Rate this book
The exciting sequel to "The Island of Dr. Moreau," H. G. Wells's fantasy/horror tale of a rogue scientist obsessed with turning beasts into humans. The sudden and mysterious death of Edward Prendick only seven years after escaping the horrors of Dr. Moreau's diabolical island has left many unanswered questions. Now his nephew, Charles, is on a quest half way around the world to find the answers. We hear Charles recount in his own words his adventures as he retraces his uncle's haunting odyssey, and watch as fate inflicts upon him terrors equaling any Edward endured. Be transported back to the times and the world of Wells's classic and beloved novels and discover Moreau's incredible last -- and first -- secret in "The Pride of Dr. Moreau."

A tight, edgy ,visual sequel to HG Wells dark fantasy/ horror book The Island of Dr. Moreau, written by novice author Robert Butsch.

It's no easy task to write a worthy sequel to a stand alone work by a famous modern writer. Robert Butsch has simultaneously paid homage to Mr. Wells ,and given us a good read. His style is spot on; he works with no help other than a cryptic reference to a nephew, "C. Prendick" in the original novel.

Give it a go. You won't've wasted your time.
