Museum heart -
‘There’s a museum in your heart of everyone you’ve ever known. You collate the artefacts nobody else cares to hold onto. You hang pictures of people with faces others find too ghastly to look at. You find them fascinating. You’ve been so busy filling rooms with fragments of others, you forgot to hold space for the most precious one of all. You, my dear.’
You are weird, in a wonderful sort of way -
‘You’d rather take bugs outside, than see them suffer for simply being small. You consider stranger’s feelings before your very own. You hate to be perceived, but long to feel seen. You feel a whole ocean for people who cannot feel a drop for themselves. In a world of apathy and coldness, your empathy and warmth are weird. Weird in the kind of way we need.’
