This is a great daily devotional about how to stop spiraling anxious thoughts. It does not replace the original book Jennie wrote. But it's a good daily reminder.

One of the best devotional I’ve done in a while! I wasn’t the most consistent in keeping up with the days, but it does not follow a set calendar, simply day 1-100. I felt like even when I would go weeks without reading everyday, the Lord would draw me back with a clear and specific message from Allen’s writings. Each day seemed to speak directly to what I was struggling with that day. Highly recommend for any busy overthinker who wants to deepen their daily walk with Lord. ❤️

In a world wanting quick fixes, people are disappointed when reading a book doesn’t “fix” things for them.
This book simply helps you realize how easily we are caught up in negative thinking….and then it encourages us to stop the thought process, work on reworking our thoughts and stop spinning out of control. That takes work folks.

It was okay. Had maybe 5 of the posts resonate with me. I didn’t quite understand the spirals at the beginning of each chapter “theme”. But I did enjoy the verses, prayer and connection being short at the end of each one

I enjoyed this book of thoughts and scriptures for 100 days. I began to notice my thoughts more and made a conscious choice to turn to my Heavenly Father and Christ for healing of my anxious, fearful and doubting thoughts. And my mind is different then it was when I began this book.

Love It!

Definitely a keeper. In today’s world, it’s all about “me”. Jennie Allen helps us see that it’s really all about Him, and He renews our mind. We can take every thought captive because of what Jesus has done.

It wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, nevertheless I did find the perspective helpful and encouraging. We do have control over our thoughts which we often fail to do.
I’ll take a break and read it again.

A 100-day devotional taken from her “Get Out of Your Head,” Jennie Allen spelled out ways to tame wandering and toxic thoughts, taking every thought captive as we develop the mind of Christ. The meditation, rewire and prayer gave something to take with me into my day. Really helpful!

DNF. I wasn’t connecting at all to the anxieties that the author was describing. I was looking more for creating positive self-talk, not this.

One of the best devotionals I have read in a long time, and one I know I will go back to again and again.

Grounding but nothing resonated with me enough to be long lasting. Almost a DNF at some points. Run on sentences for days had me lost with each new devotion and they’re only a page long.

I think I expected more. Yes, it was a good way to rethink things but it wasn’t my favorite.

It took me over a year to read, but what a fantastic resource. As someone with OCD, Allen gives me so many tangible weapons against the mind and enemy. I would recommend this to everyone.
