Teresa you were correct!

I ordered the book because I know the author's wife really well. I started reading and couldn't put it down. Finished it in one sitting.

I couldn't put it down! The characters were believable enough to make me want to read more. Loved the way it ended.

Starts with a man killing a dog(!) so I wasn't going to like it. BUT, interesting tale well told. Late-in-book cussing, sex, with non-gory violence thru-out. Well-edited Kindle vers, TTS-enabled, free on Amazon. Damsel in distress, bad cops vs. good ones, like the gramma's part.☺
