Jessica
Standing in the crowded gymnasium at my high school reunion, I never imagine I'd see him again — Ryan Tanner, the first love I never truly forgot. I'm public relations superstar, so I'm used to handling crises, but facing Ryan brings back a storm of emotions I've long buried. Balancing a successful career with a tumultuous heart isn't easy, especially when every moment with him reignites a passion I thought was lost. I never thought I could have it all--success and a love that endures. Could I be wrong?

Ryan
I'm back where it all began, at my high school reunion. I'm not expecting much, certainly not running into Jessica Moore, the one who slipped away. Breaking her heart is one of my biggest regrets. I've built a life of solitude, far from these old hallways, but seeing her again changes everything. The sparks fly as we dance, and I'm torn between the safety of my past and the pull of a future with her. Is there really such a thing as a second chance?

Too internal

Though we'll put together I didn't like that the majority of the book was lived in their heads. It felt rushed without important moments. The internal queries were understandable after the initial meeting but after that I feel that conversations should have been had especially with their past. There was also no clarity on the timeline of the relationship. Too many unanswered questions for me

Too much inner monologue. Not enough dialogue between characters. Skimmed and scanned most of it.

This book was soooo beautiful!!!

How many ways can I say how much I loved reading this book? After reading the synopsis I knew I and to read it. One of my favorite tropes is Second Chance love stories. This author is new to me. But she just found herself another fan. Here's my review.

Ryan and Jessica were one high school sweethearts until they weren't. But fate stepped in by the way of their high school reunion. It's there that they reconnect and their second chance begins.

This book was so beautifully written. From the storyline to the last sentence. The one thing that I loved was hearing both characters pov. It makes the book a much better read for me. I enjoyed how Ryan and Jessica grappled with and dealt with their personal and professional life choices. They were both deserving of a second chance at love and happiness with each other.

I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed. I'm looking forward to checking out the rest of the books in this series.

Sweet

OH Wow what a delightful story! One that is definitely enjoyable this is such a fantastic story that has awesome characters, with such great chemistry. This really is a funny and sweet passionate romance! It will bring a smile to your face along with such sweet romantic feeling. The one thing I enjoyed the most is their rekindled relationship from their high school days plus the time spent on the couple while building their relationship it's such a delight. This is such a pleasure to read even the secondary characters are great. Overall this is a sweet romance which l enjoyed I had one problem and that was the ending I wanted more.

Ryan, A BWWM,second chance Romance.

I rarely write a review, but I had to comment on this book. What a wonderful way to rekindle, a love that they thought was lost some 20 years ago. The similar feelings, past or present, are where their connection was never severed. Beautifully written, no drama, no cliff hanger, no person from their past to stop the love that they feel, want, and deserve for one another. Their love was real. The timing was just right.

A Great Read!

I enjoyed this story. I had problems getting past page 11 on my Kindle. I read past that part on my phone and was able to continue after that. Ryan and Jessica were high school sweethearts who broke up. They got reacquainted at a 20 year reunion and that is where the story really picks up. I am looking forward other next install to f this series.

A good book

I enjoyed this story and how Jessica had to outgrown a few lessons her mom drummed into her. Like take deep breaths so Jessica could be an excellent business woman but Jessica didn’t have give up love to be successful as it seemed her mother gave up on personal relationships to be successful.

Sometimes you need to grow

Love can be so amazing and overwhelming. For these 2, high school wasn't the right time. Watching them come back together with appreciation of balance and love was refreshing. Glad there wasn't any further drama to keep them apart.

Ryan and Jessica - Reunited

Wow, that Ryan is a smooth talker who can also walk the walk when it comes to Jessica. It sounds like a walk down the aisle is coming up sooner rather than later as they start their life and work together. Another great book by Dara Hunt!

Second chances

My first read by Dara and I wasn't disappointed. A quick short read. This was a cute story being only 80 something pages. It's a romance about second chances. I loved that it didn't feel rushed like most short stories.
