This is a dark romance standalone. Please read TWS and CWS inside the book. This is the second book in the Tears Duet, you don't need to read Silent Tears to read this book, but it is highly recommended you do so.
Hello I am Sasha R.C. I am a dark romance author. I love anything that has to do with Dark Romance. The Darker the Better. Some of my Favs are: The Ritual, The Sinner, Church, Den of Vipers, and The Sacrifice
I am currently writing many different dark romance standalones
This was my first Sasha R.C. book, and let me just tell you, it did not disappoint. Blood Tears is about Ty and Lyric's story, it is a dark romance that focuses on physical and mental abuse, torture, rape and SA, all of this is lived by the FMC but not with the MMC, if you are triggered by these themes, please tread lightly. There is also cheating, you understand and are happy that it happens, but it can be triggering to some people. You will also find mutilation and unaliving. Blood Tears is really emotional, and you feel a lot for the FMC, it has a lot of character building, and you get to know the characters well and see them grow and try to overcome their traumas. Ty is just amazing the way he is there for Lyric throughout every thing that happens to her, it's just hot and the possessiveness he feels even before they get together, uuuufffff... Lyric is an amazing character, despite all the damage and trauma she has suffered along the years, she still gets the strength to try and overcome it, it's really amazing. I will definitely read more of Sasha books for sure.
Please read triggers at the beginning of the book! I absolutely loved reading Ty and Lyric’s story! Lyric is on the run hiding from her abusive husband, she stays to long in one place because she is in love with Ty and he has found her. Ty who has been following, and helping Lyric from the shadows. Ty who is in love with Lyric as well swoops in to help her, save her and be there for her in any way he can be. The spice between these two is hot 🥵. I absolutely loved that Christian was in the book as well! Ed is a disgusting villain and Lyric and Ty get their justice. Definitely recommend, it can be read as standalone or you can read Silent Tears then Blood Tears.
I loved this book. Ty and Lyrics' love story is beautiful. Lyric suffered abuse from her husband, who is a cop, for years. He finds her while working at the bar in the casino. Ty decides he is done loving her from the shadows and immediately takes Lyric into his arms. This is a great book, but please check the trigger warnings at the beginning of the book! I definitely recommend this book!
Beautiful love story with Spice and twists and turns
This is a story of two people who come from traumatic pasts and watch each other from afar as they attempt to hide and fight their feelings.
All that comes crashing down when Lyric's past catches up to her and send Ty into protection, obsessive overdrive. It also finally shatters the walls that they've tried so hard to hide behind.
There's plenty of spice, lots of twists and turns, and in true Sasha fashion villains that are in redeemable are dealt with as seemed fit.
Definitely check the trigger and content warnings. There are literally three separate places before the book starts to advise what's about to be laid out throughout the book. This one is definitely lighter than Silent Tears but definitely are the far end of dark romance.
Blood Tears is the second book in the Tears duet. You don’t have to read Silent Tears but it’s recommended. ⚠️ Read your TWs⚠️ If that’s your thing 😉 My heart broke for what Lyric went through, unfortunately it is something relatable to a lot. How could you not fall in love with Ty and Lyric’s story? It’s everything I hoped it would be. Ty would do any and everything to keep Lyric safe and in the book it’s not just from a distance. The characters, the plot and the spice.🤌🏼😮💨 I love this author’s writing style and the way she just brings it all together. 🖤
There are two men completely obsessed with the female lead in Blood Tears. One is a police officer, and one is a criminal and known killer. It would be easy to assume the police officer was the good guy in this story, but when it comes to the men in Lyrics' life, both the past and present, it's clear he is the villain in her story. Ed, Lyric's husband, may be a police officer, but he is anything but good; he is abusive and sadistic, and with the help of his friend Thomas, he has caused Lyric untold amounts of pain and suffering over the years, until one night she managed to get free. Now, years later, when she's finally starting to find happiness with Ty, Ed emerges from the shadows, ready to reclaim what he believes is his. Only he underestimates the kind of man Ty is, or just how much Ty loves Lyric; there is nothing Ty won't do for his girl. This is an incredibly dark story, with some very harrowing moments depicted on the page regarding the abuse Lyric has been subjected to. The author did a very clever thing, and rather than it just being a case of Lyric telling about her suffering, she uses nightmares so we as a reader can experience it, but then she also includes the husband's POV so we can understand the mental workings of Lyric's sadistic husband. It made it clear to the reader just how wrong Ed was as a person because we could compare the moments with Ed with those of Ty and Lyric, where yes, things were primal and not gentle, but everything between Ty and Lyric is consensual and an extension of their love. Ty sees Lyric as the most important person to him, and Ed sees her as a possession. The differing POVs of not just the main characters but also the inclusion of Christian from the first book in the duet helped to understand the storyline and the feelings of each character. There were some foreign words and phrases used throughout, and it can be a little distracting, but the author does include a list of terms as a glossary, which helps. It may seem a little bit like some thoughts and feelings were repetitive, but I think it was a clever tactic used by the author to emphasise just how obsessed the men were with their women.
This book was so good! This is my first book i have read by Sasha R.C and what a great way to be introduced! It's been a while since i have read a dark romance, usually the plot draws me in but the book falls flat but Sasha DELIVERED! Obviously this book does include TW, this is advised before reading the first chapter. These triggers are shown on page, by a past memory/ nightmare and in present time too
We are introduced to Lyric and Ty, both very strong MC's that have suffered from traumatic pasts and in Lyric's case the present. It was easy to connect with them both , Lyric was far from weak, she had been through so much and had a lot of trust in Ty, he was her safe place she trusted in the promises he set. Ty is shown to be a possessive (in a good way) and very protective of his woman, he was the perfect book boyfriend. I did feel for him, he was vulnerable at times, at breaking point but had to remain strong to protect Lyric
I really liked the style of writing, very easy to read and get into. Usually I'm not keen on jumping back in time but it was written in a way where it blended in with story and doesn't cause confusion, if anything it gave a better understanding on their past history and connected us more with Lyric and Ty. This is written in multiple POV, at first it was confusing but worked very well as that really helped me connect to them and understood the situation from their perspective. Sasha honestly had me hooked and gripped page by page, i couldn't put it down!
Only issue was the going back and forth to find the translations as some words and sentences are in a different language, but Sasha does give the list of translations at the beginning, it doesn't affect the read at all
A huge plus, Sasha kept it realistic, Ty and Lyric's trauma and battles didn't disappear once it was over. They were still overcoming their past, and together started their healing journey. I need more of Lyric and Ty! 5/5!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I absolutely loved this book. The way Sasha tied it all together after silent tears was brilliant.
Ty has watched lyric for years and never said anything just silently watched and protected her from behind the scenes. He has his own broken past and comes from his own hardships that have kept him from ever making a move.
Lyric comes from a very traumatic past and is in fact running from it but she has also always noticed Ty. She also never made a move on him because of her trauma.
That it until something from her past brings them together to finally confess to each other how they have felt for so long.
Fighting against the danger that lurks in the shadows together proves to them that no matter what even if it’s two broken people they can come towards to make one whole one.
I really like the way Ty was written his protective side was so good. My favorite is when he pulls lyric behind him against his back and hold her with his arm essentially blocking her from whatever is there. Swoon! 😍😍 I do wish we could have had a little more of his back story in this book like how he came to Christian and what made him the way he is with his blood list but even with out that his character depth was so good.
The way she writes the trauma and aftermath of these female characters puts you right in it. Makes you almost feel what they feel, and it’s so heartbreaking 💔
Sasha is a very skilled writer at getting emotions across on paper that otherwise would be hard to do. I loved this book. ❤️
Lyric ran from an abusive marriage to start over. While she is starting over she catches the attention of Ty, a crazy unaliver, who takes down sex trafficking rings. He is protective, obsessive and dangerous. But he has a soft spot for her, and her alone! He falls for her first hard! He is on a mission to protect and eliminate the sleazy, abusive, cop ex-husband and ex husband’s friend of the girl he is in love with, even if it will cost him his life. He will burn down the world to protect Lyric.
All in all, I enjoyed all of the spicy scenes and the storyline of this book.
The one thing I didn’t appreciate was that I had to look up what they were saying during their monologues since they would switch from speaking one language to another often, but the author did give a translation reference in the beginning of the book. Personally, that frustrated me, but it didn’t take way from the book. I feel like that is just more a personal preference. I do understand the author did that to add to the character’s persona and spice.
Do not except lots story building plot from this spicy book, but do expect to have wet sheets while reading. 😉
I highly recommend it to someone in the mood to read a spicy, dark, romantic read.

I got to read this book being an ARC for it. I enjoyed it. It dove into the 2 characters Lyric & TY's love for each other. The book does mention area's that might be sensitive to readers so be aware and check the trigger warnings. One thing I didnt like is I felt it was redundant and repetitive when it came to the characters love stories. Something would happen and TY came running to Lyric every second and then the chapter would go on describing their love for each other. That's what felt redundant to me. It gave a little backstory for each so you can have a better understanding of where they came from. For instance, Lyric was married to a very controlling, abusive, narcissistic man but never told TY about him. If she would have, some of the situations could have been avoided. BUT keeping information from characters is a common trait in a lot of love stories so it works in this.
One thing that I do appreciate is that she put a playlist at the beginning of the book. I wish she would have incorporated the song list into the book so that way the reader knew why that song was chosen and for that specific scene.
I love when authors add playlist. It introduces the reader to new songs/authors they may not usually listen to.
Blood Tears is the second book in Sasha’s Tears duet, they are both interconnected stand-alones but I recommend reading silent tears first as the characters do form part of this story. This is a dark romance so as always please ensure you’re reading the TWs and CWs before reading.
Morally grey has to be my favourite colour and boy does Ty Marchetti fit the description. He has loved Lyric from a far for years and he will literally go to the end of the earth to keep his girl safe. If someone looks, speaks or touches his little fighter in the wrong way it’s lights out for them.
Lyric has been on the run for years and finally settled in New York working at a Casino under Ty’s watchful gaze. Then just when she thought she finally built a life she was content with Lyric’s past comes back to haunt her.
This book is dark, twisted and spicy in all the ways a dark romance reader expects and then some. Sasha has once again delivered a book with disgusting villains and a hero with a primal kink who deals with his anger issues wearing a mask and a leather hooded vest. Honestly what else is there to love?
Prepare to be taken on a journey of self-discovery as you delve into the pages of this captivating book. While it may not have been a perfect fit for me, I found myself uncovering hidden aspects of my own psyche along the way. The exploration of abuse towards the female character served as a powerful trigger, reminding me of the importance of self-care. I urge you to take note of any trigger warnings and make decisions that prioritize your well-being.
Intriguingly, the inclusion of enchanting Italian phrases added an extra layer of depth to the story. Although they presented a challenge, I relished in the sentiment behind each phrase. Admittedly, I had to frequently refer back to the beginning to fully grasp the longer expressions, but the effort was well worth it.
In the end, this book stands as a solid four-star read. It may not have been my personal cup of tea, but it has the potential to entrance and captivate readers who appreciate a thought-provoking journey.
I’d like to thank Sasha RC and her team for allowing me to be an arc reader. I look forward to reading the rest of your books!
This book! Holy Moly!! I absolutely love Ty! I love the fact that Sasha even added Christian from Silent Tears into this book as well! Lyric deserves Ty he’s the best thing to ever happen to her!! Tropes: - [ ] Touch her and die - [ ] Mafia - [ ] Revenge - [ ] I will burn the world for you - [ ] Possessive - [ ] Dominant - [ ] Primal - [ ] Masked morally gray MMC - [ ] Stalking - [ ] DV - [ ] Praise kink Blurb: Ty- Crime, Violence, and misery Three things I know very well. I promised myself that I would never let anyone get close to me. But then I saw her Lyric I have watched her for years I can’t deny my need for her, my desire I need to protect her at any cost. I have killed for her, tortured for her. There is nothing I will not do to keep her safe. She is mine, she has always been mine. If she dies, I die. If she lives, I will live with her. Her husband thinks he owns her He has no idea who I am. But he is about too.
This was solid, smutty goodness with just enough plot to reel you in and keep you there. Blood Tears is a standalone dark revenge romance that hits all the triggers buttons if you like that kind of thing. (PLEASE CHECK THE TWs - for your own health).
I couldn't put this book down because I had to know what the hell was going on. Each chapter was a cliffhanger on its own, so it was hard to stop. I had to know the revenge was gotten, because the real villain really deserved it.
Thanks for the opportunity, Sasha. You have a unique way of writing from a character's POV that isn't seen usually. The book dwells in the character's mind and thoughts rather than focus on the conversations between the characters. One could say it distracts the reader from connecting to the characters, but I felt the character's feelings and wanted to see them through. GREAT JOB!
*Book received as ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is book 2 in the in the Tears Duet. This book is a standalone in an interconnected world. I recommend reading in order as you will see history from the couple in the first book.
****Please read the content warnings for this story. There are very dark themes and situations that could upset some readers. This is a dark romance and as such, I suggest doing your research before diving in.
This is Ty and Lyrics story.
-Mafia Romance -Revenge -M/F -Possessive and Protective MMC -Surviving an abusive relationship
Oh how I adore Ty and Lyric. His love for her knows no bounds and Ty tried to stay away. But our dear Lyric is in trouble and Ty will always protect her....Now, it's just not at a distance. He will do whatever it takes to make sure she is safe. But can he always insure that she is not in danger when his world is so full of violence? Can he keep her safe from the past or will everything come down around them.
Ugh....my heart hurt for Lyric. Her past was so violent and she did what she had to do to survive. I loved Ty and his unbiased love for Lyric. No matter what Lyric went thru, Ty would do anything for her, including sacrificing himself for her. Their relationship is beautifully told even though some of Lyrics past and even some present is hard to read. If you love a great dark (and its dark) romance with a happy ending, try this one out.
So this was my first book by Sasha and I gotta say it was a great book. It had all the dark stuff I crave in books. The touch her 💀,stalking, obsessing over her, everything. I really loved how it jumped right into the story at the beginning too. Like page 1 and there's already drama and danger. You don't get that to often in books. The spice was all there is well. I get frustrated sometimes when characters hold back from each other, granted they did hold back when they met but that part wasn't in the book. Now the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I did feel like it droned on a bit and there was a lot of repetitiveness. I mean I get it, she's your world and you're going to kill Ed. Just do it already.
All in all though, I would recommend this book and I will be reading the 1st one because I am curious to know about Christian and Nicole.

This was my first read by Sasha R.C. She had me hooked from the first page (content warnings) lol. But please read them. Lyric is running from her dirty cop husband who is very abusive to her in many ways (emotionally, mentally and physically). He even had her sign a slave contract. Do with that info as you wish! She is working for a casino where she meets Ty. Ty had eyes only for Lyric the minute he saw her. He will die for her if he has to but first he will kill everyone that touches what is his. There is a lot of spice but it works for the characters. There seemed to be a bit of repetition but the author warned this is written from the characters' perspective and how they speak or think. That also works! It was a good read. It is a standalone but there are characters from the 1st book so it may help to read that one to understand those characters a bit better.
I loved this book; it was full of intense emotions throughout the entire book. Sasha RC did such a remarkable job on this book. Ty and Lyric finally admit their love for each other after years. Lyric is a woman running from her psychotic husband Ed, who as raped, beaten and manipulated her for years. He is also a cop who thinks he above the law. Ty the protective, jealous bad boy who is a criminal and a fighter comes to her rescue when Ed finds Lyric. Ty and Lyric love each other and with the battles Lyric is fighting within herself, Ty is there to show her how a real man should treat his woman. Ty is the touch her and die kind of man which makes him all the sexier. I cannot tell you how much I loved this book. I devoured it within a few short hours. Check you triggers but if you do not have any then this is a fantastic read.
- [ ] Touch her and die - [ ] Mafia - [ ] Revenge - [ ] I will burn the world for you - [ ] Possessive - [ ] Dominant - [ ] Primal - [ ] Masked morally gray MMC - [ ] Stalking - [ ] Praise kink This was my first book by Sasha, and it won’t be my last! This book is about Ty and Lyric. This book has strong abuse warnings, so please read all trigger warnings! Ty’s character is a complete loner and doesn’t want a women in his life until he meets Lyric. Unknowing, she is already married and she is running from her cop husband who is a POS who used to beat her and degrade her. But he wants her back and Ty refuses to let that happen.
The ending of this book was chefs kiss! So amazing!
This is a dark romance standalone. Please read TWS and CWS inside the book. This is the second book in the Tears Duet, you don't need to read Silent Tears to read this book, but it is highly recommended you do so. This book follows Ty and Lyric’s story. Lyric is on the run and hiding from her abusive husband. In doing so she ends up working at a club close to Ty. Ty falls hard for her but holds his feelings back until Lyric is badly beaten by her husband. That is when Ty protective and violent nature is first seen. The story is well written and develops properly. It was nice that a translation log was given but irritating at the same time. Because I would have to go back and forth to understand what was being said. The spicy scenes were could but could have been better.
A little hard to stay interested in. Great plot. Great way at explaining the characters well, so we can learn who they are. Morally grey. Mafia. “Touch her and die”. Possessive MMC. I don’t mind the “fuck” and “fucking” used all the time- these are some of my favorite words and it was mentioned before starting. BUT I had a hard time staying involved with this book because of the repetitive-ness and dragging along. There is Italian mixed into this. So you may have to translate, or there’s a page in the beginning with the translations. Overall a good book, I would recommend. I think I have just read so many “wow what did I just read” books that this was a little boring for me.
I loved reading about Ty and Lyric in bits and pieces in Christian and Nichole’s book (silent tears). Ty has watched over and protected and loved Lyric from afar but refuses to admit his feelings to anyone especially her. They both dance around each other for years with out taking that step because neither are ready for each other. That is until Lyric is attacked.
Lyrics husband has been searching for her for years. Always one step behind her until she gets comfortable and stays in one place too long. He is determined to take her home no matter who gets in his way.
Mind your triggers if you have them as there are a few in this book. But it’s so good
I loved this one actually more than book 1! This book was fantastic! Emotional, and spicy. I couldnt put it down!!! Definitely recommend for dark mafia romance lovers, as long as the trigger warnings are a go for them!
This Dark romance just like book one needs to have the trigger warnings heeded! This romance has the possessive mafia MMC running to rescue the FMC. The romance between the MCs is steamy, and intense. The experiences the FMC goes through is heartbreaking, but the MMC gentleness and understanding is heartwarming. This book has multiple POV including MCs from Book 1. The book moves at a fairly quick pace, keeping you flipping each page to find out whats happening next.
If you treat trigger warnings like shopping list this is one you'll enjoy indulging in. However, if you are sensitive to S/A & D/V this is definitely not something I would recommend. Lyric (fmc) suffers some pretty horrible things at the hands of her estranged husband. She ran from him for many years but he eventually found her and proceeded with a twist plan to get her back. But luckily for her she has Ty (mmc) in her corner to help protect and defend her at all costs. Ty is everything a dark romance girlie loves. He's possessive, obsessive, dark, has a primal k!nk, wears a mask, and literally will k!ll anyone he touches her.
Some Spoilers!! I got the ARC for this book! I read Silent Tears first, and I am glad I did! Reading Christian and Nicole's story made me really appreciate Ty and Lyric's story. If you love a strong mafia possessive MMC, she is mine, masked MMC, touches her and die vibes, and then this book is for you! Ty is a protector and a lover. Lyric has been through so much trauma with her abusive husband that she is timid and untrusting of people except Ty. I loved how their relationship grew, and Ty was patient and just knew what she needed to help her cope with the trauma. Lyric was there as well to help Ty with his bloodlust and demons. Their love is what saved them both!

Where do I begin? Oh yea, check those trigger warnings! This author definitely puts the DARK in dark romance, and I am definitely here for it. In Silent Tears, I fell in love with Christian and Nicole's relationship, but Ty and Lyric's was even better! Lyric is running from an abusive husband, and the devil that is Ty swoops in as her knight with the mask and hooded vest!!! I loved everything about this book. The characters, the plot, the spice, just everything! I gave this one 5 stars beings I was used to the author's writing technique this go around. I also loved how Christian and Nicole had appearances in this one as well. Can't wait to read more by this author 👌🙌
I was given the chance by Sasha as an ARC reader to read this book, Blood Tears, and I will tell you, she did not disappoint. This is my first time reading any of her books, and Lyric and Ty's story is beautiful. Their connection, their love, everything. When I was reading this book, my mind went to the song Morally Grey because that song describes Ty perfectly. Lyric is strong and caring and Ty will do anything for her. Yes, there are triggers so please read those. This was my first time reading a book from Sasha, and if given the opportunity, I will happily read another one of hers again.
First off please read the trigger warnings before starting this book! This book will not be for everyone! It contains very dark themes that could be triggering to some! Lyric and Ty’s story is just as I knew it would be Amazing! The hell these two had to go through to be together just made their love that much stronger! So glad Ed go what he deserved!! For Lyric to have went through the things she did with Ed and still be able able to love and trust another man so just how strong she truly is! The unconditional love Ty has for her is so heartwarming! That man stopped at nothing to protect and prove his love for Lyric! I was left wanting more if their story!!!
This is a dark romance standalone. Please read TWS and CWS inside the book. This is the 2nd book in the Tears Duet. U don't need to read Silent Tears to read this book, but it is highly recommended that u do so. Ur gonna wanna read Silent Tears to know the charters cause they all are in book 2.
I absolutely loved this book. Ty and Lyric's story is amazing, and they had so many obstacles in their way. I absolutely loved how Sasha included Christian and Nicole in this book. This book starts off where Silent Tears ends, so it just keeps goin. If u love dark romance, ur gonna love these 2 books. I can't wait for more books from Sasha.
I'm an ARC reader for Sasha RC and I have to say I have loved every book I've read of hers.
Sasha RC has another hit on her hands. Blood Tears will definitely have you in your feels. I love Ty and Lyrics story. Their story isn't an easy one there is a lot of pain and sorrow and then finally happiness in their journeys they go through. I also like the characters from the previous book Christian and Nicole are in it. You get to see them all interact with each other and the bond they have with each other.
This book will have you feeling a lot, but it is also a book you won't be able to put down til your finished!
