Alzheimer's, the curse

This is a story for the ages. Woody who has Alzheimer's is still lucid at times, but he knows he has the disease. Maggie his wife is desperately in love with him and very protective of him as he is with her. Woody has run away or been kidnapped and in the process has been charged with assaulting a police officer which carries a life sentence. The D.a. has no sympathy for any one including a demented person.....this is a good story.

A true love story

I wasn't sure I could read another heartbreaking story on Alzheimer's, but this book is like no other. It's a murder mystery, love story with the Alzheimer's warrior as the hero of the story!
Shot Glass Reynolds at his best! Worth every star and then some for me!

The Warrior With Alzheimer’s The Battle for Justice by Stephen Woodfin is a deep and realistic legal thriller about Woodrow “Woody” Wilson, a World War II vet with Alzheimer’s, a true hero in my mind, as are Woody’s wife Maggie and son Waylon.

Woodfin’s characters are alive on every page, a diverse and unique group with backstories that matter. Tough characters with firm beliefs in what they do. The reader becomes involved in their lives and truly cares about what happens to them. And then like any great storyteller, Woodfin makes things get worse for his characters. Fast-paced danger lives in this story.

The Warrior With Alzheimer’s The Battle for Justice is a story about finding true justice for all in the United States and second chances for those who need them. This is a complex story, taking us through the mind of someone with dementia. We see the damage of characters who have lived through war and deprivation in the people Woody meets in his life. Woodfin uses his expertise as a lawyer to create a compelling, gritty court system in need of adjustment.

But what I love best in this story is the emotional element. Here there is true love. Here there is true caring about making justice real. This is a story that needs to be told. Thank you, Stephen Woodfin.

Who Cares

I was unsure what to expect in what is a subject repeatedly publicised as the older generations become a more for
Focused part of society and rightly so,having raised families pioneered business and occupations both in civilian and military life and this author has presented a detail.of society and the person conducting but still finding a common basis of cooperation An interesting appraisal of man's humanity to man and the author success in portraying a book that encompasses understanding within a book

All the feels

This book started out heart-breakingly about Alzheimer's, then takes a turn to mystery. Well written, great characters, twisty plot. Funny, sad, A good read.
