Yes, thank you! I like how she is treated like garbage and she is going to show them what a mistake they made!
4, violence and some blood in this one be warned, stars.

Ohohoho, a delight! A woman is scorned by her fiancee (hello condemnation event) and when no one helps her she takes matters in her own hands. And she is quite strong and capable, she makes big plans along with her maid and confidante Mireille. I loved seeing her exact revenge, get in the good books, make booming business, and more. Along the way she meets people, like our nun who may not be so pious as you may expect, haha. I am definitely curious how things will go next. That prince and his new fiancee are definitely made for each other, eww.

Well, this is off to a good start! As per usual for these stories, it kicks off with our Villainess protagonist, Lady Elizabeth Leiston getting humiliated and dumped by her Royal husband to be, who has replaced her with some Baron's daughter who has apparently simpered and fawned her way straight into his pants.
Finding herself locked in jail on trumped up charges of assault and attempted murder against the lil home-wrecker, Elizabeth at first waits patiently and faithfully for her Father and the King to swoop in and fix this injustice. Unfortunately, one month later she learns from her loyal maid that they just left her to rot and all her assets are seized. Oh, and her Nobel reputation is destroyed.
Needless to say, our Villainess is pissed.
Thanks to a pep talk with her maid, Elizabeth escapes jail and pulls a gamer move by heading straight to the local rival kingdom's ambassador and asks for Sanctuary. In return for their aid she'll destroy her homeland and give them the spoils of her vengeful victory.
The fact that she used to be her own kingdom's Trump card since she is basically a magically over powered tactical and ruthlessly manipulative genius only sweetened the deal.
This becomes quite clear when through the use of sheer bloody minded business tactics and cunning, Elizabeth managed to create a booming Merchant trade while simultaneously destroying a man's life in the space of six months.
There is a certain appeal to these wronged Villainess stories where we tend to sympathise with the Nobel Lady underdog and wish her success, but Elizabeth seems to be made of a different breed. She is a very compelling and somewhat insidious character and she makes me question just how far she's *really* willing to go and just how long I will root for her...

Is it an entertaining book? Yes. Is it a good book? Not exactly. There is no subtlety at all to the characters, and the plot is very straightforward. Obviously, Elizabeth transmigrated into this world, but that’s barely mentioned and doesn’t seem important to the plot. Once she washes her hands of her kingdom, she goes all in. It’s satisfying in a way, but a little bit ridiculous at the same time. I would expect her to only take that step if her country did something heinous, not just for their neglect and taking her for granted. Despite saying that everybody treated her badly, it was pretty clear that the knights in the castle were aware of her charity, and that she was running things. They were reluctant to arrest her in the beginning, which to me signifies that they respect her. It’s also very strange that her father immediately renounced her when he must know how valuable she was to the country. If you support your country, you don’t want an idiot to be in charge. It’s also very stupid that the king and Prime Minister would both travel out of the country, even for diplomacy. I would expect the prince to be the one traveling.
It also takes a very ruthless stance towards bandits. It makes me feel that the author is very naïve and cannot look at a issue with anything other than black-and-white viewpoints…like maybe if you understand that a crappy Lord ends up making a situation where his people have no choice but to turn to banditry, you should have more sympathy. It was a little bit startling to have the sister beat the bandits to death and say that they weren’t people so they were not deserving of mercy. I am wondering if she is really a nun.
Her divine artifact is a cheat item of monumental proportions. Basically, she can do anything. The author has not laid out the parameters of these grimoires, which means that whenever it is convenient, the reader will discover that there is another ability.

Quite satisfying
There's definitely no fluff, you get right into the bones of the situation and advance along the plan towards regaining power. There's no problem with skipping multiple months worth the time, was just a light hand wave of the work done in the meantime. The author does a good job of dodging the nitty gritty details without making you feel like the story has been cheated. Just adds to the efficiency of the main character. The characters are quite likeable, the pacing is solid, and the details are just the right amount to keep pulling you along. I definitely want to read the next one.

If I may say something about this manga here I go >> It is good. Wait... A better world to describe this book is ''okay''! So why such a high rating Mina? Basically because I enjoyed even though we don't have much action yet. If you go with this manga you have to get in your head that this volume here is just a introduction. Just a way to make you be 'confortable' to the world and the possible story.

I loved the first volume! It had a badass female lead who was unforgiving to her enemies. I got tired of reading of manga where they always forgave their enemies and it bit them in the ass later. She did not care if she shed blood and I was here for it. I loved how this manga twists the tropes of any female lead in manga. I hope the author continues in the next volume. If you want an interesting revenge manga with blood shedding female lead then this is for you!

Justly deserve revenge delivered decisively is always good fun, at least in a manga! The lead character has done all of the work to keep her kingdom afloat only to be dissed by the prince she was supposed to marry, the king, and even her own father! What's a girl to do but take her trusty retainers, move to the neighboring empire, and take revenge?

3 star. 🌟🌟🌟
Was the story good? Its mid at best.
It seems as though lady elizabeth transmigrated into this story ???? Its not really mentioned. I do like how lady elizabeth plans to make those who treat her badly perish so to speak. I will read more of this but im not 100% sure this is a series i will enjoy as it is very much ‘mid’ feeling and not the best

The MC is ousted by the idiot prince fiance that falls for the naive girl and breaks off their engagement. Fallen from grace, she escapes and vows revenge against the kingdom that wronged her. Also she's super powerful and hyper-competent.
She establishes herself as an economic power in a neighboring kingdom and wins. The prince is incompetent man-child and fails. I ended up ditching the series by vol 3 because I was expecting it to be limited to economic warfare as opposed to violent edgelording. I bailed.

Interesting story...
Though the art could use some work. She's a bit spiteful, honestly, but these things are always exaggerated for effect. I do kinda like the "Not immediately falling into a male lead's arms to solve the problem for you."

Not your average revenge tale
Definitely not your everyday revenge tale. A fun, multilayered tale with well-written characters with hidden depths. Very eager to see what comes next.

I enjoy a good villainess story, and this one is no different... except our villainess is now bent on revenge against the kingdom she used to serve. She's much more ruthless than a lot of villainesses, and I'm not sure I'm really fond of 'brigands aren't really people, their monsters so it's fine to kill them'. It's... a choice. I wish they'd just killed them bc they were bad people rather than saying they're not human. It also feels a little bit 'capitalism yay!' But overall, I did quite enjoy this. Not sure if I'll get the light novels or not.

Darker and more pragmatic take, on the betrayed genius/noble/competent fiancee. Her maid was the best when she helped her realise she should not wait obediently anymore. Okay read, ressemble a lot other works, I think I will reserve my jugement depending on the rest of the story.

Volume 1: (Chapters 1-6)
Wow this started with the a litany of clichés and I thought it was going to be fun fluff- but we get a whole lot more from our main character when it comes to her pursuit of revenge.
