The minute I met Grayson Bennett I was charmed. I had no idea he was the billionaire boss, I'd just started working for. The minute I found out, I tried to pull back. I had reasons to need my job and rather desperately, and I couldn't risk an affair with the boss, destroying my career. I tried to stay away, I did, but our attraction was magnetic and Grayson's a man who knows what he wants, and he doesn't stop until he wins his prize. I was that prize and a willing prize at that. I fell in love, and hard, and how could I not? Grayson was nothing like what you'd expect of a man with insane amounts of money and power. He never made me feel like I was less than him, in fact, he made me feel as if I was everything to him, the reason he breathed. And he said, I made him feel whole for the first time in his life. But something happened, and the world as I knew it shattered. My heart shattered. The man I loved and trusted hurt me in ways I didn't know were possible. I will never be the same. Then suddenly life throws us back together and demands we face a common enemy, and just that easily I'm melting with his touch again, desperate to push him away and yet just as desperate to feel him close. I can feel how easily I could fall under his spell again, how easily my delicately mended glass heart could shatter all over again, how easily he could break me.I have to be strong.I will not fall in love with Grayson Bennett again. The problem is I'm not sure I ever stopped.Beautiful Betrayal is a contemporary, intensely emotional standalone romance with a HEA after a lot of struggles and misconceptions that might be upsetting to some to get there. This book contains a possessive alpha hero, plenty of explicit sexual content, and some profanity.

I loved Mia and Greyson so very much and the only thing I didn't like about this story was that it had to end. This story was a second chance romance full of feels, high in intensity, with touches of suspense to keep the plot more than a little bit interesting. The second part read like an extended epilogue and for someone who adores these two (ME!!), it was very appreciated.
3.75 stars I love a second chance romance and this one was nothing short of a fun time! I loved the dual pov and multi timelines. This was a super quick, super fun, super flirty time and y'all def need to check it out. ps it's on kindle unlimited, y'all have no excuse
This may have been the most underwhelming book I’ve read all year….my goodness! I hated everything about this book. Beautiful betrayal??? Where was the betrayal LOL? With a title like that you’d expect D R A M A. This drama was lukewarm 😒. Mia and Gray were so annoying…they went round and round and round about the same issue that wasn’t really issue because it was a LIE 😂. 375 pages of this mary go round of nonsense. Then the ADA had to be the world’s dumbest criminal ever 😒 UGH. I wasted a good Saturday on this travesty.

mini blurb — ✍🏻 Mia just started her new job as a criminal lawyer when she literally stumbles upon Grayson, they both immediately fell for eachother, but balancing their growing relationship in their working life is not easy , they menage. That, at least until a few "hiccups" gets in the way and tarnish what was between them. Years later life throws them back together and they are forced to relive their past if they wish for a future.

OOF
ngl this was a roller coaster, I love this legal drama as a genre, so I was instantly hooked from the beginning at this part of the story going on, at one point I was even a bit disappointed to know at 50%-ish we had that shocker 👀 I wished that would have happened a little more toward the end. BUT- It was interesting to have that first part with the mistery and suspence of what was going on and in the second one having to deal with the aftermath of IT.
Mia & Grayson are two really great written characters imo, I really loved them, I loved being able to having both their pov and being able to get to know them and how their mind worked and think, the writing style was unusual and especially during this "thinking times" was not linear but rather went all over the place. I felt like I was able to see myself into it. And I get most of the cons about this book are bc of this, it was a few repetitive parts, both the MCs have 2 or 3 time the same dialogue over the same problem that they're trying to working on it and I get that the reader might get bored over it. Would have preferred that those parts were cut off. At the same time I felt the end was a little too rushed, especially the very last chapters/epilogue.
The writing in this, ugh I can't put it into words but it's just not for me. One, at 23% into the book I swear a character has "lowered their lashes" at least a dozen times. What is that supposed to mean, find other ways to explain things, please I'm begging.
It also has a weird jumping past to present, we're thrown into the middle of their lives, I guess since it's second chance and all, but it's done weird. Plus one we figure out what the betrayal is that Greyson apparently did to Mia I was out. She never once talks to him about it, just accepts what she sees as fact. It's more surprising he still wants to be with her after she just accepts that he'd do those things, even though he swears up and down he didn't.
It's also trying to give like, morally grey MMC and failing. His touch her and die vibes just don't come across as believable.
Grayson is a gorgeous billionaire and an alpha male! He knows what he wants and gets it. He and Mia have such a volatile relationship. But wow! Their love is so strong! It’s like they are one person ❤️🔥❤️ “ So much going on in this interesting page turner book! I wanted to live in this book and be Mia!! 😘 This is such a passionate couple. This storyline is so well written and developed. The secondary characters add so much to this book.
“I know what he's doing and I'm profoundly affected by where we've been and how far we have come to-gether. He's right. We are two pieces of one whole, held together by love, but we have to grow each piece for a lasting bond. Because we know this now, we are stronger than ever before. We will not make the same mistakes as before. We were almost perfect and from now on, we both know that we will always be almost perfect.”
Their love is so intense! It’s the glue that keeps them together through everything they have been through!
Book #1 of March & #20 for 2024. Title: “Beautiful Betrayal” (book #1 in the Scandalous Series) by Lisa Renee Jones. Tropes: Billionaire Romance, Second Chance, Forced Proximity, Touch Her and Die. Overall Rating: 3⭐️’s for plot and 1-2🌶️ for spice. • I went into this book completely blind and had never read anything by the author before, so I had no pre-existing expectations which is a good thing because the book was fine. No great, not horrible. The chapters were super short which I appreciated, but I thought the writing was very repetitive and the book could have been shorter. I will still share some of my favorite quotes below: • 1. Page 12: “You interest me, now more than ever. I’m going to kiss you now unless you tell me to stop. I don’t think you should do that. That’s not stop, Mia. I know. Know this, Mia, the next time I kiss you, I won’t stop”. 2. Page 42: “We should go to that Italian place you love tonight. Or we could order in and eat in bed in between fucking and fucking some more”. 3. Page 137: “You fill all the empty places in this home. You fill all the empty places in me, and you’re the only one who knows they exist. Because I trust you, Mia”. 4. Page 215: “Next time you run, I swear to God, woman, you won’t run fast enough. Next time, I will catch you and I will bring you home and tie you to our bed”. 5. Page 229: “I don’t want to try to be perfect anymore. I want to revel in how imperfectly wonderful you are. You are the glue that holds all my broken pieces in place. You make me whole again”.
I’m sure this is a lovely book for some just not for me. I love a good flashback as much as the next person but I feel far far to much of this book was either in flashback or rambling mussing. So many times there would be these odd missing and the other person would say were did you go… then they would explain…… over and over and over again. So many flashbacks and DEAR GOD. Most of their actual conversations were about any and everything other than each other and their personal issues. By the end of the book I felt I knew more about ALL of the side characters than the two main characters. Like I said I’m sure it’s just me. It took me several tries to get through. Sorry
Thank you so much to the author, for the chance to review an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Blurb: I can feel how easily I could fall under his spell again, how easily my delicately mended glass heart could shatter all over again, how easily he could break me.
I have to be strong. I will not fall in love with Grayson Bennett again. The problem is I'm not sure I ever stopped.
Beautiful Betrayal is a contemporary, intensely emotional standalone romance with a HEA after a lot of struggles and misconceptions that might be upsetting to some to get there.
WARNING: This book contains a possessive alpha hero, plenty of explicit sexual content, and some profanity. Previously published as the Dirty Rich Betrayal duet
Okurrrr Miss Lisa coming in hot within the first few chapters! Guuuurrrrllll! “But know this, Mia. The next time I kiss you, I won’t stop.” And then had me in tears in chapter 8! Trigger warning - lost parent
UGH and then in all the awwww heart clenching feels. I love when a book makes me feel this way. Why is Grayson pulling so hard at my heartstrings and then pissing me off within seconds!?!? There was a lovely happy ending to this book. ♥️
I love MIGSON (Mia and Grayson) LOL
This book was intense and suspenseful ….and I’m here for it! Can’t wait to read the next in the scandalous billionaire series!
Mia is a criminal lawyer who was hired by Bennett Firm which is where she met Grayson. Grayson is a lawyer as well as the CEO and owner of Bennett Firm. From the moment that he met Mia he knew that she was the one for him and she returned his feelings until the day she believed that he betrayed, and she left his firm and his life without allowing him to explain and they haven’t spoken since.
Three years later she reappears in Grayson’s life when she uncovers a threat against him and even though their relationship imploded, she doesn’t want the same thing to happen to him. Grayson has never stopped loving Mia and he is determined to fix the misunderstandings of the past so that they can be together the way they were always meant to be.
This is a second chance at love story filled with heat, intrigue and twists as Mia and Grayson try to find their way back to each other and deal with the threat against him as well.
Beautiful Betrayal tells the story of how two people come back together after feeling betrayed by each other. They're love was stronger the second time which gave them the opportunity to not only fix what broke between them but survive enemies set to destroy them both.
It starts off with Mia arriving to Grayson's mansion to tell him something. Lisa Renee Jones does a beautiful job of portraying the raw emotions of the couple hashing out their feelings of betrayal while using flashbacks to help support thks. As the story continues we learn that they were set up and as their love reblossoms, it becomes stronger than before.
The use of suspense helps create mystery throughout the first half of the story as you learn what happened. It then creates a nail biting experience as you learn that there are outside forces trying to destroy the couples. It turns into a race to protect eachother.
This is a standalone of a 3 book series and is my favourite. Grayson is the perfect male who's understanding and caring. You can tell that he loves not only Mia but also those close to him. He also cares for his employees. Mia grows from an self conscious and insecure woman to someone who's strong enough to stand by Grayson and support him without apart.
Second chances are not always given and are hardly ever earned! Grayson and Mia had a great love, one that ignited fast but fell apart in a disarray of betrayal and pain.
When Mia gets information that leads her straight to the man who broke her heart she has to decide if another chance is something she can give.
Grayson is so yummy! I cannot think of another word because this is the only word in my head. He loves so deeply and doesn’t hold back especially when it comes to Mia. His heart belongs to her and only to her. Together these two are invincible and they need to be because things for them are about to get intense!
Book three:beautiful betrayal Part 1:of the book Grayson and Mia-main characters Ri- trying to take down Grayson Mia ex girlfriend to Grayson Mia work for Ri Ri try to get with Mia she turn him down with a knee to the balls

OK. So I'm only 15% into the book right now and I will update this review as I go. However. So far, what in the actual bleep is going on? 😶🌫️
I feel like I've started on a second book and I've missed a whole load of back story!! I get that it's multi-timeline and it flicks every couple of chapters but even so, at 15% I should have gotten some kind of information that I want, surely? The flash backs should be pertinent information that relates to the present, but I feel like every time I read a flash back, what I get is irrelevant?? So, so far, all I'm reading is an argument with multiple factors that has no back story and it's all massively overwhelming. And their relationship is boring me! It's so intense so quickly because obviously it skips the build up and starts after the fall out. You have no time to build your love for them, so you start on the high, which is really annoying and because theres no build up so theres no love from me either - I hate them both. To me, he's super childish and hot and cold, and she's a pushover... 😑
26%. They're still fighting. Everything they say is a dig or an argument or a justification. Their relationship is just based on toxicity. But we finally have some information! A very small amount mind you, but some none the less. And that information came to us in a flash back... That wasn't a different chapter as you'd expect (since pretty much everything in the past and present have been split by chapters so far) - this past event was in a 'present' chapter, just written in italics... 😬 If it doesn't improve soon, ima have to DNF it.
36%. I'm bored. I'm done. DNF. I gave it a good go. I tried. The more I read the more I dont want to. Though the arguing is done and they're finally working together and it's starting to level out. But sorry, the damage is done. RIP ☠️
dnf at 65% why they’re having the same conversation but in a different font over and over and over again. like damn, besides that, spice (that is almost every chapter but basically non existent, expect the foreplay) and Ri situation, there’s nothing else….?
in some chapters author can’t decide from which pov they’re writing and it goes like that: his father looked and me and said “…”. “…”i whispered while looking at grayson. my hand went to her back and i was listening to her speak. Like dude??!?!? confusing af.
i get that this book originally contains two books, but it’s annoying how in part two author explains each secondary character again, like we know who erik or blake are… okay? i’ve read like a billion chapters with them previously.
Unlike most romance books, this story does not begin when the two characters meet. We only learn the details of their first meeting later, in a chapter set in the past. Lisa Renee Jones is a master of alternating not only the point of view of the characters, but also the events of the present and the past, without confusing the reader. Every little detail may be important, but the reader only learns about them when the author thinks it's right, which helps to build up the tension.
Mia is a criminal attorney who works for the Bennett firm. This is where she met Grayson, who has been the CEO and owner of the firm since his father's death. Their relationship develops rapidly despite their differences, and after a couple of months they are already planning their wedding, when due to a misunderstanding Mia leaves him. A seemingly unconnected chain of events eventually leads her to sign a contract with the company of Grayson's greatest enemy.
The reader joins the story when Mia goes back to the man after a year to warn him that his enemies are plotting against him. From here we are taken on a thrilling, emotional journey. Slowly, we get to know the characters and their pasts, while the members of the Walker team make the story even more colourful as they risk themselves to protect those they believe are worthy.
Mia and Grayson must simultaneously deal with their emotions and the threat of the enemy, while life-threatening situations do not elude them. As they find each other again, one thing is not in question, the love they have for each other has not faded, and if possible, has only grown stronger. But will they be able to forgive each other, and more importantly, will they be able to forgive themselves?
Mia is a strong, independent woman who has reached her current position at the Bennetts solely thanks to her own willpower, talent and not least her knowledge. While reading, I often found myself thinking how much I respect her for what she has achieved and the way she fights. Many times, however, I was pulling my hair out at how frustrated I was with the way he overreacted. Interestingly, Lisa Renee Jones was able to write the story in such a way that although I disliked the female protagonist most of the time and disagreed with her decisions, the story still captivated me so much that overall I truly enjoyed the book.
I'm sure I'm not alone and most readers fell in love with Grayson Bennett along with me while reading the story. Although he is not perfect, he is only human and sometimes he makes mistakes, perhaps that is what makes him so appealing. He would literally sacrifice his life for the woman he loves. I don't deny that when reading a mafia story I can find myself becoming entangled with the 'morally grey' male protagonists with a somewhat questionable conscience, but I did enjoy the fact that Grayson's moral compass was very much in place.
Overall, "Beautiful Betrayal" is an exciting and emotionally intense romance novel, which I recommend to all those who like twisty plots and rich portrayals of emotions. Lisa Renee Jones' style and characters are guaranteed to take the reader on an unforgettable journey.

4.5 stars--BEAUTIFUL BETRAYAL by Lisa Renee Jones’ is a contemporary, adult DIRTY RICH romantic, suspense series focusing on thirty-eight year old, billionaire businessman and attorney Grayson Bennett, and thirty-year old, criminal lawyer Mia Cavanaugh’s story line. As per most of Lisa’s series, there is a slight cross-over with inclusion of some of the characters from the author’s Walker Security series.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Mia and Grayson) using present day and memories from the past --BEAUTIFUL BETRAYAL follows the rekindling romance between thirty-eight year old, billionaire attorney Grayson Bennett, and thirty-year old, lawyer Mia Cavanaugh. Three years earlier Mia Cavanaugh went to work for the Bennett Firm, an international conglomerate both inside and outside of the legal profession, a firm that the man with whom she would fall in love, currently owned and operated. Attorney Grayson Bennett knew immediately that Mia Cavanaugh would be the woman to tame is bachelor ways but betrayal, vengeance and mistaken beliefs pushed Mia out of his life, and into the arms of his most hated enemy. Fast forward to present day wherein Mia discovers a plan to destroy Grayson Bennett, a plan predicated on hatred and revenge. What ensues is the rebuilding romance and relationship between Mia and Grayson, and the potential fall-out as Mia is caught between the present and past, as memories threaten to destroy their fragile hold on love.
Grayson Bennett has never stopped loving Mia Cavanaugh but someone from his past has set into motion a plan to destroy our story line hero. Mia Cavanaugh doesn’t know who or what to believe as the pieces of her heart continue to rupture but protecting the man she hasn’t stopped loving is Mia’s number one priority.
The relationship between Mia and Grayson is a second chance romance; a rekindling love affair that was destroyed by mistaken beliefs, revenge and retribution. Mia continues to be a little skittish as it pertains to the man that she loves, and she isn’t above running when things begin to overwhelm. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
Blake and Kara Walker, along with IT specialist Asher cross-over from the author’s Walker Security series. We are introduced to Mia’s boss Riley Montgomery, and supervisor Kevin Murphy Grayson’s best friends and business partners: Eric Mitchell, and Davis. Eric’s storyline will be told in the spin-off Filthy Duet.
BEAUTIFUL BETRAYAL is a story of heartbreak and pain; betrayal and vengeance; second chances and falling in love. The premise is intriguing and captivating; the characters are charismatic, strong and dynamic; the second chance romance is provocative and passionate. Lisa Renee Jones’ pulls the reader into an energetic and edgy story line about two people torn apart by retribution and hate.

Beautiful Betrayal is the first book in Scandalous Billionaires series. An incredible and deeply emotional story that will make a reader instantly fall in love with Mia and Grayson. It’s not only about second chances but character driven, healing romance that is cleverly written giving the perfect blend of romance, suspense, self-discovery, second chances, and deeply buried emotions. With every page, story gets more intriguing and has reader rooting for the happy ending. Beautiful Betrayal is captivating, enthralling standalone novel that immerses readers in an emotion-charged journey.
Grayson Bennett is billionaire businessman and attorney. Mia Cavanaugh is criminal lawyer. Told from dual first person perspectives with a retrospective narrative the author perfectly portrays raw emotions, rekindling romance and obstacles / enemies these two need to confront. These two were fabulous together. Both don’t understand their feelings at first. These two evoke every single emotion. I love their relationship development and the build-up especially through flashbacks which discover that Mia started working for the Bennett Firm, an international empire owned by Grayson Bennett. In her wildest dreams she had never expected to fall for Grayson and to be charmed by him. She tried to stay away especially because she couldn't risk her career and job but his relentlessness and the fact he never treated her like she was less than him made her feel secure and loved. On the other hand, Grayson Bennett immediately knew that Mia Cavanaugh is the one to turn his world upside down and to change his ways. Then betrayal, vengeance and misjudgement shattered their world. They never stopped loving each other. Suddenly life throws them back together fighting against the enemy. The suspense, flow and pace of the story added to their romance. I love that it's a hard fought HEA after a lot of struggles and misconceptions.
So well-written, so enjoyable, so entertaining with layered, flawed characters, banter, dash of danger and romance.
Lisa Renee Jones' BEAUTIFUL BETRAYAL, Scandalous Billionaire #1, was an emotional, raw, intense, spicy, and suspenseful second chance love story. Grayson Bennett, billionaire businessman and attorney, and Mia Cavanaugh, criminal lawyer, fight for their love and their survival in a story told in both the present and through flashbacks of the past.
Grayson and Mia fell deeply in love, it was a rapid fall, and Mia didn't want to be seen as a gold digger, even though she wanted nothing to do with his money. It is not long before outside influences intervene and a deception is played out, tearing apart the loving couple. Unknowingly, Mia runs straight to Grayson's fiercest enemy, but not everything is as it appears. Two years pass with no communication between Grayson and Mia, until Mia hears a threat against Grayson and informs him.
Together, along with the Walker Security Team, Grayson and Mia work to unravel everything that was done to enable the deception, the people involved and the reason why. The investigation brings them closer once again, but will they be able to overlook the past, the miscommunication, the trust issues, and the hurt to build upon what they once had?
BEAUTIFUL BETRAYAL is an intense read. The lies, deception, and betrayal hit where they hurt the most ... the heart. It is the unmistakable love though, that Grayson and Mia have for one another that really pulled me in. I loved that Grayson was extremely protective of Mia, his panic whenever he feared she was putting herself in danger, Mia was the same with him. Together they are magic, they sizzle, they're compassionate, they're forgiving, they're undeniably in love. They would have to be one of my favourite LRJ couples.
I loved this book. LRJ meticulously wove an addictive story comprising of everything she renowned for, passion, intensity, suspense, mystery, and romance. BEAUTIFUL BETRAYAL was another superb read from this extremely talented author, definitely a MUST READ>
I struggled trying to decide how much I liked this book. It was well-written but there were times, especially in Grayson and Mia’s downtime that could get a little slow. I did like the self-talk during these times. You really got a sense that the feelings are realistic. They are messy and sometimes they don’t make sense, just like real life. But I did get sick of hearing about Mia’s feelings of guilt. I found myself thinking get over it already or at least stop mentioning it to Grayson. He doesn’t want to hear how sorry you are again and again and again. Anyway, that was the part that I disliked and made me dislike Mia a little, even though she is a strong and independent woman and I like strong and independent women.
Despite these things, I think I liked the plotline in part one better than in part two. There was a buildup and threats to the main characters, suspense and action, and a culminating event that left me satisfied. In part two there were many opportunities for intrigue and for threats to turn into suspense and action that were unexploited. This was mostly due to Walker Security’s involvement. They dealt with all threats before they became more.
The self-talk was what made for the most character development. You got a sense of who the characters were and their motivations. As I said earlier, Mia had a lot of good qualities but her guilt and its repetitive nature bothered me. Grayson was a strong and multidimensional character. He was a hard man who could become soft and loving. He was self-reliant but knew when to admit he needed help.
I actually read Book 2 first and I liked it more. This book has a lot of backstory that is mentioned in book 2, or rather Grayson is a best friend to Eric, who is the protagonist in book 2. In summation, When this book was good it was pretty good and I guess that made it worth reading. But the slowness at times had me taking off one star.
This book is made up of two books. Dirty Rich Betrayal and Love Me Forever. This new book has had some upgrades adding to this awesome story. What’s not to love, then more Mia and Greyson?
I started this book last night and didn’t really put it down, except to sleep and eat. Dirty Rich Betrayal is the fourth book in the Dirty Rich series. All of the books can be read as stand alone’s. Although, Lisa is so good at crossing characters over from book to book or from series to series. I love that! This one isn’t any different. Walker Security makes an appearance in this one. I love it!!! The chemistry between Grayson and Mia is explosive! There are so many hurt feelings and anger. But the two of them work really hard to put the past in the past and to overcome the betrayal that had occurred. I also love how humble Grayson is even though he is a billionaire. And Mia not having a care in the world that he is either. Such a great couple! A must read! You will not be disappointed!
Love Me Forever: Ahh...Mia and Grayson. What really more is to say? They are a fabulous couple, who I adore. This is book two of their journey. Picks up right after book one; so you’ll want to read that one first. Mia and Grayson lost each other for a year but were able to find one another again. True love is true love, after all. Even though there is a threat to them, they handle it in stride. And with each other. Lisa once again brings people in from her other books. I love this! Makes the books more personal to me. We have Eric, Reese and Cat and of course the Walker crew. The end of the books brought tears to my eyes. For all the couple goes through and still get their HEA is so awesome. Go grab your copy today!
This duet is the chef’s kiss🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻I could not get enough of Grayson and Mia’s story. This second chance billionaire romance is very intense, invigorating and breathtaking. Grayson Bennett, this man is every women’s dream book boyfriend. Powerful, rich and dirty!!! When his empire is endangered he needs the help of an old flame to take those threatening him down. These two share a past that was sensually passionate and Grayson even thought Mia made him rethink his bachelor ways. Separated by deception, Mia ran straight into the arms of Grayson’s enemy. Mia’s a great criminal lawyer and Grayson knows that she’s the best lawyer to help him. She still carries the belief that Grayson betrayed her when they were together even thought that betrayal cut her deeply, she still loves him. Together they will need to put their past aside to defend the threats targeted on Grayson’s empire. The fact that Grayson is giving Mia the ability to bring him down herself shows just how much this man is taking a leap of faith in the connection they once share and are rediscovering is so profound and powerful. So lose yourself in their exhilarating, intriguing and highly passionate story. These characters will engage, captivate and consume you from beginning to end. The revelations are shocking and make this story even more interesting. If your looking for a book that has an entertaining and enticing storyline with characters that are simply stunning, you will love Grayson and Mia’s OUTSTANDING romance.
Grayson is a billionaire who literally collides with beautiful Mia. She has reservations about seeing him when her pursuits because of her career. She doesn’t want to be seen as a money grubber or using men to advance her career. The fact that his money is a big turn off that makes Grayson want Maia more. They have a lot of miscommunications and allow outside forces to tear them apart. They moved to fast to soon in their relationship to develop a solid foundation. Mia even tells her new boss that sometimes love is not enough. This is their story about learning to trust each other before all others. It has dark times and sadness. They try for 2 years to move on from each other but they never do. It takes a threat to Grayson that Mia overhears to bring them back in each others life and find their forever. Ri is the man behind all their problems. He hates Grayson and is very jealous of his success. Ri wants Mia because he knows it will gut Grayson. He really want to destroy Grayson at all costs. Mia’s mistake is she went to work for Ri when she ran from Grayson. Grayson assumed Mia ran into Ri’s bed as well because of comments Ri made to Grayson when he met Mia. There is so much to this book murder, mob ties and lack of fidelity between people. Mia and Grayson have to overcome past hurts to create their future. They have to realize to be perfectly imperfect with each other. The imperfections of the characters is what makes them realistic.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Mia didn't want to fall for Grayson. She didn't even want to date him at first because he was her billionaire boss. Yet Mia found herself doing both of those things. Then she found herself madly, deeply in love with him. Until it all fell apart, and Grayson completely ripped her heart in two. Then she ran away from him as fast as she could. Now Mia finds herself going back to Grayson because they have a common enemy. As they work together to destroy this enemy, Mia finds the walls she put up to shield herself from all the pain Grayson caused come crashing down, and now she's starting to love him again. The real question is, did she ever really stop loving him in the first place?
Beautiful Betrayal is a story about second chances. This story was written with so much emotion. The love that Mia and Grayson have for each other is so palpable that you can feel it radiating off the pages. Even when these two were no longer together and completely broken-hearted, they never stopped loving each other. Mixed with their love story is a story of suspense with someone targeting Grayson and his company and trying to tear him and Mia apart. This book is full of passion, spice, drama, and intrigue. Once you start reading, you will not want to put this one down. I can't wait to read the other two books in this series!
Favorite Quote: "I don't want to try to be perfect anymore. I want to revel in how imperfectly wonderful we are. You are the glue that holds all my broken pieces in place. You make me whole again."
I am a huge fan of this author and have so many books on my kindle and my bookshelf but, life happens and I haven’t been able to read many of her books in a while. This book brought me right back to the days i was obsessed with her books.
This book was a beautiful, hot, suspenseful, second chance book focusing on the two main characters Grayson Bennett and Mia Cavanaugh. These two met when Mia literally walked right into Grayson at work one day without knowing who he was. He was persistent in trying to get with Mia and she fell for his charms. They were a force to be reckon with. Both amazing lawyers, living together, engaged and totally Inlove. Trust plays a huge factor in any relationship. When Mia walks in to a surprise in Graysons office, she does the only thing she can do but run away heartbroken. She ends up working for Graysons enemy Ri. It was not a coincidence. Ri is a slimy piece of garbage who will stop and nothing to get what he wants. Mia and Grayson are Both heartbroken being away from eachother but, Mia needs to talk to Grayson and that when things get interesting. Will Mia and Grayson be able to trust eachother and be happily in love like they were a year prior or has the damage already been done? Will Grayson be able to come out on top or will the lies exposed ruin everything? O loved this book from beginning to end. So much suspense….LOVED everything about the book. Loved how Walker Security was in the book as well.. amazing 5 star read. Grab your copy today!!
