PLOT: Logan "gets" Emily for a month in lieu of payment. She's extremely sheltered. He whisks her off and plans to taint her. Will they get closer or will everything fall apart?

THOUGHTS: Ehhhh I wasn't a huge fan of this one, sadly. The chemistry is there and spot on but the storyline is a little all over the place. It just didn't mesh well with me sadly. Onto the next book!

Started off great, then went to the crapper (as far as my expectations).

Emily (22, virgin) has been trained by her mafia father to be the perfect wife. She's had a private education, speaks multiple languages, and she's pure as the driven snow. She's been confined to her father's compound and is fully aware that he plans to sell her off to someone eventually.

Logan (38, billionaire, not in the mafia) is regretting loaning money to the mafia guy and is trying to collect his payment. He's shocked when the man offers his own virgin daughter up for marriage as re-payment. He knows that they're trying to trick him into marrying her, then stealing her back and therefore canceling the debt (it's complicated). He makes a plan to deflower her and then send her back himself while still collecting his debt.

Logan agrees to take Emily to his private island for a month and on the flight there, he takes her virginity. Then immediately gives her the cold shoulder, not wanting her to get attached and also teach her a lesson about how the real world works.

I was all set for a bad boy turned good. Thinking I'd get a ruthless man. Then they get to the island and everything just turns sappy and stupid. On the island is Logan's sister, Marianne. She's an adult, though mentally she's only twelve. Emily and Marianne become BFFs and the majority of the book is them spending time together while Logan ignores her. NOT SEXY AT ALL. We get to hear all about Emily eating ice cream, learning what Netflix is, wearing clothes she wants to pick out. It's all very lame and tame.

Eventually, Logan and Emily have sex again, but it's all kinds of clinical and there's really no romance or fire. Of course, Emily is put in danger, he realizes he loves her, she gets pregnant, HEA.

Like I said - the ending of the book was blah and a real snooze fest.

PS - I guess the "Daddy" reference in the title is either because Emily's dad sells her, or that Emily gets pregnant making Logan a dad. There's no DDlg or anything like that. Just in case that's what tickles your tushy.

Daddy's Orders is the fifteenth book in the Silver Fox Daddies series and is the story of Emily Marone and Logan Stone. This is an age-gap between a worldly, wealthy and dangerous man and an innocent and sheltered younger woman, with a creepy father that you just want to feed to the lions as quickly as possible. Add in a debt, a deal, a private island, a plan that ends up backfiring and you have a story that pulls you in and keeps you reading.

Daddy's Orders is the fifteenth installment in K.C. Crowne Silver Fox Daddies Series. A full-length standalone novel with no cheating or cliffhanger and complete with a satisfying happily-ever-after. A brilliantly crafted story with complex characters and a twisty and fascinating storyline that captures your attention from the prologue and keeps you hooked and turning the pages until the end. This Logan and Emily story. A fast paced, gripping, dark, and twisted read. It's deliciously addicting and impossible to put down.
Logan Stone is CEO Stone Holdings in New York City, one of the biggest investment firms in the world. The company was willed to Logan after the death of his father, back then it was a small time firm, a little fish in the pond. But since Logan took over it has went from being a million dollar company to a multi-billion dollar with investment firms internationally. He's a thirty-eight year old billionaire and one most eligible and desired bachelor. He also a ruthless and shrewd businessman. Logan wanted to gain some connection and listen to one of his C-Level subordinate and got in bed with the mafia's. Charles Marone works for the DiMato Crime Syndicate, he was once a low level enforcer in the DiMato Crime Syndicate who was willing to do anything to get to the top. But now he's of DiMato's made man. Charles went to Logan with a business deal where they could make a tremendous a amount of money through money laundering, and he would connect him with some of the most powerful underground figures in the city.
However, it was a bullshit plan and instead he's out nearly ten million. Logan was pissed and wanted his money and extra for all the trouble that Charles had cost him to fix the problem. Charles didn't have the money to pay back Logan and his boss didn't want to pay either so they came up with this bright idea of offering his daughter in exchange to Logan as his wife. However, Logan was not happy and wondered what type of man with use their daughter in exchange to pay off their debt. He declined and told him that he only wanted his fucking money and furthermore he didn't have time for a wife because his company took up too much of his time. He didn't like how Charles was using his daughter as a possession instead of his child and the whole thing disgust him. Charles kept on begging and pleading and when he saw his daughter, she was tens across the board. He decided to take the deal after he heard that she was a virgin and Charles was really selling the idea to him. Logan told him that he was leaving the city for a month to go to his private estate in the Virgin Islands.
But when Charles tells him that there's a caveat to the deal that includes him not touching until after they're married and that her virginity was to stay in tact. Charles had groomed Emily to be a sex symbol, someone that men would salivate after from one look.
Logan knew then that he was up to something and wondered if his daughter was in on it, and that he was going to betray him. So before he gets betrayed he plan on being the betrayer. His plan is to start with a ticket in the mile high club. His motto get them before they get you. Charles wants to sell Emily's virginity to the highest bidder or make her more attractive bargaining chip to some criminal lowlife. But he's going to hate that the man that he hates stole that Innocence away messing up his plans.
Emily Marone is beautiful, intelligent, sassy, challenging, twenty-three year old living in a mafia world. All her life she has been isolated from the outside world under the strict supervision of her vile, devil, brutal and violent father. She has received some world class education at some of most elite and expensive boarding schools where she took classes in etiquette and different languages. Marta even thought her, her native Spanish language as well.
Marta, is the head maid of the Marone family and had been like a surrogate mom to Emily after her mom died. Charles control all things Emily's what to eat, how many calories she can intake daily, no friends, no TV, no phone, a strict diet you name he does it his making her life miserable. His favorite word was no man wanted a fat girl. However, Marta she loves to disobey Charles rules regarding Emily and as smuggled movies, TV, romance novels, snacks, and made sure that she was abreast with all the latest gossip rags. He took her to Manhattan at the Stone Holdings headquarter and from there Logan has arranged from them to use his personal helicopter, where they would fly to a private airfield north of the city and take his private plane to the island. Emily was flabbergasted by the enormous building and operation that takes daily after she the amount people coming and going inside. She was instantly anger that one man had done that by himself, and given the opportunity with drive ambition what she could do. She has aspirations of becoming an author and had been secretly writing a romance novel for several years.
Logan as garner is success by learning how to read people and what he noticed when Charles brought Emily to him that they were no affection between two and that she couldn't wait to get on the plane with a strange man. Emily got mad at Logan on the plane when he say where they were going and went on string of Spanish, which only amused him to see her get so worked up. He found out that she spoke five languages Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, and Mandarin which impress him. He owns one of the island and resort in the Virgin Islands. Logan was trying slowly ease into his plan of seduction, but Emily wanted to stick to her dad because she didn't want to be use as a pawn and asked Logan to take her virginity. His intentions were clear to her that their encounter was more than a physical conquest; it was a psychological battle between he and her father. She realized that it wasn't about her, it was a message to her father.
Emily was feeling good after Logan deflower her but he immediately dismissed her afterwards. He wants her to know that it was a one thing even though he didn't tell her. Logan wanted it to be a one and done, but he can't get Emily out of his mind. When she started ignoring him and stayed out of his way and found a friend his little sister Marianne, who although twenty-five is little off in the head and treats her so well it made him want her even more. The two continued to dance around their attraction with each wanting and dreaming of the other night. But when her Marta came and the island under the guise being there for but instead under the instructions of Charles to help kidnap her. All hell broke loose when Logan face-off with mask gunmen and Marta and stop them from taking. With almost losing her decided that he was no longer going to hide his growing feelings and they succumb their desires and they find themselves falling in love.
Emily didn't want to leave the because for the first time in life she has found freedom where she can eat whatever she wants, read books, walk around the island freely finding friendship with Pearl, Marianne Roberto, so she would rather be in paradise than her father's jail cell. Charles never stopped trying to take back Emily from Logan even though the month wasn't up. Where he saw her as merely just a piece of possession, Logan saw her as a piece of gold who's worthy and she's worth fight because he wasn't giving her back. Charles kidnapped Emily in the New York when they went to Marianne art show. He was trying to sell her to Russian man for his son as virgin. But not only was she not a virgin she was also pregnant. Logan tracked them down and put two bullet in his chest and Emily no longer worry about him again.

Billionaire alpha male Logan has no idea that the agreement he makes with the man who owes him money will change his life going forward. He agrees to accept the man’s daughter in lieu of the money owed to him, not only because of her beauty, but also to discover what other scheme the man is cooking up, since he is far to eager to hand over his beautiful virgin daughter.

Emily, the daughter in question has been sheltered or maybe I should say locked away all of her life. Her education, her food and her knowledge of the outside world have been strictly controlled. Her father plans to sell her to the highest bidder of the one with the most power. When she learns she is to go with a wealthy stranger to his private island for a month, Emily is shocked, angry and scared. Her father demands that she do everything in her power to keep her virginity intact or there will be severe consequences when she returns to him. Her anger and a bit of rebellion leads her to all but beg the very handsome Logan to take her virginity.

Logan is more than pleased to do just that. His care and expertise is much appreciated by the very innocent Emily, but his total disregard for her feelings and his closed off demeanor soon after their passionate encounter is a shock. Both are left with regrets and wondering what the other is planning to do next. Living with her father has taught Emily not to trust any man, especially a wealthy, powerful man who is used to giving orders and being in control. As for Logan, he is wondering if she is working with her father on some plan to manipulate him or gain information. Taking her to his private island means she will be under his control and unable to contact her father unless he allows it. He plans to avoid her as much as possible and keep his growing desire for her under control.

But life on the island is not what either of them expected. Emily is enjoying more freedom than she has ever had before and she is making friends. She is almost happy with life on the island. Being ignored buy Logan hurts her feelings and makes her uneasy about his plans for her. Seeing him with his sister reveals a different side of him to her. When he does pay attention or give her a gift, she is not sure what he is up to or what she should do. Logan doesn’t like his growing feelings for Emily. Her sunshine personality and her eagerness to learn draw him in, but his head tells him not to trust her. Their story continues with more of the same advance and retreat going on between them with their high-heat chemistry combusting on occasion. They are confronted by few unexpected twists and dangerous situations that serve to deepen their connection and feelings for each other. Could a future together be possible?

These characters were easy to like and cheer on to a happily ever after. Their story was engaging, entertaining and enjoyable.

Emily has had her life ruled by her father, it's been a very sheltered upbringing. This has ranged from the amount of calories she intakes per day, clothing she can wear, her education and very restrictive TV access. In fact, she is more of a possession to him. Marta who is employed by her father has been a constant in her life and she has given Emily little treats when she can unbeknown to her father.

Her father owes Logan money due to 'bad financial advice' and in restitution overs Emily to him as settlement. Logan who thinks it a bad idea until he sees photos of her. Logan is due to go to his private island for a month and agrees to accept Emily as payment but her father informs him that he is not allowed to have 'relations' with his daughter.

Once her father is home, Emily is told to pack immediately as she is leaving to go with Logan. Emily is shocked and tries to get out of it but her father reminds her that she does what she is told. She is also informed that she not to have any type of relationship with him and has to keep herself 'pure'.

Emily decides that she is not going to play her father's game and be his pawn. she is going to make her own decisions. Logan isn't going to play by the rules either as he knows her father has an ulterior motive . Emily finds out what it's like to finally have freedom of choice and she likes it a lot! Logan finds out there is more to life than his business empire.

A definite 5 *'s for me. I was hooked immediately on all the characters in the story line. Emily having her life micromanaged then being able to choose what she wanted to do, eat, wear or watch. Logan having more in his life than work and Emily's father trying to outsmart Logan to get out of paying his debt. Eventually someone has to lose but who will it be???

To settle a debt, Emily's father gives her to billionaire Logan. Logan agrees to take her. Meanwhile, Emily, who lived a sheltered life is not happy with the turn of events. She is given 45 minutes to pack to go stay with a man who she never met on a private island. They her father tells her that she is not to sleep with Logan, that she is going to stay with him for a month and then he is going to marry her off to someone.

Emily decides to get back at her father by joining the mile high club and sleeping with Logan. But even before the plane lands he dismisses her. Once on the island Emily finds out that Logan's sister, Marianne, lives there and they hit it off right away, along with his housekeeper Pearl. After some time on the island, Logan allows for Emily's head maid, Marta, to come join her on the island not knowing that she has plotted with Emily's father to have her kidnapped. The kidnapping fails and Logan ends up rescuing Emily. Later Emily finds out that her dad was behind the kidnapping and killed Marta.

Their stay on the island is cut short when Marianne gets offered a chance have her art in an art gallery. They end up going to New York for the event. Thats when Emily finds out that she is pregnant and ends up getting kidnapped again. Logan comes to her rescue and saves her.

Right off the bat, I loved the shameless direct reference to “Beauty and the Beast”. And good for Emily; I approved of her losing her virginity and joining the mile high club at the same time. But I did grow weary of the evil father trope as the book progressed. If Emily’s father was afraid after causing Logan to lose millions of dollars, I found it weird that he was the villain in the story. I would’ve understood if he were more of an annoyance, while the villain was someone to whom the father had previously promised Emily. But the emphasis on the father as such a threat made me wonder why he’d been scared enough to try to make deals with Logan in the first place. I also appreciated all the work the book put into developing the side characters, but would’ve liked more one-on-one time between Emily and Logan. Interactions with the side characters took up a massive chunk of the book’s run, which did make sense, as the story was going for a BatB feel. I just would’ve liked a bit more emphasis on Logan and Emily’s relationship. Nevertheless, the time they did get together was good, especially the fact that Logan had a heart and tried to give Emily as many freedoms as possible. Overall, for a billionaire BatB story, it wasn’t bad.

What a sizzling age gap romance between young Emily Marone, the daughter of contemptible businessman, Charles, who sets up a scam to sell her innocence to Billionaire Logan Stone to pay off the money he owes. Logan confirms the agreement, knowing full well that Marone will pull something to keep her innocence and whisk her away to sell her again. Instead, Stone beds her on their flight to his island, then shuns her afterwards because he isn’t looking for a relationship.

Emily is set to stay with Logan for a month, so he attempts to avoid her while they hole up in his well guarded island paradise. The storyline is well crafted as the two learn about each other. She warms to him after witnessing his care and treatment of his sister, who hasn’t matured mentally past that of an adolescent. Logan learns what a horrid, abusive, controlling father Charles Marone was to Emily, and he vows to protect her from him, and not use Emily for further sexual encounters.

There is intrigue, tender moments and sizzle as Emily manages to win him over as the two fight against her father. This romance is a real page turner and kept my interest from page one until the HEA>.

Daddy's Orders is a steamy, instalust, age-gap, OTT, sheltered virgin gets her hunky billionaire romance. Note that there are some dark elements like mafia violence if that is a trigger for you. Emily is a 23 year old smart, sweet, sassy, and beautiful, sheltered virgin. Her father is a controlling jerk who is an enforcer in a mafia crime organization. Logan is a 38 year old hunky, ruthless billionaire. He lost 10 million dollars due to Emily's father. He wants the money back, and Emily's father offers her for a month instead. He eventually agrees after seeing her beauty. Her father's stipulation is that she remains a virgin. Logan agrees but has the idea of ruining Emily before returning her. But he is surprised when she asks him to take her virginity. He is also surprised by her grace and intelligence and finds himself drawn to her and warms at her interactions with his sister. The chemistry between these two was INSANE. Even though Logan going cold would upset me at times, he does redeem himself in the end. I can't believe how awful Emily's Dad was. I really enjoyed the story and was so glad to get a HEA after all the drama.

Their Unexpected Forever -
Emily had been sheltered by her father her entire life, so she decided to experience lots of things her father had forbidden, which included losing her virginity to Logan. Even though Logan tried to keep his hands off Emily, he felt a pull toward her that he just couldn’t fight. The agreement was for Emily to stay with Logan for one month, but spending time with not only Logan, but the others on the island made Emily realise she didn’t want to leave.

Unfortunately, her father had other ideas and tried to take her by force, but Logan was able to keep her safe. However, just as Emily found out her life was about to change, her father kidnapped her and tried to sell her, but Logan was luckily able to rescue her in time, so they could get the happily ever after they both deserved. This was an intense drama-filled romance, that you won’t be able to stop reading once you start. Thank you KC Crowne for all the hard work you put into every single amazing book in your portfolio.

I adore everything KC Crowne! I have loved her Reverse Harem books because I enjoy reading about the polyamory love that goes on.
This story is different. There were mob ties, cartels, guns...It reminded me a bit of KC Crowne's Bratva series books.
Logan, a young Billionaire, has had to take over his family's company and he turned it from a million dollar company to a mult billion dollar company. He has also taken care of his handicapped sister since 18. Emily has never left her home, never watched, TV, is very Sheltered when she is sold to Logan to pay off a debt.
The plan was Dad sells Emily, then Logan planned to take away her virginity so she was no good to her Dad and then ignore her. His plan started out well but all plans go awry especially when someone else is involved.
I am not going to share any more except to say they are on their own tropical island in the Virgin Islands that Logan owns. Does Emily keep ignoring Logan forever?
You really need to read this book because it is totally worth it! A MUST READ!

From one prison to another.
Fantastic. What was supposed to be a plan for revenge for Logan gets more complicated than he anticipated. Then man who owned him millions of dollars offers up a marriage to his daughter. A month on Logan’s private island with the stipulation that he not touch her in any way. He “agrees” to the first part but, has no intention on following through on the second part. Emily is told by her controlling father that she is going to spend a month with a man she doesn’t know and is expected to follow her father’s rules while they’re including not letting him touch her. As soon as she meets Logan she formulates her own plan for revenge. Can we say Mile High Club? Logan turns cold and distant afterwards leaving Emily confused and hurt. Things change while on the island on many fronts. Her former nanny and friend from her father’s house comes to visit but, has ulterior motives. An attempted kidnapping, a murder and a an actual kidnapping all at the hands of one of Emily’s jailers. But, which one?.

As part of a deal to try to absolve his debts, Charles Marone offers his daughter Emily up to billionaire Logan Stone. The only request by Charles to Emily is to keep her virginity in tact. Emily has had very few adventures outside of the home her father kept her in and very little human interaction with the exception of the house staff, so while frightened of the unknown, she decides to use it as an opportunity to taste freedom for the month she has it. Upon meeting Logan, Emily learns maybe the life she's dreamed of is attainable after all.


This was quite a jump straight into what to expect from this book with the prolouge and I was not disappointed! Spicy in all the right ways, the story was predictable and beautiful nonetheless! I'll admit our MMC had me expecting him to be more ruthless so I was very pleasantly surprised at his character all around. I also appreciated the fact that the ending wasn't the typical romance book. The big thing i wish had been brought up/touched on more is Emily's book she's writing - it's brought up several times but we never learn anything more about it. All in all, spicy and satisfying!

Emily gets given to Logan by her father with a list of don'ts while in the company of Logan for the month he needs her for another business deal after. Logan takes her to his Island home for the month, and Emily finds herself attracted to Logan and also loving the freedom being with Logan allows.

A “Crowne-ing” achievement

This story is seriously one of Crowne’s best. You will easily fall in love with the main characters, Emily Marone and Logan Stone. Being in a gilded cage and shut off from society by her father, Emily is stunned to find out she’s basically a footnote in a contractual agreement by her father with Logan. He owes him $10 million dollars, so he’s using his daughter’s virginity as a bargaining chip. Logan know Emily’s father is up to no good, so he decides not to keep his end of the bargain either. The author really showcases Emily’s innocence with her first air flight, not knowing about Netflix or who’s Taylor Swift. Ironically, she is introduced to many things people take for granted by Logan’s very innocent, childlike sister, Marianne. She’s the one character who makes a reader’s heart sing in this compelling story. It’s definitely a reread, so an automatic 5 stars. ⭐️

He sees her as a bargaining chip, whose only purpose is help him increase his networth. Charles, is the perfect antagonist that readers dislike immediately. Emily and Logan are opposites but the age gap works in their relationship. Can Logan keep Emily safe? Will Emily accept a future with Logan? To find out, you must read this book.
I enjoy Ms. Crowne’s writing style. Her prose paints vivid and realistic scenes. Her use of strong and multi-dimensional primary and secondary characters further contributes to pull her readers into this suspenseful romantic plot. Marianna, Logan’s younger sister, helps to soften the harshness of the criminal intentions of Charles. Ms. Crowne keeps readers on their toes by building suspense with Marta, Emily’s longterm caregiver.

Talk about being raised by the devil. Emily was raised in the strictest household you could ever imagined. And according to her father, she was as good as given away as a form of payment. Emily was quite excited about this. She figured her life couldn’t be any worse. What she didn’t expect was Logan. Logan sure did not need Charles‘s daughter. Especially as payment for as much money as he owed him. That was until he took one look at Emily, Emily and Logan were meant to be together, watching the relationship develop was such a joy while reading this book. Emily was whist away to a private island that Logan owned, and she not only fell in love with the island, but fell in love with Logan. Another surprise in this book was Marianne. Logan‘s sister. She brought another element to the book that I truly enjoyed. the book was amazing with love, friendship, family, and danger around every corner that brings the excitement. And let’s not forget the sexy scenes that bring the steam. Such a good book.

No Fatherly Love

Poor Emily has lived a sheltered life, very sheltered. Her only friend is Marta but still a cautious friendship as her dad still keeps an eye on both. Emily's father owes Logan Stone a lot of money. He offers up Emily and sells her attributes like nothing? Logan reluctantly agrees but has other plans once he meets her.

Emily not as sheltered thanks to Marta, finds Logan handsome but her father did warn her not to let Logan ruin her. So, now Emily decides Logan is who takes her innocence.

Things begin to get complicated as they can, Logan has stayed away finding it hard. Emily hopes to break his calm and entice him. Emily continues to enjoy her little bit of freedom, while at the Virgin Islands.

Marta shows up against Robertos, head of security wishes. Logan has his doubts as well but Emily seems happy to have her.

Get ready for a betrayal on Martas side. An art exhibition in New York for Logan's sister Marianne. Emily confirms her pregnancy and her father strikes again. More action, adventure and dealings.

This story followed Emily and Logan. Emily is a twenty something virgin that lived with her over protective Mafia father. Logan is a thirty something CEO that was caught up doing business with Emily's father. In order to make good on a deal Emily's father agreed to giving Emily to Logan for a month.

The story is super short and fast past which doesn't allow for much character development. I find that since we didn't get much character development and the rushed pace the story ended up lacking 5 star quality.

I personally would not consider this a dark romance their were triggering themes in the book (domestic violence) but the story overall wasn't dark.

Overall I think the story was cute and a fun read. I got hooked into the story and wanted to see how it all played out. Some of the story was very predictable but their were a few curve balls thrown in there.

Emily has been groomed for many years to be the perfect wife. Her father kept her locked up, making sure she ate properly, looked proper, and was disobedient to any man. When he makes a terrible decision to owe money to a Billionaire, he thinks he can give Emily to the man as payment. What a horrible father.

Logan wants no part of this scheme, but goes along with it after seeing how beautiful Emily is. Logan is a good man, but getting involved with the Mafia was not the best move. But it turned out that he really liked Emily. Even after leaving her alone after taking her virginity, he couldn't get her out of his mind. Or his heart.

This story takes a few unexpected turns. Emily's father is still a dirtbag. Even turning Emily's confidante Marta against her. But deep down it became a story about a family. Emily getting away from her father was the best thing to happen to her and to Logan.

Spending time with people who love and care is an experience she wishes to keep hold and betrayal of someone close to her emphasises that. When her father finally gets his hands on her to sell her off again, Logan will do whatever it takes to get Emily back safe in his arms. With twists, turns and surprises, this book is a page turner that you won't be able to put down.

What a cute, cute, story with such a happy ending🥰🥰🥰 I’m so happy for Logan and Emily.

I wasn’t sure at first what Logan’s MO was but he grew on me quickly. He’s a strong, trustworthy and generous man but very serious… as Emily said he has a “resting stress face”

I’m a bit confused on Marianne’s character. Is she autistic or did something happen to her? If she is autistic why is that danced around throughout the book and not just stated?? Unless it’s just to be implied.


Btw: don’t be fooled this is not a “daddy” book lol not sure why it’s called Daddy’s Orders. Maybe because Emily’s dad ordered the whole thing to happen?? Not sure.


Anyway. I really liked this. Solid 3 stars.

This is an amazing story about love. It is definitely an age gap that starts with lust and revenge. Emily dad want to sell her to the highest bidder as a virgin but he owes Logan a lot of money so he offers Emily to him. He threatened Emily not to let Logan touch her when she has to spend a month with him on his private island. This is how Emily and Logan meet . They has an instant connection that leads to her losing her virginity to him. As time goes by they fall in love. He father tries to kidnap her from Logan twice but he is not letting her go. This story has a lot of drama, violence and deception but it has a lot of love as well. I enjoyed the suspense and surprises that came out. It is definitely worth reading.

Not the normal mafia stories, where the savior is not one of the made men. Emily was raised as a possession and when her father trades her for his debt to a legitimate business man, she thinks of ways to get out of a future of being sold. Logan never planned on having dealings with the mafia, he is a legitimate businessman but when an employee mishandled Millions of dollars he wants restitution. He sees an opportunity as well as a way to get back at the scum who is willing to trade his daughter for money, he just didn't intend to fall for her.
Fastpaced and totally Engrossing. I sat down and read in one evening. Love the dynamics of Emily's and Logans relationship, the double crossing of the father. The unknown antagonist was a huge surprise to me. Great story with a HEA.

Emily Marone has suffered at the hands of her father, locked away from the world and raised to be a thoroughbred, beautiful & pure, perfect as a bargaining chip for her father to the highest bidder. When she's offered to Logan, Emily is thrust into unknown territory and their time together proves to be life-changing for them both.

This is an easy read, with some danger, violence, strong chemistry between the leads, and likeable supporting characters. Enjoy Logan & Emily's HEA!

Emily's father owes Logan money but doesn't have it to pay him back. So, he offers Emily to him because she is pure and hasn't been with any man. However, when Emily goes to eave to meet up with Logan her father tells her not to sleep with Logan. Logan takes her to his private island where his sister is living and Emily bonds with his sister and some of the staff. Its not long before things heat up between them. This seems like its going well until an unexpected visitor causing some drama and upset the island. Will Logan see that Emily is what he needs in his life? Will Emily finally get free of her father?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Eh. The alleged bad boy is way too soft and somewhat dull.
The innocent virgin wants sex the moment she sees him and has no idea what Netflix is. Talking about inconsequence and some weird as fuck sheltering even though she supposedly went to university...
The best friend dies, and the heroine is way too blessé about it.
All his family falls in love with her at first sight because she is "so beautiful and nice".
And then there is some plot that barely counts as many holes as there are in it.
The smut is disappointing, and in general, it was a good thing that the book was so short because otherwise, I would have been bored out of my mind.
Also, I was promised mafia shit and some arranged marriage, and I got a lengthy retelling of her watching Emily in Paris.
AND HE AIN'T EVEN THAT DADDY.
Anyways.

Oft repeated theme

It just got a bit boring after a while using the often repeated theme of an alpha male taking advantage of his position to get even with another male while dehumanizing a woman, excusing himself by dismissing her and any negative effects of his actions as acceptable collateral damage. Why glorify such attitudes? His attitude changes during the story, eventually leading to an HEA, but he doesn't propose to her until after three+ years together and two children? Why the delay if he was so in love with her? The actions don't follow the words, leading to an unexplained inconsistency in the character's makeup which results in me doubting whether he is as rock solid as the author wants us to believe he is. Stars off for that.
