Really loved the premise of how this book came about - a writer and an illustrator collaborating over the course of Inktober! As with most short story collections, some were stronger than others. The cover is fantastic and the illustrations throughout are thought provoking and enjoyable. Overall, this was a great cozy read, and quite a few of the stories were so good I would love to see them in a longer format.

Ps. please note that the stories aren't based around Halloween or even necessarily autumnal, so don't go into this read expecting that. It's a collection of fantasy, mystery, sci-fi that's absolutely worth a try if you're into any of those genres.
