Eva Gordon writes genre bending paranormal/fantasy/steampunk and historical novels with a strong romantic element. Alpha heroes and brilliant feisty heroines. HEA with a kick. She loves to create stories that combine her passion for mythology, steamy romance, and action/suspense. Her imagination takes her from one universe to the next. Thus far, she has several series up as well as single titles waiting in line for production.
The terror of a Zombie Apocalypse doesn’t just shred the very fiber of humanity, it touches every species on Earth, and the shifters are prepared to battle the zombie hordes to save the human survivors. Eva Gordon’s RAVEN MOON will bring a raven princess seemingly more concerned with fashion trends and flirting, a powerful witch and Fenrir werewolf pack together on a mission to obtain the vaccine needed to end Z-Phage. What they discover is a new breed of zombie, one able to take down the powerful shifters, and the clock is ticking as Earth as they know is quickly coming to an end.
Not all murders or packs are friendly and politics, religion and revenge could put Ravenna, Raven Princess on trial for the destruction of a priceless relic, until her captor, Maddox, a Benandanti Templar, finds that for as much as she must pay for her crime, his wolf is determined to save her for himself, as his mate. As they say, let the games begin as Fate, Love and War battle not only zombies, but two hearts who defy the laws of nature and nurture as they struggle against the passion and electric chemistry they cannot help but feel.
Non-stop action, turmoil, heat and danger consume the world Eva Gordon has created. Get ready to see ravens in a different light, discover the attraction opposites share and the trust that they must create in order to save the world from total annihilation. Can they bridge their conflicting ideals or will the world, along with their forbidden passion go down in flames?
Once again, Eva Gordon colors outside of the box, knowing that the world is always ready for great writing, steaming passion and zombies that break the mold. Despite the fact that the previous book Apocalyptic Moon didn’t blow me away I was intrigued enough to continue on. And overall I enjoyed this book more.
Raven and her bodyguards are looking for survivors when they come across a biological research facility. They discover that human zombies and the vicious gangs known as tankers are not all they have to worry about. Chimpanzombies are now a thing.
“Early during the Z-phage pandemic, we secretly manipulated the virus to infect chimpanzees. It worked and the specimens turned.” Appalled, Rave gave him a scolding stare. “Why the hell would you do that?”
While I liked the flighty Raven princess in Apocalyptic over a full book she started to wear a bit thin.
Maddox however I loved. After a year back home in England he returns to find everything has changed. And not for the better. His main focus is still on the Kindred and killing Jaeger. But he comes across Rave again and struggles with his feelings. Like Dirk and Dana in Apocalyptic Maddox and Rave are forbidden to mate. But how long can they fight against themselves?
Like I said I enjoyed this more, the story was interesting although again I felt it was a little too long. And it took Maddox far too long to get his act together.
It’s straight onto Blood of the Moon now. Or maybe not. When I started this series I assumed all the books would be on KU. That’s not the case so I’m passing on the last book.
Second book in the dystopian/zombie adventure and paranormal romance. The story continues right after the first book. But now we are following Rave, princess of the Raven Shifters. She may be royalty but she wants to be part of the fight against all of the enemies. Her murder (family of ravens) have joined forces with others and have made a safe haven in Yosemite. But the zombies are still around. The Kindred are still trying to kill the shifters and then their are the fanatic wolf shifters that are trying to kill all witches. We follow her and Maddox. He is the one male that may kill her or lead her to her death. But both feel the pull to each other. But they will face death, betrayal and the past. Action, danger, deception, heroes, villains and even romance.
Great Story! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. You just have to love the persona of Maddox—his messed up religious beliefs and the havoc they reek with his conscience are truly vexing. You will also love Rave’s snarky, carefree attitude that’s paired with compassion for others. The struggle of acknowledging their attraction causes a lot of problems on down the line. Their interaction with the villains of this series is suspenseful and filled with much danger that will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. The introduction of chimpanzee zombies is truly a nightmare as well as the gangs of corrupt humans.that Rave and Maddox must fight. I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Raven Moon (After the Bane Book 2) by Eva Gordon was an awesome story that I have read. This is book number two in this awesome series and can not wait to read the next book. I highly recommend this story to all.

❤️ 📚 👍 I received a arc and volunteer to review this book. Another fantastic read from a favorite author. Eva is a fabulous writer and love all her wonderful works.
Another great story! It's such a well woven tale! I devoured it! The characters are well developed and a great addition to the series! I look forward to book 3!
A virus which causes humans to turn into zombies, now known as the Bane, has been released yet there are a few pockets of people who have managed to survive. Shifters fared better than humans since Alphas are immune to the virus and betas and the young can escape while in their shifter form. Joining ranks, different shifters have made it their mission to save as many humans that they can find and protect them. Princess Ravenna, a raven shifter is currently working with the wolf group who has compounded themselves and the humans they protect in Yellowstone National Park.
While on a routine search for survivors, Raven and her guards come upon a small band of humans holed up in a hospital. They learn that there are worst things in the world than man eating zombies, try gorilla zombies. After taking the survivors to their compound Raven and her guards take off on a mission to uncover the gorilla zombies and hopefully destroy them. Finding the research facility they soon run into trouble and come against a hunter, Maddox, from the Benadanti pack. The Benadanti are pack of wolves currently out for Raven’s head since she stole their bloodstone, a stone which helps them find witches. Maddox is hunting for the Kindred leader Jaeger and is more than happy to rescue Raven since this affords him the opportunity he needs to deliver her to his leader. Along the way to the Maddox and Raven will discover that the lines between good and evil aren’t as easily drawn as they thought, they will have to work together to get themselves out of one scrape after another and somehow fight the extreme attraction that seems to be developing between them.
In her second offering of the After the Bane Series, Ms. Gordon gives us a glimpse in the world of bird shifters, more precisely ravens. With the introduction of gorilla zombies, we have an enemy that is more brutal than human zombies and who can actually kill shifters. A lethal combination of zombies, evil men and pious shifters can cause all sorts of damage, add to that Raven’s natural propensity to find trouble and you have one wild ride.
Raven is a princess and as vain as they come, like all birds she likes to preen and sometimes at the most inopportune times. I found myself never totally warming up to her, her vanity and inability to grasp the seriousness of most situations she found herself in tended to get old. She seemed more interested in whether her hair was mussed up than the fact that there were terrible things happening all around her. Maddox was a little easier to deal with but even he could get a little tiresome with his inability to see the forest for the trees where his beliefs were concerned.
Raven Moon is a little darker than the first book in the series, while there are glimpses of the humor we enjoyed in Apocalyptic Moon they are few and far between. This book was action packed and there was plenty of intense fight scenes that were graphic enough to make the lover of blood and gore sit up and take notice. Not to worry though because in between the action there is plenty of heat between Raven and Maddox and the chemistry between the two was fun to watch.
Even though I’m not a fan of zombie books, I’ve found myself enjoying this series. While I found this book a little less fun than the first one, this series has completely taken me by surprise and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Gordon has up her sleeve next.

Princess Ravenna is kick arse, and I love it! This is the second book in the After The Bane series, which has pretty much everything, zombie, werewolf, shifters, witches, supes in general. Princess Ravenna is a Raven shifter. This is the first book that I have read about a shifter other than a wolf or cat type animal, and I loved it! I love reading how the author describes things that Raven does, eg clucking and preening, it really captured a great picture in my mind about how Raven would look and how she would act. I thought it was very cool! I love the language that she used when Raven was describing flying and and doing other bird like things.
This book starts off pretty much where the first left off. Raven has parted ways with her betrothed and is now in the Avian Intel team, she has hung up her princess hat and is trying to lead a better life by helping others. While on a mission Raven's royal guards are ripped apart while protecting her from chimpanzombies.....yes that is right chimpanzombies... a new creation from the bad guys in book one, the rival werewolves who are determined to take over the world. With Raven injured and unable to fly she is captured by a enemy Benandanti Templar wolf Maddox. Raven and Maddox have a bit of a history, they have met once before and much to Maddox's disgust his wolf instantly had his mind set on making Raven his mate. Unfortunately for him, he is a devout Templar warrior and Raven and her shifter family are deemed Satan's children. He doesn't care what his wolf wants, and does everything he can to beat it back into submission including a bit of self flagellation.
But with Raven so close by and injured and his wolf pushing him to renounce his faith and take the little temptress, as well as trying to protect himself from his so called prophet who seems to have lost his mind, Maddox finds himself fighting an uphill battle. Raven who has since she first met him had a thing for Maddox, does what she can to seduce him. Because well, he is hot and forbidden, and to be honest I think she likes annoying him a but!!!Little did either of them know that Fate had her mind made up about both of them a long time ago, and unable to resist each other any longer they both break with their traditions and decide that love is worth the risk.
Maddox is one tough dude, he is one of the best wolf fighters, but he is so not good with the ladies. It is so adorable watching him trying to resist Raven. She is like the forbidden fruit, he wants her, but knows that having her with bring so many consequences that will not be good. Raven is such a flirt and tease, but when it comes down to it, she is just an insecure woman, who really hasn't had much experience with men. She has been sheltered by her family because of her royal status and while her parents are away, she is taking life by the horns and doing things she has always wanted to do. And what she has always wanted was to find a werewolf mate, so when the hottest and toughest wolf in town kidnaps her, its like all her dreams have come true at once!
I cant wait to see who the next book in the series will be about!!!!! Bring it on zombie style!!!!!
Ravenna “Rave”, a raven shifter, is princess of the northern raven conclave, with a strong attraction to werewolves—namely Maddox. A person she recently rescued, speaks of a rumor of a cure for Z-phage and she plans with her friend Dora, who is a witch, to go check it out. Once there, her path crosses with a survivor who has been bit and is making a recording of the truth, that there is no cure, only a new type of zombie—chimpanzombies. She is rescued from them by Maddox, who has plans of taking her to face his pack’s justice … can she convince him otherwise before they get there? Maddox is a werewolf, Templar of the Benandanti and hunter of the Kindred, whose mission is to wipe out shifters. After being gone a year, he returns and finds there is a new leader, a possibly insane Lazarus, who then offers him the post of his second. First, he flies to Texas where Jaeger, the leader of the Kindred, was seen last, and once there the pilot gives him orders to seek out the truth behind a rumor for a cure instead. Immediately he is thrust into battle with the new zombies and saves Rave, the “devil’s spawn” who has occupied his mind this past year, and who just also happens to be his pack’s #1 enemy. During a supply run, Rave saves a former scientist who mentions a rumor of a colleague back in Texas who in search of a vaccine experimented with chimpanzees. She volunteers to go and investigate, but instead of a cure she finds a new type of zombie instead—chimpanzombies—who are faster, stronger, and eat anything. After a run in with the zombies and a bad injury, she is saved by Maddox who wants to take her to face pack justice. The way back is more than just evading zombies, there are tankers, slave traders, the Kindred, and the very intense chemistry growing between them. Which is easy compared to the last hurdle to their forbidden love—meeting Rave’s parents. This book was a good addition to the series starting with Apocalyptic Moon, which you do not have to read first, but you should because it was awesome. I adored the romance and lust budding between Rave and Maddox, it added delicious sexual tension to go with the thrilling action and intrigue already a part of the story that involved new super zombies, a burgeoning cult, a sex trade, (with questionable merchandize) and plots within plots, as if the zombie apocalypse alone would be boring. Rave and Maddox are pretty much opposites, she is this girly, bubbly raven, and he is a stern pious wolf. Those differences, tied with the dual, smooth POVs switches, added depth and character which made a more exciting and satisfying read. I really liked this read, with its twists and turns, surprises, a touch of humor, and would recommend it to anyone looking for more than the normal zombie story. After the Bane is a series that will to appeal to just about anyone. With an interesting mix of Zombie Apocalypse, hot Shifters, and some great romance - there's always something exciting happening. Ravenna played a smaller part in the first book of the series, but she stole the show for the pages she was on. She's a diva that also happens to be the alpha female of her raven murder - the princess that is set to take over the rule of the North American ravens.
Fate may have a different idea of what Rave will be doing. When she falls not only for a werewolf, but an enemy werewolf that thinks she devil-spawned, she's pretty sure something is going to go wrong. When they run into each other again afer a failed mission, Maddox has a hard time keeping his wolf from instantly marking her as his.
Their trip to accepting each other is full of strange supper ape zombie attacks, sex slave rings, and resistance from the shifters in their lives. But with so much going go, they still need to try and find time to figure out their love for each other and what to do about it.
This was an amazing second edition to the series and I really really hope there's more to come. With fantastically dynamic characters and a non-stop plot line (that doesn't skimp on the romance) it was nearly impossible to put down. While this is the second in the series, you could probably read it by itself and only miss out on a little of the world and organization backgrounds. I love the fact that Eva Gordon tackled the raven shifters - making a less glamourous bird into something truly exotic, exciting and sexy.
this was the first book I've read with animal shifters,witches, mixed with zombies! I love the post apocalypse/zombie genre and "raven moon" is a nice change from your regular zombie apocalypse books. I loved the characters Maddox and Ravenna, I would have given five stars but I felt the ending was a bit lackluster, at one point their getting ready to do the nasty and the next they're in conversation about other topics that shouldn't matter when your HOT and in the mood!! I was like..what just happened?? when the book ended I had to go back a page or two and make sure I didn't miss anything. it's just my opinion but if there's a sequel to this book the ending should have been a bit more complete, there wasn't even a cliffhanger, (which I hate cliffhanger endings anyhow) that's probably my most negative thought on this book, oh wait, and the first time they had sex I felt it was lacking as well. it wasn't as passionate as it should have been, Maddox and Ravenna have been waiting a year to do the nasty and the build up was Awesome, BUT when they finally do the nasty it was short lived and bland. for me those were the two biggest negatives. on the positive side, this story was very visual an had a lot of comedy,adventure,violence,and most important alpha male!!! I would totally recommend this book if you want to read something different in the zombie apocalypse genre. I hope there's a sequel, but with a better ending. (( ;
Hats off for the gorgeous cover, it really says a lot about what the book is about in my opinion. We have Rave a Raven Princess and Maddox a white wolf, she is so flirty and he is so stuffy that they are absolutely perfect together. I appreciated how each character was an individual and how they came together and became a couple.
Really enjoyed how this story developed and it is full of action—we have zombies, werewolves dismembering and decapitating zombies by the hundreds, merciless tankers, and zealous Benandanti werewolves, a new zombie threat and while facing all this.....Rave and Maddox struggle against their forbidden passion. They will have to set aside their conflicts, trust each other and work together to strike at the new zombie threat before the new virus spreads.
Overall, this is one of those stories that has you thinking ‘just one more chapter’ then leaves you wanting to call in sick the next day from work cause you were up half the night reading. I am looking forward to the next book in this fabulous series.

Well... What can I say? It's was a weird read, I wasn't expecting that.
I mean... I was needng some mindless fun, something to laught at in the good or in the bad way but the only thing I wasn't expecting was a fucking japanese eroge.
The premise of the book is absurd (like an eroge), over the top(like an eroge), gore (like an eroge), the sex is bad(like an eroge), the main character think of sex a lot(like an nukige), the characters sins are easily forgiven(in a anime power of firenship style, like an eroge), the ending is happy (like an eroge), etc.
I can continue but there's gonna be no changes. Congratulations, let's clap aour hands; for this is one of the fullfiled dreams of lemmasoft: a real, pure english written by an english/american writter, japanese eroge.
Raven Moon is a fantastic follow to Apocalyptic Moon.
The main characters, Princess Ravenna and Benandanti wolf soldier Maddox, go on a roller coaster ride for their lives. Seems they are running from more then zombies and the Kindred.
Rave and Maddox have always thought of each other as enemies. Can they trust each other enough to survive the Tankers, zombies, the Kindred and the newest threat to humans and all shifters alike?
Raven Moon has a lot of great action and hot, steamy love going on.
Great characters, exciting plot, awesome book! I liked the first one better because I don't like so much conflict between the love birds, but that's a personal preference. Several times I wanted to scream at both of them to quit being stupid and start talking to each other instead of thinking about each other. But the fact that I cared speaks highly of the book and the attachment to the characters. :D
Quite a pair those two make. Sworn enemies, from different species but still, fate bring them together. In a chaotic world, running from Zombies, hunters and other dangers emerging in this new age, Rave and Maddox cannot escape their destiny nor their feelings. A beautiful couple, not the easiest relationship, but what is worth never is, the princess falls in love with her knight protector.
