Finding Fizz

Finding Fizz is a story about bullying and being 'one of the gang'. Carly hasn't been herself lately - it seems that she's 'lost her fizz'. She is being teased and excluded by the girls who were once her best friends, and feels there is no one she can talk to about her problems. Then Carly finds a stray dog that needs a home and suddenly her so-called friends don't matter so much any more...

My take:
Finished in one sitting. It's sad that Carly thinks her friends bullying her because of her fat ankle is considered to be normal. I'm really glad that she learns that bullying is not acceptable and that she ends up being able to patch her friendship back with Maisie and move on with her life.
