is not one of them. All of them are cocky, but he was too cocky for my taste. I loved the kinky texting, it always made me smile. I wouldn't have felt the chemistry between them if it weren't for the text messages. It felt a bit...toxic, bully, love-hate relationship.
I never want this series to end!!!! I love each Prince of Hell so much! At this point I don’t even know if I could pick out a favorite. This one definitely was a great one to end with. We see Wrath being the one who won’t bend. He lives up to his name and refuses to change. Sloane is also one of the most badass FMC I’ve ever read. She takes the Prince by the horns and shows him the strong, confident woman she is with every interaction. Love this book so much!! Thank you so much K Elle for creating this world I can get lost in.
I was right! These princes just keep getting better and better. I absolutely loved Seere. He's the dark and vengeful on the outside but a love sick puppy on the inside, and I loved every second of his story. My only wish is that there was more of it! This whole series has been absolutely amazing, and I’ll be honest, I'm sad to see it ending. I have loved each prince of sin a little more than the last.
I can’t believe this series is finished! Nothing like going out with a bang! I am pretty sure I finished this book faster than any of the others! It kept me on the edge of my seat, and I didn’t want it to end. While I am sad that this series is now complete, I am excited to see what K. Elle will come up with next!
The final addition to the Princes of Sin, and Seere is the one I’ve been waiting for. (Other than Sitri of course…) the little push and pull between Sloane and Seere is phenomenal and the way he just switches for/with her gives major cat & mouse vibes that I am living for! Sloane being such a take-no-sh*t woman makes it all the better! 🥰🥰
Only reason why I'd given this book 4 stars is because it's way too short. This series can be extended for far more than just what feels like a small chapter for every prince. But it's a 10/10 nevertheless.
I loved finally getting to read the last book of the series but I also didn’t want it to end. I have loved every single one of these spicy little books. This one kept me on the edge of my seat and I had a fun time getting to read this one. I can’t wait to see what K. Elle will come up with next
“Distance won’t silence the voice in your head that’s always searching for me in the dark corners.”
5⭐️ Oh man, Seere is completely unhinged and I am here for it. I really thought after this series was complete that Gaap would stay my favorite but man Seere just knocked him down a place. This series has been such an adventure to read and I loved every part of it. Once again, I love how the story intertwines with the previous stories and this one really tied everything together perfectly. These demons will definitely always have a place in my heart and I cannot wait to see what comes next.
A quick spicy read that will have you ensnared. Does it seem toxic? A little, but what prince of h3łł isn’t at least somewhat toxic 🤣😂 It was such a fun read and I can’t believe the series is finished! Well looks like I need to do a reread of the series to fill the void lol
I’m an ARC reader and these are my own honest opinions.
