Savage Vows turned out to be a story that i enjoyed more than Vengeful Vows,if i’m honest.
Matteo and Alessia were supposed to marry, but she didn’t want anything to do with the mafia.
With good reasons….her family wasn’t a loving one,to put it mildly.
Not knowing the Moretti’s,she assumed they were the same, and she fled the country.
But now that she’s been found, her time is up…..Matteo is coming to bring her home.
He’s intense, and sweeps her of her feet, but she needs time to adjust.
That’s something she doesn’t really get when his father ends up in hospital after being attacked.
Promising him she’ll marry Matteo is easy, staying with him after his father dies is not, though….
It takes her leaving him to shake Matteo up,to make him realize he can’t live without her.
But how to get her to come back,to give him a second chance,thát is the question.
One thing is for sure,Rafe Sterling’s hotel seems to be a favorite place to stay for the Moretti women when their men are being arseholes…..

Fastpaced, with a budding love interrupted by circumstances, this story kept my attention.
And left me with a question…..who’s responsible for Rafaele’s death?
Will that question be answered in Merciless Vows?
If so,i will have to wait a whole year to find the answer……

What a story this one turned out to be! I wasn't sure how I felt about Matteo at the beginning, to be honest. You see, Alessia is a Mafia princess who witnessed the reality of her world at a young age. She made a vow to herself then and there she would not grow up and be part of the Mafia lifestyle. That's why she ran to Europe when she found out her father had negotiated a deal for her to marry a man from a rival Mafia.
What a story this turned out to be! To be honest, I wasn’t sure how I felt about Matteo at the beginning. Alessia is a Mafia princess who witnessed the harsh realities of her world at a young age. She vowed to herself that she would not grow up to be part of the Mafia lifestyle, so she fled to Europe when she found out her father had arranged for her to marry a man from a rival Mafia family.
Matteo is his father's second-in-command and is destined to become the next Don when his father passes the torch. He becomes furious when he learns his prospective bride has run away from him instead of fulfilling her obligations. So, instead of sending one of his men to bring her back, Matteo flies to Elysian Hills, an art community, to retrieve her.
I loved that both characters have strong personalities. Even though Alessia doesn’t want anything to do with Matteo, their chemistry is undeniable, like two magnets drawn to each other. However, tragedy strikes when Matteo becomes the new Don, and this becomes a breaking point for both of them, forcing them to make difficult decisions.
I must say, I got a kick out of Rafe Sterling, another Titan we’ve previously met, making an appearance in the story.
I’m eagerly anticipating the release of the next book in the series, not that I'm trying to rush Ms. Cartwright or anything!

This was a yummy mafia book. I love it when the tough guys fall hard and fast and everyone knows it but them. These guys can be so stubborn about love sometimes. I absolutely adore how strong of a personality Alessia is. She knows her worth and has no qualms about making sure others do too. I definitely want to know what happens next!

I enjoy most of her books, but this one is not her best. The insta-lust is so strong (on his part) the chemistry never develops, and the language is stilted. I also found their interactions to be repetitive: he asks she refuses, he threatens something dire, and she acquiesces. Rinse repeat.

Also, I really dislike his endearment, “little rebel.” It feels passive aggressive.

Part of the Titans – Moretti Mafia you might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Alessia has always wanted to live her life her way but being the daughter of a mafia father, she knew she had few to no choices so when she learns he set up an arranged marriage for her of course she runs to another country to try and live a live of her choosing. Matteo sexy as all get out next in line to take over for his father knowing marriage is one of the signs of a strong leader so he will find his bride to be, he isn’t a man you want on your radar he is dangerous, ruthless on a good day, deadly every day learned from the best and heads to go get his girl to convince his bride to agree. Alessia agrees unwillingly might I add but he tries to make it as agreeable as possible the more she is around him she sees he isn’t the monster she assumed he was there more to him, and he see there is more to her than just a mafia princess she keeps him on his toes. The magnetic pull between these couldn’t be ignored and the more they tried the stronger it grew but, will he ever tell her how addicted he is to her, will she admit that she loves her husband, she finds friendship with him, they both find love with each other, and do they find happiness somewhere along the way?

Savage Vows is the second installment of Titans: Moretti Mafia. A full-length standalone novel with no cheating or cliffhanger and guaranteed happily-ever-after. The story interconnected with characters from the previous book making appearances that enhances the story. A brilliantly written story with complex individuals and a twisty storyline that grabs the audience attention from the start and keeps you hooked and turning the pages until the end. A fast paced, dark and twisted read. A definite page turner with enticing erotic scenes that will have you gasping for air. An unputdownable and addicting read. This is Matteo and Alessia story which told from a dual point of view.

Alessia has spent her life resisting the weight of her family’s expectations, never wanting to be part of that world. But when she’s told she’s to marry the eldest son of a rival mafia dynasty, she does the only thing she can and she runs. Fleeing to Europe, she hopes to carve out a life of her own, far away from the gilded cage waiting for her back home. But Matteo Moretti isn’t the kind of man to take no for an answer. When he finally tracks her down, he literally sweeps her off her feet and straight back into the world she tried so hard to escape. Matteo is all about duty, but beneath his ruthless exterior lies a man who ignites something deep and irresistible in Alessia. Despite her resentment, she finds herself drawn to him, caught between the fire of their undeniable attraction and the fear of being just another pawn in a game of power. And oh, their chemistry! Their passion burns hot, but Matteo is a man of contradictions—one moment intoxicating and irresistible, the next, cold and impenetrable. The return of Bella, whose own journey in book one gave her a unique perspective on the Moretti men, was a highlight of this book. I loved how she helped Alessia see a different side of their control—not just as dominance, but as a form of love and protection. Yet just as Alessia begins to let her guard down, tragedy strikes, and she’s left with no choice but to marry Matteo. I loved how Alessia stood by him in his darkest hour, proving she was more than just a reluctant bride. Her care and loyalty revealing the depth of her feelings. However, though she thought they could build something real, Matteo lets the weight of his new position consume him. Where once he couldn’t keep his hands off her, now she seems to be an afterthought, leaving Alessia questioning if she’s now trapped in a loveless marriage. When Alessia decides she won’t settle for being forgotten, Bella steps in once again, and together, they devise a plan that forces Matteo to confront what he’s about to lose. Let’s just say, you don’t see a mafia Don grovel very often —but when Matteo does, it’s worth it. If you love strong heroines, complex antiheroes, and mafia romance, you need this sizzling, emotional rollercoaster that grabs you with a whirlwind of passion, power, and undeniable chemistry.

"I've never met a woman like her, and there's no way I'll ever let her go."

Enjoyable, solid arranged marriage Mafia romance. In some ways it was the story was pretty predictable without any real suprises, but the characters and Sierra's writing make up for it. The book was kind of cut in half, with the first part better than the second.

Matteo is a traditional hot, dominant Mafia hero although he did have a few unexpected qualities in the first half. I was actually impressed with how he handled Alessia, his reluctant fiance, Unfortunately after the half-way point he regressed to a typical, self-involved alpha-hole, with Alessia responding is a predictable manner.

Fortunately he finally gets his act together, although it was a bit rushed and I was kind of disappointed she didn't make him grovel more. There's a bit of a series cliffhanger but Matteo and Alessia get their solid hea, so no worries there. I haven't read the bonus epilogue yet but am really looking forward to it. And Dante is next. He's actually my favorite so I'm really excited about that.

There are tons of spoilers for book one so be warned. But if you're OK with that then this can easily be read as a standalone. And there's even an appearance by Rafe Sterling, along with a few Easter eggs, which is typical in her books and always appreciated. I love how all these books exist in the same world Sierra has created, a world I feel almost a part of after all these years.

My duty. My bride. My obsession.

I'm Matteo, a Mafia prince, and I always choose duty over love.

And that includes making Alessia my wife—even though she’s run away to escape our union.

She’s beautiful. Artistic. Innocent. Fierce. The daughter of a rival family. And she’s mine.

But the more I taste her, I become consumed, obsessed.

I’ll do anything to keep her safe and protected. Even if it destroys us both.

This contemporary Moretti mafia romance is page-turning with exceptional world-building that is engulfed by darkness, danger, violence, and grit, and characters that are exuding power, obsessive, possessive, dangerous, violence, captivating, and realistic. Their journey is enthralling with savage vows, explicit romance that is consumed by steamy, sizzling passion, lust, desire, and spice with all the feelings to leave readers breathless and begging for more, drama, heartfelt emotions, a mafia prince, deception, forced marriage, action, adventure, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with savage vows and explicit mafia romance that is sure to transport readers into a world that is wildly dangerous and unforgettable.

When Matteo finds his bride-to-be has fled the country, he personally goes to bring her back. Alessia knows her father has arranged for her to marry Matteo and strengthen their power in the Mafia family, but she wants nothing to do with it. She wants to live her life and spend it with someone of her choosing, not her father’s. Matteo is being groomed by his father to be the next head of the family. Although he’s not ready, he knows a married leader will be seen as a strong leader.

Alessia—unwillingly—returns home with Matteo and begins her life with him planning their wedding. Matteo is doing what he can to make his and Alessia’s union bearable at the least. And Alessia sees that he’s trying to show that he does care about her. As much as Alessia doesn’t want to admit it, his actions show that he’s not the monster she originally thought him to be. Both Matteo and Alessia have family baggage. As they get to know each other, they see more than what’s on the surface for each other. I love Alessia’s strength and stubbornness, and Matteo did, too. Even if he won’t admit it to anyone.

This was a beautifully written love story, and you know Sierra will bring the heat between these two. I’m enjoying this series and can’t wait for the next installment.

Savage Vows is a satisfying mafia romance. It hits many of the beats of the genre while adding in a few twists I didn’t expect. Alessia is a mafia daughter, but not a mafia princess. She wants nothing to do with the lifestyle and instead pursues her interests in art and painting. But her marriage has been arranged with the son and heir of another family, and there’s no way Matteo’s letting her out of this—not when both their families’ reputations and territories hinge on it.

I loved the way Cartwright presented this marriage as a crucial business arrangement for both sides. Of course, Matteo moved from practicality to mad desire pretty darned fast. Alessia struggles much more with their relationship in large part due to the taste of freedom from responsibilities that she’s had. Both are strong, fascinating characters, and I read this book at a fast clip due to that.

I also liked that Cartwright introduced unexpected plot elements and themes that look to move through this series. There were things that happened that make sense in terms of the mafia lifestyle but that we don’t often see directly in these stories. So I had a great time reading this addition to the Moretti Mafia series.

Savage Vows is the second story in the Titans: Moretti Mafia series. I thought this book to be quite suspenseful and is definitely a page turning mafia romance. Savage Vows had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading the book. I also did NOT want to set my phone down until I read the last page. Savage Vows is phenomenally written, well balanced and beautifully executed by Sierra Cartwright. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I was completely blown away with the amazing story. Savage Vows has a marvelous plot, wonderful characters and a breathtaking ending for the main characters. The main characters of this story are Alessia and Matteo. I immediately fell in love with both of the main characters right at the beginning of the book. This book is completely captivating from beginning to end. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. I’m definitely going to checkout more of this author’s work in the future. Savage Vows is a book that I would gladly recommend to anyone who is looking for a mafia romance book to read.

She can run but she can't hide and soon she is not sure she still wants to.
An arranged marriage between two powerful mafia families as been made. As heir apparent, Matteo is in total agreement with the merger, his soon-to-be wife Alessia is not. Having grown up in a mafia family, she wants nothing to do with her family or the mafia. So she runs to Britain to live her life in an artist commune, leaving Matteo to find her. But she has covered her tracks well – at least until she made a not well thought out social media post. That was Matteo needed, and soon Alessia finds herself back in the USA. While Alessia is determined to escape back overseas, Matteo is prepared to do his duty and nothing more. Neither expected to be attracted to each other. But as tragedy and danger rear their heads, they both soon find their mutual attraction to be coming something else. Their chemistry is off the charts. A very good read for sure. While this story is easily a stand-alone story, the author gave enough of a tease to the next book to leave the reader wanting more.

What happens when two very strong-willed, passionate people are forced together by the world in which they were born, when one is driven by its expectations and responsibilities and the other by a deep desire to forge a new life outside of that world? We get another exciting installment in the Titans’ saga. At the beginning of the story it’s hard to imagine how the desires driving each of the main characters could ever be reconciled into a love story, yet in Sierra Cartwright’s magical hands, Alessia and Matteo are inevitable. The arranged marriage between them was rocky, but the strong ties of family and friends, and each character’s (eventual) willingness to be honest with themselves and each other about their feelings, not to mention the very hot scenes and strong emotions they shared, brought them together in the end. We can always count on Sierra to deliver a top-shelf story, and Savage Vows is all of that and more.

Sometimes fate plays it magical ending!
I consider Matteo is all about family as he heads to England to get his runaway fiancée, Alessia, not because he wants to marry, but because it is arranged for the better of the family. Alessia has never felt more alive than living in her art commune, away from her family, but unfortunately that all ends when Matteo steals her away to bring her home. Yet from the moment Matteo has Alessia, he stands up for her in front of her father and does things to gain her trust like retrieve her artists supplies and make a an art studio for her at his home. When he asks for a quick wedding, I was surprised by Alessia’s response in the turmoil at the hospital. The sparks between the two have you hoping that they will make their way to a happily ever after but Matteo’s burying himself in work will have you screaming at him to wake up and smell the roses before it’s too late! Will Matteo redeem himself in Alessia’s eyes? You have to rad to find out!

Savage Vows is the second book in the Titans: Moretti Mafia series. This is Alessia DeLuca and Matteo Moretti’s story.

Alessia fights hard to get out of an arranged marriage to Matteo. Of course she couldn’t get away with that. Matteo goes in search of Alessia and brings her home, his home.

There’s nothing like reading a good mafia romance in my opinion and I really enjoyed reading Alessia and Matteo’s story. Even though this is the second book and I haven’t read the first book (yet). I was easily able to read Savage Vows as a standalone. I do want to go back and read book 1 and it is on my TBR list.

I loved this book and I am also looking forward to reading the next book, Merciless Vows. But it looks like there will be a little wait for it. That will give me time to read Vengeful Vows, the first book in this mafia series.

Savage Vows by Sierra Cartwright is a very well written and well-paced mafia romance. It drew my interest from page one and kept it from start to finish. The story is full of wonderfully written characters that are well rounded and really drive the story forward. Matteo and Alessia have a chemistry and a connection as they continue to grow and evolve throughout the story. Ms. Cartwright has created another story that is balanced with the right amount of romance and dilemma while bringing in the emotions of duty, love, and expectations. Savage Vows is a page-turner that keeps you anticipating what will happen next and worth the read. Savage Vows is book 2 of Titans: Moretti Mafia Series but can be read as a standalone.

Another sure winner from Sierra Cartwright! Intense, focused writing, great characters and plenty of spice. Key ingredients for a damn good read!

Matteo's 'little rebel' never fails to keep this hard gangster on his toes. She's been trying to escape his clutches for a long time but when finally returned to her rightful place by his side, Alessia slowly falls under his magnetic spell.

There's a feeling of two halves with this story. The first is developing the relationship between the two MCs, then it gets serious as Matteo becomes the Don and starts to neglect Alessia. But Alessia finds her own way to remind her husband that their relationship is just as important as his with the family.

Brimming with heat and heartache. Loved it! High four stars from me!.

Savage Vows is the 2nd book in the Moretti Mafia series but can easily be read and enjoyed as a standalone. Matteo and Alessia's romance starts out as an arranged marriage neither really wants. Yet from their 1st meeting, the attraction is there, fairly leaping off the pages and the more they discover about each other, the more they fall for each other. I loved their interactions, the steamy sexy times and 'funishments' as well as the conversations. There are also a number of very bittersweet moments, a lot of danger and some tough decisions before they find their personal HEA while the threat against the Morettis continues. I'm looking forward to Dante's story next.

I must say, this is one of my favorite reads from Sierra Cartwright.

Matteo and Alessia have had an arranged marriage in order to ensure strength and power among their respective families. This union fortifies their positions among the whole Family. Except Alessia ran from that agreement, that life. Matteo made it his priority to find her and solidify their union, quickly.

Once Matteo locates Alessia, he brings her home, against her wishes. He soon explains their relationship. She can submit or he’ll do it for her. But the two soon realize that maybe there’s more at play.

Can he be her shelter from life, can she be the partner he needs to rule?

The couple found their way to each other. No drama, just life’s obstacles.

While Matteo is okay with his upcoming arranged marriage, his intended bride to be, Alessia, is not. She wants nothing to do with her mafia family or the marriage so she runs away. Of course, you know Matteo is going to find her and bring her home and while she still fights to leave again, danger comes. They never intended to mean anything to each other but they discover they really do mean something to each other. Will they be able to stay together when danger comes for them or will she escape and go back overseas to get away from all things Mafia? The whole story sucked me in from the first and didn't let go until I finished the book. Sierra Cartwright is one of my go to authors for steamy stories!

Sierra Cartwright's new 5 star release, Savage Vows, is a hot, sexy, mafia romance with all the feels. I loved the strength of all the characters and their growth as the relationships evolve. I appreciate their chemistry was intense from the very beginning. Nothing non-consensual even though the mafia marriage was arranged. The sex is steamy, detailed and well described. The sexy men are powerful and consuming and the women they love are strong and self assured. Mature, Deep relationships eventually resolve with a fulfilling hea! I devoured this and could not put it down! The feelings are so relatable. No youthful, childish, annoying angst. Realistic and relatable depictions.
A must read to feel the steam and chemistry to understand the journey and commitments.

Matteo Moretti and Alessia DeLuca are supposed to get married to forge an alliance between their families and also strenghten their position in the broader 'families'. There's a problem - Alessia doesn't want to get married - to anyone - but least of all to someone in the mafia world. She wants to stay in England, where she's run off to, and paint; well, that's not going to happen. Matteo tracks her down and brings her back to Houston, where he thinks she belongs.
What neither of them count on is attraction, a pesky emotion that gets in the way, and blurs the lines between love, hate and duty.

An easy read and good follow up to the first book in the series.

His Little Rebel...

Matteo Moretti is a natural leader, and his #1 rule is famiglia always comes first. There is no question in his mind that he needs to do what it takes to secure strong relationships with the other mafia families. Matteo manages his emotions to perfection, but when he meets his bride to be, he falters for the first time in his life.

Alessia is strong, feisty, caring, loyal and very beautiful. Their arranged marriage starts off very rocky, but as they get to know each other's true selves, the realization that they are meant to be together finally is realized. I loved this story, and I cannot wait to read the next one in the series, Merciless Vows.

I absolutely loved reading this book I was hooked I couldn't put it down, the story was written well with great depth and the characters were sensational. Matteo Moretti, he needs to marry he scary in ruthless, dangerous, dominant, Mafia Prince. Alessia has taken off and gone in hiding from her father after being told who she is marrying. Alessia has heard bad things about her fiance but Matteo will search for her and try and win her over into a HEA...

Alessia and Matteo, where do I start? She was meant to be in an arranged marriage but she managed to escape and remain hidden for quite a while. She followed her desires to be an artist.
He locates her and takes her back to the USA. Yes, he is tough with her but he also does sweet things for her
Lots of spice, much angst, tragedy and guilt. These two are delicious and I highly recommend reading their journey to a HEA.

This is the second book in the Moretti Titans: Mafia series. Matteo Moretti is in line to become Don & his bride-to-be wants out of the Mafia life. Alessia DeLuca is an artist & wants to be free from the expectations of the life she grew up in. I liked that Alessia fit in with the family and kept her budding relationship with Matteo separate—she wasn’t a brat but was aware she deserved more from her marriage. Loved seeing Rafe Sterling—again—support the Moretti men to get their heads on straight. A steamy, emotional story.

This book is everything I have come to expect from Sierra Cartwright. Well-written characters, great storyline, sizzle, steam, action, drama, and more. Alessia runs to get out of an arranged marriage to Matteo. She wants out of the mafia life and wants nothing to do with it or with him. But Matteo will do his job for his family and goes to find his bride-to-be. There he discovers the perfect woman for him and he wants her. A sizzling 5-star read for me.

I enjoyed getting to read Matteo and Alessia’s story. The two make a great couple and it was nice to see how they fight for what they could have. As Matteo deals with family issues, he must also find a way to show Alessia what he will do to keep their relationship true. The two must learn to trust each other and find how strong they could be. It was nice to see the softer side of Matteo and the strength in Alessia. Their story moves along nicely and is full of emotions. I was quickly pulled in to their story and engaged all the way to the end.
