This book was amazing. It is one of the best books I have ever read. I could not stop reading it!!!! Everly is caught in an abusive marriage and escapes to a remote island where she thinks she will be safe. Is she really safe or will her past haunt her. The story is so mesmerizing it will keep you flipping pages past your bedtime!!! You also can't help but fall in love with the characters on the island!!!

This was sooooo good! I was recently introduced to Elliot's books, and her Detective Cooper series had me hooked. This is a standalone and I might have liked it even better than her series.

I didn't figure out the main mystery until very close before the Big Reveal, and the ending was bittersweet and had me tearing up. I won't provide any spoilers but this book, for me, had me feeling all sorts of feels by the end. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who likes to read.

This one had me on my toes. I had no idea what I was going to read, but I loved every moment of trying to figure out who was doing what to whom. Everly went through the wringer and lost many friends and family members throughout her life. But nothing could have prepared her for her best friend and the pain she caused. A great psychological read.

If you like psychological thrillers this is the book for you! It has so many twists and turns it will keep you guessing, when you find out who the bad guy is you will be totally shocked! I couldn’t put it down, it made me feel all the emotions!
