My relationships heat up, and fast. Now that we are magically linked, albeit it fractionally, it feels more natural to be with my men. We finish up the trimester and have a quick break. then we are litter lay thrown in the deepens at the Trials for this term. I also have the displeasure of being nominated for Tier Testing.
Layla Landon is a laid back Aussie, who loves her dog and values family above all else. Layla has been an avid reader since high school, thinking nothing of reading 300 books in a year. In memory of her father, Layla finally put aside her fears and published her first book in 2022. When she isn’t writing, she is playing with her dogs, watching anime or reading.
This was a fast paced, action packed, humour laced story with lots of relationship moving. For those who need spice, (i can take it or leave it), it's fade to black or off page. But really well written and executed with a fun cliffhanger.
Questioning Destiny is the fourth book in the Kat Sanders series. We rejoin Kat and her friends as the next trimester of classes start and their training continues. Their focus is on the trials, but there is always a little fun outside of the classroom, especially as Kat’s connection with her mates deepens. When interruptions come to the school in forms of zombie-like gatecrashers all energies must turn to them. Will Kat be able to protect her loved ones and come out of this unscathed?
This series has been entertaining from the beginning and I like seeing how Kat has grown over the series. She’s come a long way since the beginning and still has the potential for a long way to go. This story was full of humorous moments interspersed throughout the drama and attacks. The cliffhanger leaves you wanting more and I’m curious to see how things play out from here.
