Natural pesticides.

Dried or fresh basil in bags (add catnip) -- repels fleas and mosquitoes

Wet cat food mixed with baric acid and grape jelly -- gets rid of carpenter ants

Vinegar and water -- gets rid of small ants

Bay leaves on kitchen shelves, etc. -- gets rid of bugs

Lavender oil -- gets rid of fleas and ticks

Ex-lax or juicy fruit gum -- put in gopher holes to get rid of gophers or
oil of peppermit from health food store, put on cotton ball and put in gopher hole

Put a transistor radio in gopher holes or mole holes -- they don't like sound

Make a pet flea collar by using citrus oil or lavendar oil on leather collar -- treat collar every two weeks.
