I found this a helpful and accessible book for learning about nonverbal learning disorder. There are lots of suggestions for parents and caregivers that I've not read elsewhere. There were times in the book when it was clear that the author had some axes to grind, and she seemed to see her child as the definitive "NVLD" kid, so this is not an objective or clinical tome. I found suggestions here for several other books, including Nonverbal Learning Disabilities at Home and Nonverbal Learning Disabilities at School by Pamela Tanguay that are extremely practical guides.
I will frequently refer back to this book! It's easy to read and understand and very practical, I've recommended it to some of my son's teachers. It's much easier to help someone with a disability when you understand how it manifests in day to day living.
