I am not sure why I keep buying Lynn Hagen's books - habit? Don't get me wrong. Her books are always a quick read with sex - love - and conflict. All of which makes a quick fill-in snack for a reader.
Unfortunately, they do not go past the basic level of development. Characters are flat and the plot is always on the same arc.
This one lacked even a basic connection between the main characters so 2 or 2.5/5.

loved it!
Short and sweet! However I need to know what happens afterwards!
So I loved it. Even if it did feel a little rushed. Points to the plot though because it was *chefs kiss*. Now I’m going to finish the entire series because I really did like it. I loved both characters and the side characters added a lot to the story.
Besides the rush, I would highly recommend this book!

Short and Easy to Read
This was a quick read with not as much world building as I like in my shifter romances. The book was quick to read, the plot easy enough to follow however there were points I wished the author went further and fleshed out the story more. The extended cast of characters made the story interesting.

Awesome action
Series starting out on a great book!!!! I love Lynn Hagen's books so reading this series was s no brainer!!!!! This one starts out fast & furious & keeps going - you do get some laughs & of course lovin what else would you expect with a big ole bear that's a big ole teddy bear to his mate!!!!!

Me gusto, se me hizo muy fácil de leer y muy rápido, pero me quede con gusto a poco. Creo que daba para más si algunas cositas no hubieran pasado tan rápido, espero que se continúe un poco más su historia en los demás libros.
