child … the DRA-MA!

If you’re looking for the drama, it’s in this book. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down. Now, I’m invested in the friend groups cause baby, I know it’s about to be some stuff with Veronica.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book was so good! I enjoyed all the clean drama, secret reveals and more. There is so much to unpack with Nae Nae, Ricardo, and all the other characters! Now, on to book 2!

3.5⭐️Whew… this book had me stressed 😩

The biggest thing for me? Everybody had secrets. And not just small ones—secrets that were seriously affecting people’s lives. I kept thinking, “Just tell the truth already!” because so much of the drama could’ve been avoided.

A lot of the tension in this story comes from things being hidden for YEARS, especially by the adults, and watching how those choices impacted everyone else was honestly frustrating at times. Like… once the truth starts coming out, it’s just a lot to unpack all at once.

I will say, the message behind the story was solid. It really shows how keeping secrets can do more harm than good, and how the truth will eventually come to light no matter what.

But for me, getting to the ending? Whew… it was a lot.

Audiobook 🎧: Whew! I was clutching my pearls from the very beginning of this book! What if the people you know as your family & hold a position in the church (deacon) has some secrets that could alter everything you thought about your life, parents, & whole family dynamics in general?!?! What would you do?
Well Nae Nae & Ricardo are about to find out! This is just one of the many plot twists in this book cause there are plenty more! I mean even Nae Nae & Ricardo friends/associates have secrets too!!! You are going to be asking the question WWJD or asking a therapist one! Read/listen to this book!
🌟I’m definitely needing to find part 2 to this story!

Tell The Truth and Shame The Devil

This book was dramatic with some twist and turns. Ricardo and Nae Nae are lovers but when Nae Nae Nae got pregnant her mom told her that a Deacon at her church his her father. This because upsetting for Nae Nae knowing it was Ricardo father. But when Nae Nae have her baby the unexpected happen. Then you have to hold your tablet real tight . If you want to know what happen next you would have to read this book. This is the first time reading a book by this Author and it look like I have more to read.

Not It Was , Now It Wasn’t

The story of Nae Nae and Ricardo was a roller coaster ride and a half. The secrets wreaked havoc. Every time you thought the last secret would blow things up another came even bigger. Being open and honest would have saved so much heartache. They weathered storms the average person would have possibly given in on. The author kept you riveted. Enjoyed it.

A powerful must read!

Although Nae Nae got on my nerves, this book was too good to put down. This journey was a rollercoaster for all involved. It reminds me of all the secrets that families keep to appear to be well put together. It's not good to keep secrets that will affect the lives of others.

3.5 stars - What’s done in the dark

Baby what’s done int he dark will come to the light! The amount of secrets being kept. I was annoyed! LOL. Somebody needed to spill it sooner than later. But, the overall message was great. The more secrets we keep , the more consumed we are by them, and ultimately we hinder God from freeing us and saving us!

Talk about secrets

When the story began and certain revelations were made, I was shocked. I enjoyed reading from Nae Nae and Ricardo's perspectives. Both characters experienced hardships but came out through the other side. The ending seemed somewhat abrupt.
It was a quick read and one I'd recommend

Emotional!

That was a lot. Drama personified, but I enjoyed the short read.

Secrets have a way of destroying, especially when they are bad/harmful secrets.

Happy for Nae Nae & Ricardo.
