On The Edge of Time, Part One
On the Edge of Time involves the human heart’s earnest search for heaven in the midst of Hell come to Earth.
It is two weeks after millions of people have mysteriously disappeared from the face of the earth, and, like millions of others, Jerry Westfield, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, is upset and perplexed at that loss, particularly since it took his best friends, Jeremy and Kathy Palmer. His personal concerns must be set aside, however, when the international situation frantically signals the immanent destruction of the state of Israel. It is there that Jerry is sent to cover the story of his journalistic career and is reunited with Jacob Klausman, a ‘retired’ member of the ‘Mossad,’ Israel’s secret service. It is also there that he will meet with a cataclysmic series of monsters and miracles, including Ruth, the woman who will change his mind about marriage, and the charismatic Demetrius Strapollos, who soon is hailed as the ‘Messiah’ who will rescue Israel and restore her former glory.

He is the co-founder and president of a non-profit Christian theater company based in New Jersey, Lighthouse Stage Productions.
Russ currently serves as a teacher and elder at Searchlight Church. He resides on the Jersey Shore with his wife of 40+ years. He is a father of three and grandfather of five.

On the edge of time
It has been awhile since I read the previous book seven, life just gets in the way sometimes. Book eight, "The Aftermath " is a gripping story of the continuing downfall of mankind with a few brave people who hang onto their belief in a mighty God and Savior! Now on to book nine!

Building crescendo
I really loved this book. It took some time in development of characters but once completed I completely was drawn into the story. I highly recommend. Slow at first but builds to a crescendo. I’m sure you’ll love it!

This is a wonderful story that engages and helps the reader to ponder the Bible and prophecy. Although this book is fiction, one can see the author placed into this book an understanding of Gog and Magog.

This story of possibilities surrounding the prophesied end time draws you in and keeps you there. Thought provoking and engrossing storyline engaging characters make for quick reading. I will continue to next book

Interesting take on the tribulation
Insertions of the Bible were helpful to understand. Colorful and interesting characters. Exciting and colorful events. Emphasis on Jesus Christ.

Pretty good book, enjoyable read
This book is really good. I would recommend it to people who like Christian fiction. This book is good clean Christian fiction at its best.

The premise of this book is that the new testament is true, and the protagonists live through the end of days.
However, there were a few things that I found really annoying about this book.
Firstly, there are various things that are wrong or implausible.
Secondly, parts of the book are very much Christian propaganda - it's amazing the number of Jewish characters who convert to devout Christianity.
Thirdly, none of the key protagonists are women. None. There are women, and some of them are in positions of power. But none of them play a significant role in the book.
If you're a Christian and not a feminist (and not too bothered by plot holes or implausibilities) then you will probably enjoy this book.

A hair raising tale of the last days!
Found the book hard to put down and full of surprises. Well written with well defined and believable characters. I'm hooked as I intend to read part II.

Great read!
I enjoy reading about "end times". I read all of the "Left Behind" books and this story compared well. I got involved with the story and characters quickly. Glad I can read the 2nd book right now! <

Wonderful!!!
Great writing with believable characters. I was hooked on page #1. The end times as prophesied in the Bible provides a dynamic plot!!! This is book #1, I can't wait to read #2.

Best "Rapture" Book I've Read!
Follows The Bible, Old & New Testament. I like the fact that it connects the Jewish beliefs with the Christian beliefs.

Great end times yarn
The end times story I have been waiting for since finishing the Left Behind series. I do love this type of fiction. They have done a very good job.

Great book. Worth the read.
A truly enjoyable and faith building book of the tribulation period. It has contains a lot of scripture and gets one thinking of the end times.
