Volume 4 picks up where volume 3 left off. Kylie has a hard time trying to figure out who she can trust. Her options seem limited and Maggie encourages her to run with Damon, Dominic's estranged brother. Kylie and Damon encounter a strange group that call themselves the original clan. The clan offers them sanctuary, but even that may not be enough to keep Kylie and her unborn children safe.
I have been writing since I was eight. I started out with poetry. Eventually, I moved on to short fantasy stories, then eventually books. I have always loved books, whether I was reading them or writing them. Books were always a perfect escape from reality. When I was growing up, I admired authors and I imagined I would eventually be one. The primary genre I write is fantasy romance. I love creating tough heroines and sexy vampires, werewolves, Fae, and every other supernatural creature I can come up with. I also write new adult romance when I am in the right mood. I want my readers to get the same joy from reading my stories that I do when I read some of my favorite authors.
This story turned into a disaster that didn't make any sense. The twist at the end was rather gratuitous & negated the whole story. I was invested in the original story but not this. There were so many new characters running around that I ended up not caring about any of them. The story should have remained with the original triangle because what happened didn't add anything to the plot. The main character obviously has a problem with saying no to any man and they apparently all want to be with her. I wish I had never started reading this.
Gah, it is getting so good. Here we find a group of 'originals' wolves that shift to human versus Weres that are human and shift to wolves. Different right? You don't know who is friend or foe anymore, but I'm liking Dakota...a lot.
