Rate this book
Need Two tells the story of two college kids on a road trip to New Orleans for the 1981 Sugar Bowl game, They have no money, no car and no tickets, but four days before the game decide they can't live if they aren't there to see Herschel Walker and the Georgia Bulldogs take on Notre Dame for the championship of college football. The book tells who they blackmail to get a car, who they lie to to get money, what they do for tickets and about all the trouble they get into--and out of along the way. It is not a book about football as much as it is about friendship and the Southern way of life.

I read this because I am a UGA alum and fan. If you're looking for a lite & raunchy read, this is for you. I was hoping for more than that, so I give it a 3.

A fun read for the Georgia fan as this southern adventure is focused around the 1980 Sugar Bowl when UGA won the national championship.
