Flatter Me is the fourth installment of Folsom’s Roommate Romance series. It seems that every time I read a new book from Rene, I think I’ve found my favorite of her work. In this case Flatter Me is no doubt my favorite of the series.
With this being the longest of the series, there is a little more meat to sink your teeth into which provided the opportunity to invest in the characters, I loved every book in this series but Laney and Trevor’s story is by far the best, I can only hope there is a spin off with a full length novel somewhere in the future.
Trevor is one hot Aussie, how can you not love a leading man who say’s things like “I was done the moment I met you.”?
Laney is a fun leading female and when she and Trevor come together you are in for some hot scenes… enter the best friends, Ben and Jack, two more hot Aussies who add a whole new level of hotness and steamy scenes.
I can’t say enough… I know I’ve said it in probably every review I’ve written for Folsom, but I love everything she writes. She is unafraid to push the boundaries and comes up with some amazing characters and hot, hot, hot stories. I’ll leave you with this from Flatter Me…

Author Rene Folsom knocked it out of the ball park again with her Roommate Romance novella. This book is one of my favorites, aside from Heart You.
Items you will need before reading this book: Extra pair of panties, a quite room and a cigarette for when you get done reading this novella.
Rene knows how to take you out of your everyday life and place you into this fantasy world she has made.
Laney is a barista for a small coffee shop, at the end of closing time, three sexy Australian men walk in and start giving her cheesy pickup lines, flattering yes, but cheesy all the same. Not knowing that the one that was standing by himself, will change her and have her sticking to her New Years resolution : ...Grab life by the horns and stop being uptight. Take a risk and have some fun. ...
That is what Trevor will have Laney doing by the end of the night. A one night stand, with no attachments, just what she needed after being on a six month dry spell... right?
... "I knew I couldn't keep seeing him, yet I also knew I couldn't stay away. He was like a drug to me. I craved every moment we spent together."- Laney...

I am so flustered, I am not really sure where to start. Oh yeah, the beginning and oh the deliciousness awaiting us.....
Laney works at a coffee shop and is just waiting for closing time. She has been telling herself that it is a New Year and she promised herself she will let go and enjoy life more, maybe take some risks and have some fun. Little did she know, three sexy Australian men would walk through the door of the coffee shop and shake up her boring little world.
They start feeding her cheesy one-liners, which Laney doesn't bite. She could care less. But when the dark haired man walks up to her counter, she starts losing herself to his smell, his accent and the desire to see what is underneath that leather jacket of his.
Laney is hesitant about taking Trevor back to her apartment. After a bite to eat, conversation and some reassuring words from Trevor she gives in. Back at her apartment it starts as soon as they walk in the door. Their romp is so HOT and so YUMMY!
After that night together the two of them are inseparable. They spend lots of time together and Laney worries what will happen when Trev has to return to Australia.
I didn't think it could get any better..... IT SO DOES!!
OMG!! Rene takes us to a place every woman probably desires deep down, but may not admit. When Trevor asks Laney what she wants for her birthday, she reveals a dream she had about Trevor's buddies, herself and Trevor. Let your imagination take you where your deepest desires are hidden and you will find the answer. I DID!! Of course Trevor has some rules that his buddies must abide by, but he gives Laney the wildest ride of her entire life.
This was by far my absolute favorite of the Roommate Romance stories. Rene takes us to a place of pure ecstasy, pleasure and the need for more of Trevor and Laney's story.

If you're not into m/m/f/m stories, or can't at least have an open mind, DO NOT READ THIS. I hate when people read something outside their comfort zone and then trash what they read because the author wrote something that made them uncomfortable. STOP READING. Or DON'T PICK IT UP! This is an EROTIC, SHORT STORY. Got that? EROTIC. There will be SEX. SHORT STORY. It's not a full-length NOVEL. Got it? Okay. Good. Now, if you're still interested, read on...
I tend to shy away from erotica, particularly short stories. Why? Not because I'm a prude, but because, as anyone who reads my reviews with regularity will tell you, I'm very much into character-driven stories. By their very nature, erotic shorts are NOT expected to focus on character or have time to develop them enough for me to care about them. But Rene succeeded in doing just that! (Gonna post these two paragraphs for all the stories in the set).
This one, I received from the author for an honest review. I have to say, it was an eye-opener and I'm not particularly closed-minded. Never mind that the three sexy men in this story are Aussies, the story was insanely hot without the idea of the delicious accents! I loved that we got a chance to know Laney and Trevor, just a little, before their bedroom encounter with Trevor's mates. But what you're reading here is their encounter, and it was panty-melting. The fact that Rene could weave a story I wanted to keep reading into that is a testament to her abilities as a writer.

She easily averts their attempts, but soon caves when Trevor offers for them to go grab something to eat. Thus follows a nearly year long tryst that fulfills her oath to live and more.
Rene Folsom once again displays her ability to make me, a usually erotica-avoiding reader, blush. I felt like my face was on fire while reading this story, but I couldn’t stop from reading on despite this. Her writing is very graphic, painting a naughty picture that both captures you and teases you. It's no great great surprise that I am in love with Rene Folsom. Any mention of her name and I am pushing her books out to people to read. When I hear that she has a new release coming out. I drop whatever I am currently reading and pick it up. Rene Folsom is an amazing author.

I need the option of more than 5 stars!!! This book was absolutely AFREAKINMAZING!! The best of the Roommate Romances. It left me wanting more of Trev's and Laney's story. Rene is an amazing writer, and there is a reason that I call her the "queen of mommy porn". You will not be disappointed with the sex in this book.

Flatter me is a great erotic short story which keeps you hooked the whole way through! This has to be my favourite of the Roommate Romance Series! Rene just seems to be getting better and better and can do no wrong! I cannot wait to read what she comes up with next!

This latest installment by Rene Folsom is a great addition to her list of books.
It moved along at a great pace, has amazing characters and an awesome story that keeps you interested from beginning to end.
Rene is a fantastic author and I cannot wait to read what she writes next.

I think this is my favorite book in this Roommate Romance series. This book gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "the things you do for love". I love how throughout this series the author has given me things to think about. No, I didn't come up with answers but my mind is still reeling I love how Trevor would consider anything for his woman but he was also very clear about the limits. Makes a girl ask what is next from this author.

Once again Rene Folsom delivers! This is the 4th and final novella in the Roommate Series and it was HOT! One girl and hot Aussie men....what's not to like? Get ready to devour and be devoured! This was another book I wanted to become part of the story. I would love it if Rene would find a way to extend this series.
