This not your typical reimagining of pride and prejudice. This more of who done it with lots of layers bound up with our favorite characters Darcy and Elizabeth. It begins with Mr Darcy taking his son Fitzwilliam to Netherfield to save him from his mother’s greed and machinations. There they meet Elizabeth and the Bennet’s. The blatant greed amount the families is obvious while the good and humble are less so. The story was entertaining as it kept me laughing and shaking my head throughout the entire story. Was the story realistic- no but I think that was the point. Satire is not for everyone but I loved it. I also love a good story where the bad guys get their due.
