In a world of exploitation, drugs and mental illness, hidden behind social deception, DO YOU KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON IN YOUR CHILD’S LIFE?
Growing up, we've all explored the intrigues of life, perhaps experimented with cannabis and lived a little precariously. Michael was no different, until one day he fell into the hands of corrupt drug enforcement officers turning his world upside down – never to be the same again!
Based on TRUE EVENTS, Missing Side of a Rubik’s Cube is the touching story of Michael, a young man who gets entangled in a web of police corruption and of Miltos, a mentally ill man with whom he forms an unlikely bond.
Plagued by demons and battling for sanity, Michael will risk crossing moral boundaries in pursuit of justice against his tormentors, taking us on a dramatic and emotional journey. But just how far is he willing to go in order to climb back out of hell?
C Enyo is a novelist and poet, born in the UK in 1982.
His family originates from the independent Greek-speaking island, the Republic of Cyprus, where he spent some of his childhood and high-school years.
At the age of 17, Enyo returned to the UK and begun his higher education in his birth town, Canterbury. He read Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent and went on to acquire a Masters degree (MA) in the field of Politics and Government.
Enyo's poetry work is largely of a philosophical nature and can often be very socially, politically and self critical. His first three poetry books (forming a series of three conceptualised volumes) can be credited with originality for their unique layout and composition.
His first novel, the Missing Side of a Rubik's Cube, is a thriller based on a true story.
The emotions in this book are so real. You can feel each one. The pain, the hurt, the disappointment, the anger, the horror, the revenge. All are solid. This is a solidly written book. The life of a young man trying to find his way. Takes some wrong turns as we all do in youth, but he comes out the journey just fine. This book pulled at my own emotions. I laughed and cried and cringed with fear. Some of Michael's some of my own. Great book.
